Blue Hole

The Blue Hole is a natural cave connected to the Pacific Ocean and was rated as the second best cave diving spot in the world by Diver magazine.
The exterior looks like a dolphin with its mouth open, and inside is a huge stalactite cave, where the shadows cast by the rocks attract more underwater creatures.
There are all kinds of colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, manta rays, dolphins, jellyfish, sea urchins, etc., which are even more colorful than the underwater world.
There are two natural swimming pools inside, connected to the outside ocean through submarine channels.
For experienced deep-sea divers, this will be an unparalleled experience.

The surface of the blue hole looks turbulent, but after diving, it is a tranquil deep blue picture. Time and space suddenly stop, the roar of the waves disappears, and the dark and blue places in the distance are the estuaries. There are three of them, connecting to the Pacific Ocean outside. The blue is so magical that it seems like a gateway to another world in a dream. The beautiful pictures I saw underwater have become my unforgettable memories.

The world's second-most beautiful cave diving spot is not in vain. If you can, you should go there, even if it's just for snorkeling. On a good day, the scenery below the Blue Hole is absolutely breathtaking.

Even if you just pass by and take a look (like me), it is worth it. This kind of unique landform is not found everywhere.

By huihua_po |

The Blue Hole is really beautiful, but it feels a bit overdeveloped and crowded.

There are many photo shooting packages online, and there will be a coach to guide you throughout the process, so it’s okay if you can’t swim.

After the photoshoot, the instructor will send you photos to edit. In the edited photos, all the people around you will disappear.

When it comes to Saipan, many of you probably know this place. Speaking of Saipan, the first thing that comes to mind is probably the Blue Hole. And when it comes to the Blue Hole, there's only one word that comes to mind: beautiful! The Blue Hole is truly stunning, boasting the unique electric blue color it's named after. It's also a popular diving destination for scuba divers, and even those who can't dive don't need to worry; just looking at the beautiful, dreamy scenery is enough to satisfy your heart!

When sunlight shines through the cave's waters, the water shimmers a cat's-eye blue, creating a breathtaking natural landscape. The Blue Hole is a must-see for most diving enthusiasts, thanks to its clear waters and excellent visibility, attracting countless diving enthusiasts every year.

The Blue Hole is really beautiful. I booked a free diving photo shoot with my sister as a 30th birthday gift. The shoot was very quick and we played in it for a while. There weren't many fish, but the underwater world was really fascinating.

The Blue Hole is a must-see attraction in Saipan. If you are just sightseeing, it is recommended not to go there. You will not be able to see the beauty of the Blue Hole. It is best to go snorkeling or diving to see the scenery of the Blue Hole.

By bone |

The stairs are slippery and steep. It's not a good place to go snorkeling. There's no need to go down. You can't see anything.

By Zami |

Blue Grotto: We recommend wearing a full swimsuit; there's no changing area, and you don't need to wear sunscreen because the sun never shines inside. The pictures are stunning, and those with an AOW license can snorkel. Those without can only snorkel for fun. The water is over ten meters deep, so wear a life jacket and hold onto your mask. Jump off the rocks, but don't be nervous; the life jackets provide excellent buoyancy. Once you get down, you'll find it packed like a bathhouse, and your guide will take photos. Those who are brave enough to swim can remove their life jackets for photos.

There is a toilet on the shore, in the green house on the right.

A good place for diving and taking pictures, but it was rainy this time and there was not enough sunshine

The overall feeling is average, no different from swimming, just taking pictures.

It's actually a groundwater cave, but I don't know what makes the water appear a deep blue, especially at the entrance of the cave where there is blue light refracted, which is very beautiful and dreamy. You can dive here, I think it must be a great experience, but unfortunately I don't have a diving license.

It is a place you will only pass by by car, and the beauty of the blue hole can only be experienced by diving.

The Blue Hole, a natural cave connected to the Pacific Ocean, is said to be a haven for divers. Reaching the cave requires 88 irregular stone steps. Children under 8 years old are not permitted to snorkel at the Blue Hole.

