Disney California Adventure Park

This is Disney's exclusive California theme park, officially opening in 2001. The park features scaled-down versions of famous California landmarks, such as the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge and Santa Monica Beach, showcasing the park's fascinating culture and rich history, a true expression of the park's essence. It's also a park for older children, boasting the most thrilling rides of any Disneyland park. The rocket-like California Screamin' roller coaster stretches several kilometers across the park, offering a thrilling and turbulent ride. The unique Ferris wheel with its swaying slide offers a thrilling feeling of being about to burst off the track while enjoying the scenery. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a combination of a haunted house and a bungee jump, plunges you into the depths of zero gravity. Of course, there's plenty of Disney flair here too. The Little Mermaid Ariel's Undersea Adventure warms your heart, while Soarin Over California lets you soar 100 meters above the California skyline. At night, the magical Disney water light show on the central lake caps off a perfect and fulfilling day.

Day three was still spent at Disneyland. We visited the new park, Disney California Adventure, which is more suitable for adults. The old park was more about fairy tales, while the new one is more about thrills. Of course, the performances in the new park are also excellent, especially the breathtaking "Frozen." California Adventure opened on February 8, 2001, covering 55 acres. The Incredibles roller coaster, Cars, The Little Mermaid, and Mickey's Ferris Wheel are all very popular rides. Of course, Marvel's Avengers is also a must-see, where you can encounter Marvel heroes like Captain America and Spider-Man. Then, take the thrilling "Guardians of the Galaxy" bungee jump, where you will see heroes like Star-Lord, Rocket, and Groot. As a Marvel fan, this is the place to go.

By Meghan |

The Adventure Park has five areas:

1. Hollywood studios:

The legendary indoor bungee jumping machine "Guardians of the Galaxy"

After Yaoyao and I came down, we looked at the comparison between ourselves and the others on the screen and felt very sad...

One-hour "Frozen" live broadcast - every day at 12:00, 15:00, and 17:00. The scenes and special effects are all great, but 3:00 PM is nap time, and I fainted during the middle of "Let It Go" and was woken by Yao Yao's slap at the end. Elsa, who the girls love, is a bit stout.

2. Cars Land

This project has a single-passenger channel, which is much faster than the regular queue. At first, I thought the single-passenger channel was for single tourists, but later, when I saw a whole family of Americans go in, I realized that the single-passenger channel is for "individuals who are willing to sit separately" ~ so we also followed suit.

3. Pixar Pier, the famous Pixar animation area. The roller coaster and Ferris wheel in advertisements and travel guides are all from this area.

The Ferris wheel has a ring within a ring, and when it rotates, the small cabin rotates 360 degrees on the small ring.

The queue for the roller coaster was unexpectedly fast. Two cars could run on the track at the same time, and it took only 20 minutes to get in line.

4. A bug' land is said to be for children to play with. Give up.

5. Rafting in Grizzly Peak is closed because it is too cold in winter.

The park has been decorated with Spring Festival elements, and the guzheng version of Jasmine Flower is played on loop.

By Single expression |

In the Buena Vista Street area, you can see Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, etc. Goofy is wearing a Halloween costume, which is quite different from Shanghai.

Paradise Gardens Park has some attractions that are more suitable for children, such as the Little Mermaid. Compared with the simple layout and interaction with Miguel in California Adventure Park, California Adventure Park is still very thoughtful.

When I visited before, I knew California Screamin' was terrifying; you could hear constant screams from down below. So, only Rain God went that year. This time, I noticed there was a new Incredicoaster, themed after The Incredibles. It seemed new and I hadn't ridden it before. Looking at the height restrictions, it looked like my son could go, so it shouldn't be that scary. So, I foolishly lined up...

The longer I waited in line, the more I realized something was wrong. By the time I got in the car and drove to the starting position, I realized I'd screwed myself. It had a new door and a new name, and I didn't recognize it anymore. I only opened my eyes a few times from start to finish. But in the end, it was just as the rumors said: it was just long, and that was it. When I got off, my legs felt weak.