By Swinty |

The Blue Hole is accessible via a long, steep set of stone steps. The water below is incredibly blue and deep, and there are many people snorkeling there. Since we didn't bring any gear or sign up for the Blue Hole snorkeling program, Xiao Yang and I just took a look, checked in, and left. (The stone steps back down were incredibly steep, and the climb back was exhausting.)

There is a kind of blue called The blue hole🧜🏻♀️

I was really excited to play in the Pacific Ocean without a life jacket or protective gear, because it was only by challenging myself that I could truly feel the joy of success!!!

Break through yourself and believe you can do it💙💙💙

Many people dive in it, and it's pitch black, so you can't see anything. (Why isn't it called a black hole?)

There are many requirements for entering the Blue Cave. The wind cannot be strong, the water cannot be too strong, and the water cannot be too rainy. When we arrived at the place where we took the boat to the Blue Cave, our eyes lit up. It was so beautiful! The sea was so blue~ The entrance to the Blue Cave is very small. Only one small boat can enter at a time, and a small boat can only seat four people. We were very happy to get on the boat, and there were only my husband and I. We were super happy! When entering the cave, you have to lie down. The boatman’s skills are really amazing. Once you enter the cave, it is so beautiful that you cry! The boatmen in the cave all sang together. Although I couldn’t understand them, they sounded really good. It was a great feeling~ Each boat could only stay in the cave for a few minutes, and then we left the cave. We were shocked by the beauty of the Blue Cave. When we were shocked, the fisherman asked us for a tip. Because there were only two of us, he asked us for a 10 euro tip. After all, the Blue Cave is so beautiful, it’s worth it~

I'm a landlubber and didn't dare to go in the water! To dive, you have to jump off a rock about a meter high! Now you can see a little bit of the blue of the cave entrance from the steps of the attraction! Although I didn't go in the water myself, the underwater photos I saw from others are really beautiful!

By Henman |

If you are snorkeling, the Blue Hole experience is average, but if you are scuba diving, it is a must-see spot and the highlight of the Saipan trip.

170 per person snorkeling + photo taking hotel pick up

After walking down the steps, you will reach a rock. Take off your shoes and jump from the rock into the sea. It is about one meter. The guide will catch you in the water. Just jump with confidence! Remember to listen to the guide!

Be sure to go early! Go! Go early! We booked online and were picked up at the hotel at around 8am. We were the first ones there when we arrived, and there was no one else there!!! After a while, people started arriving and the photos weren't as nice anymore.

Listen to the guide's instructions and don't be nervous. The photos are also very nice. The waves are not very big in the summer, which is suitable for taking pictures.

Seeing it in person is infinitely more beautiful than taking photos! We went snorkeling and scuba diving to enter the cave.

I took my 9-year-old son there thinking it wouldn't be thrilling, but I was wrong. When we got to the Blue Hole, we actually jumped from a few meters into a 20-meter-deep ocean. My goodness! Thankfully, my son can swim and was brave enough for us to get in the water without any problems. There were three other divers underwater, and diving here requires an AOW certification. Since I was mostly watching my son, I occasionally glanced at the sea but didn't see many fish. Why were there so many people there? Just as we were about to leave, I glanced back underwater and was captivated. There was a deep hole beneath the surface, and the water shone through it, emitting a faint blue light, like another unknown world. I couldn't take my eyes off it. This is what attracts divers to the Blue Hole. The process of getting out was also thrilling. We had to take turns leaving, holding on to the ropes to avoid being swept away by the waves.

The diving here is very difficult and requires aow. For a novice like me who has just learned to swim, snorkeling is better. At the beginning, you need to jump from a rock about 2 meters deep, which is very exciting! The underwater scenery is amazing, but it’s a pity that my wife is too timid, so I just took care of her...

By Hot Pot Girl Sue |

To reach the Blue Grotto, you have to descend over a hundred steep concrete steps. The path is slippery after rain, so it's difficult to walk on. At the bottom, the waves at the cave entrance are very strong, so be careful and follow your instructor's instructions.

It's not easy to be a mermaid. The one I booked is very professional and the instructors are very responsible.

As long as you are not afraid of water, it really doesn’t matter whether you can swim or not. The buoyancy is very strong and you don’t have to worry about not being able to float.

The coach will help you adjust your breathing rhythm and posture, and then you will be responsible for diving again and again.

I really regret not getting a test first. I think it would have been a great help in equalizing ear pressure. I was really scared because my ears were so painful that I couldn't bear it at one point and couldn't dive very deep. But this depends on the individual.

By queenny |

The Blue Hole is a must-see. If you can dive, you must go deep. Even snorkeling is a very good experience. Beautiful girls wearing bikinis can take great pictures.

By coca xiao |

The Blue Hole is a holy place for checking in and taking photos.

The Blue Hole has a small area in the middle that is suitable for snorkeling and taking photos. The water flow around it is still very fast, so it is best not to swim too far. If you want to snorkel, you must jump off a nearly 2-meter-high rock, which is a bit scary for us who are not very good at swimming.

But as long as you are willing to take that step and listen carefully to the precautions given by the local guide, jumping in is not that scary. The water in the Blue Hole is indeed very blue, especially in the photos. There are small fish in the water but not many. There are more people snorkeling and taking pictures.

Our photos were just taken while we were snorkeling on the water surface. They felt like Taobao buyer shows and were not as beautiful as we had imagined. However, the mothers still had a lot of fun. After getting ashore, they couldn't resist the urge to take photos and took a lot of small group photos.

Suggestion: Wear a solid red swimsuit when visiting the Blue Hole; the color will look great in photos taken in the blue water.

This was the spot I was most looking forward to. Before I even set off, I'd read numerous guides and descriptions. It's Saipan's most famous, mysterious, and challenging diving spot. The geology of the northeast corner is limestone formed by coral reefs, and the Blue Hole is the most amazing part. The Blue Hole is currently considered the world's number one diving destination, so a trip to Saipan wouldn't be complete without visiting it. Without a diving license, we could only snorkel there. For those who enjoy photography, I recommend booking a professional travel photographer online. The results of professional travel photography in the Blue Hole are truly beyond imagination. I've seen some incredibly beautiful photos in other travel guides. The price is around 2,000 to 3,000, but it's definitely worth it! I really envy them for being able to blow circles underwater. In fact, at this restaurant I booked, although the instructor helped us take photos, the effect was not very good. Maybe it was because the instructor was Chinese, he would not let us do dangerous actions, such as diving into the water. However, the foreign instructor (Xiao Hei, because his skin is very dark and he is a very nice person, so we gave him the nickname Xiao Hei, haha) was quite good. He was very happy to help us pose for various photos and even took the initiative to let us dive into the water to take photos!

I encountered a small episode here. I usually tie my gropo tightly on my wrist, but because I wanted to take pictures, I gave it to my friend to help me hold it. Unexpectedly, tragedy happened. When we were about to leave for the shore, my friend found that it was lost. It was estimated that it had sunk to the bottom of the blue cave. We were nervous and quickly told the coach, hoping that we could find it back. Fortunately, everyone was very enthusiastic to help. They dived into the water to look for it for more than ten minutes. When we were preparing for the worst, Xiao Hei actually helped me find it back. I was so touched!

The water shimmers a cat's-eye blue, a breathtaking electric blue, combined with natural stalactites, creating a breathtaking spectacle. The Blue Grotto, resembling a dolphin with its mouth open, houses a vast stalactite cave. Inside, two natural swimming pools are connected to the ocean via an underwater channel. Light filters in from the sea, creating a stunning pale blue hue. This piercing electric blue is the origin of the Blue Grotto's name. The steps down to the bottom of the Blue Grotto are steep and slippery, so wear non-slip sandals and always hold onto the handrails or ropes.