Midway Mania is a target shooting game, similar to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger in Shanghai, but much more fun. First, it's 3D, and then there are multiple rounds. The object you shoot is a cannon that requires a string. By the last few rounds, I'd worn both my hands out from pulling the string.

Cars Land is the heart of California Adventure. The park's best rides are right here. The entrance itself evokes a California desert vibe, authentically recreating scenes from Cars.

Hollywood Land has Sulley and Popeye. This Monsters, Inc. project is a recreation of the original Monsters, Inc., where you can ride around in a miniature car. It's pretty much the same.

There's a Frozen show at the Hollywood Theater, about three or four times a day. We saw the last one, and it was an hour long. Compared to the Frozen Theater in Shanghai, it's a far cry from the original. If you don't see it, you've missed your trip to Disneyland. The theater is huge. Rain God and I went to the last show of the day, and it was so crowded that we had to sit up on the hill. But it didn't affect the show at all; the view was still fantastic.

Despite its small size, the park offers exciting and captivating programs. It also offers a rich and engaging experience, suitable for middle school students and adults. Some attractions, like the Ferris wheel, are also accessible to preschoolers. It's a must-see destination for children visiting the American West.

California Disneyland is the world's first Disney theme park, but it is far less famous in the United States than Orlando, so we chose the more unique Adventure Park.

The supposed "adventure" is really just a few thrill rides like roller coasters and bungee jumping. For adventurous Americans, this won't reduce the number of children. Instead, you'll see newborn babies being held by their nurses on Ferris wheels, and long lines for the most thrilling bungee jumping and roller coasters. The interactive attractions lack voice communication, making it difficult to experience the humor and even less likely to laugh along with the audience. Finding a fun graffiti wall to take photos with is always a good idea for us.

It is a good idea to take a Ferris wheel to overlook the park. You must pay attention to whether the car is shaking. If you don’t pay attention, the sudden shaking back and forth of the car when rising to a high altitude will surely make you mistakenly think it is a mechanical failure and scare you into a cold sweat.

We bought the tickets the day before and were able to visit on the same day and the next day. It was worth it. The children were especially happy.

By Maggie is a pig |

It was great. Although there wasn't much of an adventure to speak of, the proximity of the two parks made it worth the trip.

By Ollie 54tc |

I went on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. I rode both the bungee jumping machine and the roller coaster twice, and they were the only two fun ones. It was during the Spring Festival, so the park had a very Lunar New Year atmosphere.

By Deep-sea salted fish |

Personally, I think it's a park where both adults and children can have a great time (compared to Disneyland). The rides are thrilling but not excessive, and you can spend a happy day in laughter.

By Travel on the road |

It is more suitable for children, there are many fairy tale characters in it, the queue is super long, and the experience is discounted.

By Normal |

The overall experience is essentially the same as any other Disney theme park, the only difference being the design. California elements like Hollywood and Route 66 are all incorporated. This Disneyland is very Californian. I won't go into the details of the guide, but just focus on the lines, FASTPASS, and so on. We did everything in one day. Souvenirs are mostly made in China, so there's not much to buy. Small toys can be bought at the outlet mall, which has a Disney discount store. I highly recommend the hot dog stand in the Hollywood block. Don't miss it; it's delicious. I can't remember what it was called.