By Flying low |

Highly recommended. The Blue Hole is a sacred place for many diving enthusiasts. Even for someone like me who has no snorkeling experience, the first experience was truly breathtaking. Leaping from a one- or two-meter-high rock into the sea requires courage and determination. The sheer force of the dive can easily wash off your goggles, but a skilled swimmer will help you pull them back from the depths of over ten meters. The light filtering through the hole gives you a glimpse of the vast Pacific Ocean, but the cave may be temporarily closed in strong winds and waves.

By BIUBIU-X |

I was completely reluctant to go, the thought of jumping off a rock completely irritated me. But since I'd already paid, I decided to go anyway. Our instructor was a 1992-born Shenyang guy. The Blue Hole requires one instructor to take six people into the water. With the courage to skydive, jumping off a 1.5-meter-high rock was no big deal. So, we went, and with two splashes, we were in the water. One young woman on her honeymoon was incredibly scared and refused to jump, no matter how much we tried to persuade her. When she finally got out, she scratched the necks of the instructor and the person helping her. I honestly think the instructor's job is tough. Everyone who goes to the Blue Hole, please be careful, don't try to be too aggressive, and follow the instructor's instructions. I was swinging so hard in the water that I almost vomited again. P.S. I saw a little celebrity near the Blue Hole! I was so excited.

By Jianbing Guozi |

In fact, the waves in the Blue Hole may seem very big on the surface, but it is very calm after diving underwater. There is not much current and it is not difficult at all. However, before entering the water, there is a section of road from the bottom of the stone steps to the large reef for diving. You must be extra careful because the road is slippery and the waves are big. You must hold on to the railings tightly, otherwise you will easily be knocked down by the waves.

The Blue Hole has three openings that lead directly into the Pacific Ocean. Light filtering in from the surface creates a dreamy blue hue, refracted by the water. The leftmost opening is particularly striking, creating the giant blue triangle often seen in magazines and online, a perfect stage for divers to strike a pose. The center and right openings are smaller, so we took photos inside the leftmost opening, then exited through the center opening to the open sea and returned through the rightmost opening. This allowed us to experience all three openings in one dive, which took about 25 minutes. The dive fee is $90, including equipment.

By Yuzi Yuyuzi |

The Blue Hole is really amazing. It is a natural cave with a hole in the sea connected to the Pacific Ocean. So the cave looks calm, but in fact there are turbulent undercurrents. You must be accompanied by a coach to go there.

I love the unique way to enter the water in the Blue Hole, jump in!

Director Lu brought an underwater camera and took lots of photos for us. The Blue Hole is really blue.

If there are a thousand reasons to come to Saipan, then for me, there is only one reason to come to Saipan, and that is to come for the only two blue holes in the world.

The Blue Hole is a natural cave connected to the Pacific Ocean. It has three waterways connected to the open sea, with three entrances on the left, middle and right. Light shines from the open sea into the cave through the waterways, and a light blue sheen can be seen in the blue hole pool, which is quite beautiful.

The Blue Hole is a classic of Saipan, and those with a cave diving license must not miss it.

By MICHAEL |

It has become a bathing pool for Chinese people. Groups of Chinese tourists go snorkeling there. In fact, snorkeling does not allow you to see the essence of the blue hole.

By China-TravelNote users |

This is a must-see attraction in Saipan. The beautiful blue light has always captivated me. Please be careful when snorkeling.

By A red bean reminds me of the South. |

The Blue Hole was ranked the second best cave diving site in the world by Diver Magazine.

For experienced deep-sea divers, this is an unparalleled experience. Due to the influence of the tides, the water inside the cave can be calm at times and turbulent at others, so you must be extremely careful when swimming or diving in the cave.

To enter the Blue Hole, you need to walk up a long staircase and then pass through cement stone steps. The waves are big and the cement stone steps are steep and slippery, so it is best to walk slowly and be especially careful. Finally, you need to jump into the water from the stone, which is not high, only about 2 meters.

According to the tour guide, diving in the Blue Hole is now prohibited because if you get out of the group, you will definitely die. However, the blue of the Blue Hole is indeed fascinating and attracts many people. When we left, we could still see a group of people diving into the water with oxygen tanks on their backs, preparing to dive deep.

By ぺboo Qin |

After donning life jackets and descending a long flight of stairs, we arrived at the Blue Hole. We crossed the hole one by one, pulling on the ropes. The waves kept coming, so we had to hold on tight and follow the instructor's instructions. Standing on a large rock dam, we could see the Blue Hole in its entirety. Unfortunately, it was difficult to bring a phone or camera with us. As a landlubber who can't swim, I choked on the seawater as soon as I put on my mask and jumped in. After being lifted up by the instructor, I held on tightly to the float. The instructor was incredibly patient, constantly teaching me to relax, guiding me step by step, and showing me how to breathe. At one point, I was about to give up and stop taking photos, but the instructor insisted, and I managed to snap a few shots at the end, making the trip worthwhile.

By W__cherry |

The depth of the blue hole requires a diving certificate, so we novices can just experience it by snorkeling.

To get to the Blue Hole, you need to go down a very steep stone staircase. Entering the Blue Hole also requires the guidance of a coach, otherwise it is easy to be washed into the Pacific Ocean by the sea and then jump in. It was also the first time I dived in my life. Although it was not high,

You can hardly see any fish while snorkeling, but it is still magical to see the faint blue light emanating from the cave.

A place you'll be hooked on once you visit it, like drinking a little bit of a cup and wanting to have another cup every day.

By crius |

Before I went there, I searched a lot of information about the Blue Hole and was full of curiosity about it. After I went there, I can only say that I was almost scared to death because my swimming ability is only suitable for playing in the swimming pool. But as for the Blue Hole, I saw that the pictures everyone took were very beautiful, and it was not as scary as people said. In fact, many people retreated when they reached the bottom of the stone steps because the waves were particularly big that day. Some people did not hold the rope tightly while walking towards the big rock and were directly hit by the waves on the rocks behind, hitting their heads. It was really scary. I didn't bring my cell phone, and the photos were taken by the team leader and photographer, so I didn't take any photos of the blue hole entrance, only photos of snorkeling. To enter the blue hole, you have to walk down more than a hundred steps, and then jump from a big rock more than two meters high. Everyone has to wear a life jacket, because the total depth of the blue hole is more than 40 meters, and your feet can't touch the ground anyway. When I jumped from the rock, I was not fully prepared, and I didn't even wear my snorkeling goggles, so I choked on a mouthful of sea water as I wished. When I jumped, I felt that the whole world was quiet and I could only hear the gurgling sound of bubbles around me until my life jacket brought me to the surface. Then I held on to the floating board the whole time because I was afraid of the big waves. I couldn't control the direction I wanted to go. Even the local guide who took me to take pictures had no choice but to move me several times. I was also very desperate. I didn't want to be swept away by the waves, there was really nothing I could do, but I have to admit that the Blue Hole is really beautiful and it has a magical charm that makes people want to explore it. My legs were weak when I got ashore, but later I thought back on the process and felt that it was a very interesting experience. I had given up on getting a diving certificate, but later I changed my mind.

We booked online in advance and someone came to pick us up in the evening. We also recommended the Blue Hole snorkeling because we didn't have a diving certificate, otherwise the deep dive would be even better. The waves in the Blue Hole are very big and dangerous, so generally you should never take off your life jacket. Because we wanted to take beautiful photos, we wanted to confirm whether we could take off our life jackets to take pictures. The staff said it was no problem. They took us one by one to a fixed location and asked us to take off our life jackets to take pictures. As long as you don't paddle, you will float on the water. The staff are very good at taking pictures and will teach you how to pose. The photos taken are very good, so we gave a little more tip.

It is particularly worth noting that you must not take off your life jacket too early when you go up. The waves here are big and you will be swept down if you are not careful. If you come here, please pay attention.