Disney in LA is divided into California Disneyland Resort (opened in 1955, the earliest and most authentic Disneyland, the only one designed by Mr. Walt Disney himself, and the second most visited Disneyland) and California Adventure (opened in 2001, built with California style, with relatively less crowds and more exciting attractions). The Resort is beautifully designed and themed, with almost every Disney character to be seen, making it a very suitable place for children to play (American and Mexican families with four or five children can be seen everywhere in the park; they are really fertile). Recommended activities include the daytime parade (there are so many people watching, it’s the first time I’ve seen more people than at the Great Wall and the Summer Palace, but it’s really well-organized), the evening water curtain show and the fireworks show in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle (Figure 3), “It’s a Small World”, etc.; recommended Adventure activities include the Frozen Opera (a perfect combination of performance and stage animation special effects, the live experience is amazing), Radiator Springs Racers (mountain off-road), Soaring Around the World (a simulated flight over attractions around the world, including the Great Wall), Mickey’s Fun Wheel (a swinging Ferris wheel, the cabin slides along the track as the altitude rises, Figure 4), etc.; personally, I feel that the former focuses on performances and taking pictures, while the latter focuses on fun and excitement. Overall, LA Disneyland is a good place to plan a two-day trip, especially with a one-day, one-park package, especially since the Resort area has a longer duration. To avoid wasting time waiting in lines, buy a FastPass and download the official Disney app, which provides park maps, wait times, and photos taken during the park. While the food is unsurprisingly unpalatable and expensive, the bonus is that you can bring water and food into the park, which is highly recommended. This way, if you plan to complete all the attractions and leave at midnight, you won't have to worry about going hungry. Personally, while Disneyland isn't as fun as Universal Studios or as adventurous as Six Flags, it's still well worth the experience (I mostly recorded short videos and took fewer photos), especially if you're traveling with children (the park offers makeup and cosplay services). My experience was truly impressive, and I couldn't resist the strong management skills of Disney. It reminded me of Wang Yibo's claim that "Wanda's presence will keep Shanghai Disneyland from turning a profit for 20 years." How has he fulfilled his promise? I hope this brief guide can help friends who come to play in the future.

Disneyland California is also a must-see destination. It's split into two parks, and you can buy tickets for either or both. I recommend visiting each park daily to maximize your time. The scenery is stunning! The staff are incredibly helpful! It's a perfect place for the whole family.

Compared to Disneyland, Adventureland is the real playground for older kids. It features four main attractions, the first of which is Soar Over the Horizon. This ride involves sitting in a row and being suspended in mid-air. Before your eyes, you'll be transported to a 360-degree screen, truly immersing yourself in the world you see. Sights include the Great Wall of China, the Egyptian pyramids, the Eiffel Tower, the Sydney Opera House, and the African forests. From an airplane's perspective, you'll be able to experience the scenery from a bird's-eye view. Even visiting the locations in person is a rare experience. It's truly breathtaking and spectacular. And the lines aren't too long. Highly recommended!

Another attraction is the Incredibles roller coaster. This is the longest, most action-packed, and fastest roller coaster I've ever ridden. The line was endless, and it's the largest in the Adventure Park. It's not just a roller coaster, but a storyline, revolving around the Incredibles and their family trying to catch their invisible son, Jack-Jack. The whole experience is fantastic! Highly recommended! A must-do!

Another must-try attraction is the Guardians of the Galaxy-themed bungee jump. The entire Guardians of the Galaxy movie is recreated in the ups and downs. When the door opens, you'll find a battle scene, and after shaking up and down, another one. Surprisingly, when you reach the top floor and open the door, you'll see the real scene outside the entire area. It's really exciting~

The highlight was "Cars." The line started around 7 a.m. and took about two hours to get through. It was incredibly fun, but it was really fun. The track design and cars were exactly like the ones in the cartoon. I also recommend the live-action Frozen show; it was really good and a great place for the whole family to watch.

Other recommended games include Toy Story Shooter, a fantastic shooting game. Buzz Lightyear will even come to cheer you up while you're waiting in line, making for a much-needed stop! Another thumbs-up for this round of gameplay! Also, the water games at Grizzly Peak are a must-try, but don't expect to get as wet unless you have a full group of eight. It's best to go before sunset.

By Sister Baona |

Highly recommended, if you like exciting games, go! Although it can't be compared with the one in Orlando, it feels different!

By Jaraxxus |

We went in October 2017 and chose Adventureland over Disneyland because it had more exciting rides. I can't quite remember the names, but it had something like a rapids ride, a roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, and a bungee jump. There was also a particularly fun flight simulator. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Before your visit, you can download the Disneyland app, which allows you to locate attractions, make reservations for meals, and check wait times for each attraction. You can also purchase FASTPASSes and PhotoPasses from the app. FASTPASSes are very useful for cutting down on lines and getting through faster lanes. PhotoPasses allow you to download your photos online, which is also quite useful. The musical fountain fireworks show before closing in the evening was beautiful, but also very crowded, so if you want to see it, try to secure a good seat in advance. We arrived at opening and played until closing, using our FASTPASSes to enjoy nearly every attraction, some of which we even enjoyed two or three times.

By Serenity leads to far-reaching goals |

We started riding the roller coaster. I kept my eyes closed the whole time and felt very dizzy.

After I got off, my stomach started to feel uncomfortable. Then we went to ride the Ferris wheel, a basket that swings back and forth. After a while, tragedy struck. My stomach started to churn and I felt nauseous. Before the Ferris wheel even reached its highest point, I couldn't control it anymore and ended up throwing up.

This was the first time I felt what it meant to suffer for one’s own money.

Why am I vomiting? This shouldn't be the case. I was fine in Hong Kong two years ago. Is it jet lag? Or am I two years older? Or is my stomach not used to the American activities?

Just like that, we entered the park for 2 hours and then went back to the hotel to rest.

Later I heard from others that I should go to Disneyland first because the Adventure Park is so exciting.

By Sally wants to be a linguist |

It's very fun, although very tiring! It's generally more exciting than the Disneyland next door, and each ride is great. My favorite is the huge seat that shakes, like a giant swing.

Disney California Adventure, located right next to Disneyland, is a kind of "brother" of Disneyland. It offers a more thrilling experience than Disneyland, with many fun rides. Disney California Adventure's hours vary slightly daily, so be sure to check opening times online before your visit. It's best to arrive right at opening time to minimize lines and secure FastPasses for popular attractions. We arrived at 8:15 AM and found the line to be minimal. Having experienced the pain of waiting in line at Shanghai Disneyland, our mood immediately brightened.

Grizzly River Run is essentially the same as Shanghai Disney's Roaring Thunder Mountain rafting, but unlike the usual two- or three-hour lines, we arrived to find no one in line. We were so excited we felt like we'd made a killing, completely unaware that the high that day was only 22 degrees Celsius. We bravely embarked on the ride without any protection (there were no raincoats for sale). Afterward, we were all soaking wet from walking in the freezing wind, and the kids were shivering, so we quickly ran to the street store to find some clothes for them.

Soarin' Around the World is essentially the forerunner of Shanghai Disneyland's popular "Soarin' Around the Horizon." The only difference is that the Shanghai Disneyland ride ends in Shanghai, while this one ends in Los Angeles Disneyland, culminating in a dazzling nighttime fireworks display. The two rides offer essentially the same experience, with realistic 4D sound effects that make you feel like you're taking a helicopter tour of famous global destinations. This ride isn't the most popular here, and the wait times are generally 20-40 minutes, which isn't much compared to the three-hour wait in Shanghai.

Mickey's Fun Wheel is the park's crowning jewel, a stunning Ferris wheel recognizable in many travelogues as the giant Mickey Mouse head. Besides being photogenic, this Ferris wheel is also quite unique—its cabins are mobile! As the wheel rises, gravity forces the cabins to swing back and forth, creating a pendulum-like motion that feels like a swing. It's said that at its peak, the swing is about one-tenth the force of a pirate ship.

Many large-scale projects were suspended that day, and it felt like I only played Cars. Fortunately, I had caught up on the movie before coming. The town completely restored the scenes in the movie, very much like Route 66. The rest were small projects. The overall experience is three stars, which is really average.

Disneyland California is truly unique. Every restaurant has draft beers from breweries like Samuel Adams and Ballast Point. Unfortunately, I forgot my passport, so I could only eat meat and not drink. I didn't get a fast ticket for the Cars ride! I waited in line for 170 minutes, almost questioning my life. But after all, this is probably the most fun part of the park, right? I didn't want to get enough, so I went again while the crowds were low, and that was the end of my Disneyland trip.

By Honey Bug |

Part of Disneyland, California Adventure is perfect for young people who enjoy thrill rides. Besides driving, there's a direct bus service from Los Angeles International Airport. Ticket prices vary depending on whether you're visiting for a single or multiple days. Discounts are often available on the official website and at the park's ticket office. It's recommended to check the official website at the park entrance to choose the ticket that suits you best.

By Blue |

I personally think it's more fun than Disneyland. I like the rapids the most.

By Lazy Blue |

The projects in the adventure park are relatively exciting, and rafting is fun.

By Chen Chen |

Route 66 was pretty good, but the line was long. We waited for over an hour. We didn't dare to try the bungee jumping for half a day, but if you're brave enough, you should definitely give it a try! The fountain show at night was also pretty good, but like the fireworks, you need to go early to get a good spot.

By Jessi |

California Adventure is across from the main entrance of Disneyland. There weren't many lines this afternoon. Once inside, head straight to Hollywood Studios, where you'll find many Avengers superheroes!

By Traveling the world with a sword |

It was really thrilling. The elevator, swing, Ferris wheel and drag racing were all very exciting. 😂 Although I only played three of the projects in more than four hours (I waited in line for an hour and a half in the hot summer, I was really... naive. I didn't know there was a single-passenger channel). The roller coaster was closed, but each one was unforgettable.

Disneyland is divided into two parks: the traditional Disneyland and California Adventure. We bought a one-day ticket and after passing security, we had to choose a park to visit. Since we had experienced the traditional Disneyland in Shanghai, I decisively took (or kidnapped) Ye Xiaopang to the more exciting Adventure Park, while my friends chose the traditional park.

By Harlan0103 |

You can play for half a day in Disneyland. It is recommended to queue up early in the morning.

I've been to Disneyland in Shanghai before and compared it to this place. I think the one in Shanghai is more fun, but the atmosphere is definitely better in California.

I entered the park around 10 o'clock and was confused for half a day before I rode one roller coaster. The FP card here is different from the one in Shanghai. You have to go to a designated place to reserve it, instead of using a single machine to reserve multiple types. You can get one card every two hours, so if you plan your time wisely, you can basically ride everything in a day, unless you want to do all the smaller rides as well, which might put you on a tight schedule. You must try the turkey leg; it comes with hot sauce and is delicious. There's a small shop next to the Ferris wheel. Remember to bring your passport when you buy things; the staff will check your ID.

By Drift Bottle |

Compared to Tokyo and Hong Kong Disneyland, the facilities here are a bit dated. The California wildfires were raging the day we visited, and the sky completely changed color, with some dust drifting in. But that didn't dampen our enjoyment. Soarin' was fantastic. We played Toy's Story twice. Speaking of Disneyland, turkey legs are a must-mention; they're the only thing I can devour without worrying about my appearance. Also, this Disneyland is incredibly clean, and the parking lot is well-designed, so there's no congestion.

By Boring people |

There are not as many recreational projects as in the park, but the excitement is stronger than in the park.

By Bingying is on the road |

Compared to Disneyland across the street, the attractions here are more thrilling and more suitable for older children and adults. I've been here three times and always have a great time. The light and water show at night is amazing, much more beautiful than the fireworks at Disneyland.

By emma0321 |

Disney is a happy place, but it doesn't have many features and the price-performance ratio is average.

By Cher |

Although I have been to many theme parks around the world, I still prefer this one because each park has different ways of playing.

By Octavian |

The last stop of Disney around the world is all about the plot.

By Sticky carrot |

The Adventure Park doesn't have VIP tickets, but it does have a fast pass for popular rides. You insert your ticket into a machine and a fast pass comes out, telling you when you can return to enjoy the ride quickly, just like waiting in line at a restaurant. You can then go enjoy other rides first, but each ticket only redeems you one Fast Pass, and you can't apply for another until you've used up your Fast Pass. The main rides include the Ferris wheel, river rafting, roller coaster, bungee jumping, and race cars.

There will be a light show at nine o'clock in the evening. All projects will be suspended to make way for the light show. It will be held in the lake. Friends who want to watch it should line up in advance on the shore opposite the Mickey Ferris Wheel. That is the right seat.

By Bo |

The adventure park is more like the traditional amusement park in the movies of the 1960s and 1970s, with more exciting rides. I actually like this very much.

There are some roller coasters, immersive 4D movies, wobbly and scary Ferris wheels and so on.

By Ting |

Since I was alone, I asked the park staff to take a lot of photos. The whole day was definitely worth it!

We walked onto an attraction called Guardians of the Galaxy. I hadn't seen it mentioned in the guidebook, but seeing the long lines, I quickly grabbed a FastPass. The line stretched past 4:30 PM, suggesting it was another major attraction! We finally got to it at 4:30 PM, and even with our FastPass, we waited in line for ages. Only after we finished riding did we realize it was the legendary bungee jumping machine—an indoor, dark one! Highly recommended!!! It was incredibly exciting. If the line hadn't been so long, I would definitely have gone for a second ride.

Swinging Ferris Wheel: I hadn't planned on riding the Ferris wheel, but I heard that the swinging one would give me a sense of weightlessness and be quite exciting, so I went on one. It was really exciting, swinging from high above and overlooking Disneyland!

Enjoy the attractions and take photos along the way. When you see a character appear, line up to take a photo with them. At each stop, a dedicated photographer will take your photo. You can also hand them your phone or camera, and they'll take yours with yours. After they're done, they'll scan your photopass. If you have the Disney app, the photos will be directly available in the app for you to view at any time. If you like them, you can purchase a full set of photos for the entire day for $39. I wanted to buy them, but I didn't like the photos that much, so I didn't. Luckily, I did take the photos with my phone, and they turned out pretty good.

I was tired from playing in the afternoon and happened to catch the Frozen musical, so I went in to watch it, which lasted about an hour, and sat down to rest.

Those who enter at the last second when the gate closes can only sit on the side.

The plot is similar to the movie, the stage is beautiful, and the heroine sang my favorite song "Let it go", the effect was quite shocking!

After watching the parade and riding the Ferris wheel, we headed to the nearby fountain to wait for the World of Color show. We had gotten our tickets via FastPass this morning.

The fountains were beautiful, colorful, with music and a storyline. The only problem was that the temperature difference between morning and evening in LA was so great that even in my short-sleeved shirt I was freezing.

The park is not big and the equipment seems a bit old.

Very fun! Disney is suitable for children, and Adventure is more suitable for adults. I must recommend it!

1. [Disney World View] There are currently five Disney resorts worldwide (note: they're resorts; the difference between resorts and parks will be explained below!!): Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando (located in Orlando, Florida, USA); Disneyland Resort in Los Angeles (located in Los Angeles, California, USA); Disneyland Paris Resort (located in Paris, France); Tokyo Disneyland Resort (located in Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo, Japan); and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (located in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China). It's no secret that Hong Kong Disneyland Resort simply can't meet the needs of China's large population. Disney executives seem to have spotted the lucrative mainland Chinese market and are rapidly building the world's sixth Disney resort in Shanghai, slated to open by the end of 2015. However, don't get your hopes up for two reasons: First, do you think everyone at the World Expo went to the shit?! Did you see the spectacle of the World Expo?! Shanghai Disneyland will be even more terrifying! Second, rumor has it that the team behind Shanghai Disneyland is the same team behind Hong Kong Disneyland. As everyone knows, and I'm not being overly Western, Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest in the world (and don't tell me it's the newest one, opened in 2006, so it must be the smallest!). If it were smaller, it would be cheaper! Hong Kong Disneyland has the lowest value for money among the five existing Disney parks... So don't get your hopes up too much about Shanghai, but it's still worth a visit. There are still two years left, so let's wait and see!

Adventureland is divided into eight zones, each with its own unique features or star rides. So, when introducing them, I'll highlight the ones I think are the most worthwhile. Watch out, everyone! :) The objective time for visiting Adventureland is 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which is perfectly sufficient. A FAST-PASS is a ticket you pick up in advance and use a few hours later. For example, if you want to ride a roller coaster, you can go to the fast-pass pick-up point at 10:00 AM and use your ticket (make sure you use it, don't throw it away, or you won't be able to pick it up!). Your ticket will then be marked with your return time, such as 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. If you return during this time, you can queue for the fast-pass, saving at least half your time.

Disneyland in the United States consists of two parks: Disneyland and California Adventure. Walt Disney arrived in Los Angeles in 1903 with nothing but a suitcase, $40, and his own Mickey Mouse creation. California Adventure was built to reflect the setting of that era. While there are many Disney parks around the world, California Adventure is unique to Los Angeles, and its Disney influence is pervasive. High above California, Aladdin, and Cars are particularly recommended. Of course, the evening water show, covering an area the size of two football fields, features fountains that shoot 17 meters high. The surrounding roller coasters and Ferris wheels serve as the backdrop for the water show, featuring classic Disney animations and music. It's a truly memorable experience and shouldn't be missed.

It's worth a visit. The first time I went there, I signed up for a tour group on Haixing Online. It was not a holiday, so there were a lot of people. I suggest that friends who want to go there can first look at what projects they want to play, and then play the ones they like after entering, otherwise they will have to wait in line for too long.

This Disney is not big and is quite old, but the road show is quite classic and the performance is authentic. I was also given a FP by the kind staff at the service desk.

Los Angeles has two Disney parks and one Universal Studios. One is Disney California Adventure, while the other is just regular Disneyland. As the name suggests, Adventure Park boasts thrilling rides like roller coasters, bungee jumping, and rapids. But since it's Disneyland, the thrills aren't as intense as Happy Valley, so children can still enjoy it. Adventure Park is incredibly lively at night!

Suitable for all ages, there are very fun roller coasters and bungee jumping machines, highly recommended!

This park is recommended for older children and adults who like Disney and amusement parks. It is more fun than Disneyland.

We lined up at the door at 9 o'clock, and they didn't let us in until 9:30.

I bought the tickets from Taobao, had them mailed to my home, and brought them to the U.S. I got a Chinese map after entering.

The Adventure Park, newly built in 2002, is more suitable for adults and teenagers. The most noteworthy attractions include the roller coaster, the Ferris wheel, the Cars ride, the scary elevator, the river rafting ride, and the high-flying school in the sky. As for the Frozen show, it was basically just two adults watching a movie together, which was not very interesting.

The Adventure Park was incredibly crowded, and the longest line was for the race car ride. Disney doesn't offer frontline tickets, but you can get a Fast Pass. You can only get one per hour, and a maximum of three passes per person. The map clearly indicates which attractions are eligible for Fast Passes. Once you've got your pass, you can use the Fast Pass at the designated time to avoid the crowds.

The recommended order is as follows:

Because Cars has the most people, as soon as you enter the park, go get the Cars Fast Card first.

Then, we queued for the elevator ride, which offered a free-fall and weight-loss experience. At the top, the doors opened, letting you peek outside before you swipe down. The elevator ride was packed with people, so you didn't need a FastCard.

After the elevator ride, I quickly headed back to the race cars. They're very close together. After playing both, it was almost time to go eat. The turkey legs and hot dogs at the entrance to the Frozen Pavilion were both delicious.

Next, we headed to the Ferris wheel park. You didn't need a FAST pass for the roller coaster, as three cars were on the wheel at once, each with 24 people. You can imagine the roller coaster track must be very long, with a perfect loop in the middle. There was a carousel nearby, but it was rarely used. The Ferris wheel was also nearby, only a few minutes' walk away, so we didn't have a FAST pass. We also walked up to the rafting and got on.

Just a reminder: bring a raincoat and shoe covers when rafting. Some people get drenched in water while surfing, but others, if they're lucky, may be fine.

Since we went on a Monday, it seemed quite crowded in the morning, but once we got to the roller coaster, it felt much less crowded.

After playing around, you can use the remaining two chances, choose the one you like, and quickly get the fast card.

The park occasionally has outdoor performances featuring various Disney characters, and cartoon characters occasionally appear to sign autographs and take photos. We got Olaf's autograph.

I like the airplane experience inside, it is very real and touching

Disney Adventures is across from Disneyland, and the two can be connected by train. However, time is often tight, so I usually only visit one park in a day. The most famous attraction is the race cars. The first half was a leisurely stroll through the various toy cars from the Cars film franchise, but then the traffic jam hit. While it was absolutely safe, it was still a bit scary. Of course, roller coaster fans will find this a piece of cake. There's also the classic roller coaster, but I didn't dare try it. Instead, the chairlift and mermaid rides were more childish and enjoyable, both emotional and not thrilling.

As the older version of Disney, it is more suitable for adults to play compared to Disney. There are some relatively exciting projects. Hollywood Tower and roller coaster are highly recommended.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are two parks, located opposite each other. California Adventure is more exciting and suitable for adults. If you like excitement, you can choose this park, which has roller coasters, etc.

By willandbella |

The first time I went there was in 2009. It is not suitable for families with children; but students, young people and adventurous adults can go and try the speed and passion!

By AM_CECILIA |

Disney California Adventure Park is located about 30 miles from the airport, a 20-30 minute drive. Parking is available near the park for a fee, approximately $18 per day per car. Like Universal Studios, we didn't purchase tickets in advance, but bought them upon arrival. The souvenirs at Disneyland are much higher quality than at Universal Studios, so don't miss out on the souvenir shop.

Disney California Adventure Park is mainly divided into six areas: Condor Flats, Grizzly Peak, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf, "a bug's land", Cars Land, Buena Vista Street & Hollywood Land. Specially recommended attractions are as follows: (1) Grizzly River Run in Grizzly Peak area: rafting rubber boats; (2) California Screamin' in Paradise Pier area: high-speed roller coaster; (3) Mickey's Fun Wheel in Paradise Pier area: Mickey's giant Ferris wheel; (4) Goofy's Sky School in Paradise Pier area: a small roller coaster that looks a bit like a crazy mouse; (5) Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land area: a car roller coaster; (6) The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Hollywood Land area: a bungee jumping machine.

As the granddaddy of Disney, Disneyland California won't disappoint those seeking retro charm. However, if you're looking for gifts NOT Made in China, aside from freshly prepared food, you're likely to be disappointed.

Disneyland in Los Angeles has two main parks: The Grand Park and the Adventure Park. People usually buy a pass for both. I've always bought a single-park ticket. My first and second visits were to the Grand Park, and my third was to the Adventure Park. The parade at the Grand Park is truly amazing. The rides in the Adventure Park are also fantastic, like the bungee jumping and rapids ride. I loved them!

Maybe it was Thanksgiving, so there weren't many people there. I expected to wait in line for ages, but I ended up riding everything before 2:00 AM. The Ferris wheel was amazing, exceeding my expectations. Overall, it was fantastic, absolutely fantastic, absolutely must go, absolutely, absolutely, absolutely recommend.

By dimension |

Not good. I went in right after the gate opened. The roller coaster wasn't open yet, so I turned right after entering and got a fast pass for California Scenic and then went on the rapids. It was okay, but the ride got less enjoyable the more I went. The roller coaster was malfunctioning, and the crowds kept getting bigger and bigger. The fast pass for the new Western Racing was hard to find, and once I got it, I realized it was only valid the next day. The parade was nice, but there were few activities for adults. Some of the facilities on the