The Blue Hole is really beautiful. You must wear a fog-proof mask to appreciate it. If you can, go diving to see it. It is even more beautiful. Be careful. Sometimes the tide will rise suddenly.

The geology of the northeast corner is limestone formed by coral reefs. The most amazing thing about the blue hole is that the limestone has been eroded and collapsed by sea water for a long time, forming a deep hole with a water depth of 17 meters and a maximum depth of 47 meters. There are three waterways connecting the blue hole to the open sea. Light shines into the hole from the open sea through the waterways, and the blue hole pool can reveal a light blue sheen, which is quite beautiful.

The Blue Grotto is a must-see. We arrived around 10 a.m., and it wasn't crowded. Half an hour later, it was packed, and the water was packed. I recommend going early. Seeing the blue underwater made me want to dive in.

By Xiaory |

Most tourists come to the Blue Hole for snorkeling. Snorkeling does not require any diving certificate, but you must be accompanied by a local instructor. The Blue Hole is very beautiful, and even non-diving enthusiasts are recommended to come and experience it. The price of snorkeling is less than 200 yuan, and an additional 50 yuan can provide underwater photography services, which is recommended. Because underwater photography is not something you can do with just an underwater camera, if you want to take good photos, the instructor will usually free dive to 35 meters underwater and take pictures of you from below, so that you can take more high-quality photos that are more "Blue Hole-featured"~ The instructors are all tied with lead weights, and people who have not been trained really can't sink even if they want to. Comrades who have tried to sit on the bottom of the swimming pool should have a deep impression~

The Blue Hole is really suitable for free diving. There are also free diving training courses in the local area. Those who are interested can participate. Of course, mine doesn’t count. I just took a chance and was lucky enough to be caught by the coach at this moment. With this photo, this morning’s hard work is not in vain.

Back to diving: As a diving destination, the Blue Hole's true value lies in its deep diving. Blue Hole diving requires high standards for divers. You can't just train for three days and get an OW certificate. You need at least an Advanced Owl (AOW) level. Even those with no experience in the past year or two might not be allowed to go. If you want to dive the Blue Hole, your instructor will first take you to Lao Lao Beach to test your skills. Cave exploration requires high skill levels, such as maintaining a constant altitude in the current to prevent danger. Furthermore, Blue Hole diving requires a local guide, and each guide can only take two divers.

Snorkeling in the blue hole was really great. I also saw the fish that lives in the blue hole. I was traveling alone and was teased by a beautiful diving instructor.

An unexpected touch of blue 🌊

Grotto is like a masterpiece of nature.

Connected to the open sea, there is a pillar of light shining down from the sun in the water

Attracted me to snorkel with him and kept swimming in

There will be waves hitting the purple rocks next to it

There will be deep dive swimmers taking photos underwater

Spit out a string of bubbles

Like a string of pearls

I made a pact with him

Next time I come back, I'll bring my diving certificate.

We want to be that charming mermaid 🐟

The Blue Hole is highly recommended. It's a place where luck is key; strong winds and high waves can easily lead to the cave closing. However, if you experience the thrill of snorkeling from the rocks, and the occasional fear of being unable to reach shore due to the waves, you'll remember this place forever.

Snorkeling in the Blue Hole is a must-do in Saipan. We found a Filipino guide who took us through it smoothly. The price was very reasonable and suitable for non-swimmers.

If you want to take good photos of the Blue Hole, you must get up early. You have to jump into the Blue Hole, which is what I fear the most. I didn’t dare to jump in the swimming pool. In the end, I asked the coach to jump in first, and then I didn’t dare to do it anymore. In the end, I was so scared that I just walked down from the side.

My husband was very brave and jumped in immediately. After adjusting himself, he could enjoy the view. It felt very mysterious. The instructor said that a big turtle swam out of the cave, but I looked hard for a long time and didn't see it. The blue hole was more than ten meters deep, the blue was pure and deep, and I once again couldn't help but sigh at the great power of nature.

It was still early, so we had to wait for a wave to push us up from a dedicated path (which is actually where I went down). The Blue Grotto was the end of the trip. The main purpose of the Blue Grotto was to take photos, so if you want to take good photos, you must overcome your fear of water. If you're afraid, look far away instead of looking at the deep ocean. I love water, so I like to look down. The seabed is crystal clear. There are relatively few fish here, and only a few occasionally swam past me.

Snorkeling in the blue hole is very interesting. After fully armed, you can jump from the big rock. The water is shining blue and you can see some small fish. You can see the bottom of the cave for nearly ten meters. There is no color, just for novelty and excitement.

Finally arrived at the legendary blue hole, snorkeling, so exciting

It's a truly remarkable wonder of nature. Whether you can swim or not, you can explore it with a professional instructor. It's definitely worth the trip. Thanks to Xiaofei from the Lao Song team for his professional guidance.

This is a place that professional diving enthusiasts yearn for. The fluorescent blue is particularly beautiful, but you have to walk down a flight of stairs. The stairs are very narrow and there is a high possibility of collisions between people going up and down, so you need to be careful.

The Blue Grotto is a must-see, and you absolutely have to swim in it. It's truly breathtaking to swim inside. Photos can't capture its beauty, and there are schools of small fish. It's best to go early to avoid crowds. When we went there, it was past 11am, when others had already left for shore, but it was still quite crowded. You have to walk down over 100 steps, which was quite shaky.

Blue Hole, this name, just hearing it makes people excited

It's really beautiful, the scenery is very blue as its name suggests, but there are a lot of people.

Those with diving certificates should not miss this place. It is very beautiful, but unfortunately we can only snorkel and can only look at it. It is a must-see for diving enthusiasts.

It is a place worth visiting. After many years, the deep and transparent blue light will still shine in your memory.

Going to the Blue Hole in the morning will result in fewer people, but the water will be colder. It is a mysterious and alluring place.

Located in the northeast corner of Saipan, the Blue Hole is a natural cavern connected to the Pacific Ocean. It was ranked the second best cave diving site in the world by Diver Magazine. It's said that a trip to Saipan isn't complete without visiting the Blue Hole. The North Half-Day Tour only offers a glimpse of the Blue Hole; snorkeling is an additional fee.

I had no idea what the Blue Hole would look like before I descended the 108 steps, holding onto the handrail. Once there, I was instantly stunned by the view. It was the first time I truly understood what blue was. It was so mesmerizing. There were still a few rocks with strong waves before jumping off them. Unfortunately, I was too timid to dare to jump. If you can, do it! Don't be like me. The blue of the Blue Hole is so profound. Looking down, it seems the seabed is shallow, but in reality, it's only about ten meters. It's truly amazing how powerful nature is. The blue of the Blue Hole, its beauty, needs to be experienced firsthand. Here are some photos. Don't be afraid; as long as you don't struggle, you won't sink. The buoyancy is incredible.

The Blue Grotto, ranked the world's second best cave diving site by Diver Magazine, is a natural cavern connected to the Pacific Ocean. The Blue Grotto is formed by the long-term erosion and collapse of limestone, which is then filled with deep blue water through three channels at the bottom. The relatively calm water makes it suitable for snorkeling and free diving. Deep diving, with depths reaching 17 meters and a maximum depth of 47 meters, requires an AOW or higher license. You need to pay attention to safety when entering the Blue Hole. First, you need to walk down 119 steps to reach the entrance of the Blue Hole. There is a stone platform at the entrance to the water. There is a deep ditch where the steps are connected to the water platform. On both sides are relatively turbulent washing machine flows (also called "flush toilets"). You must be very careful here and walk over in time under the guidance of the dive guide. In addition, when snorkeling above the cave entrance, be careful not to get close to the rock edge; there are not many fish you can see while snorkeling, and the dive guide will help take pictures one by one. As long as you pose well and avoid the legs, it is not difficult to take a beautiful amber blue photo.
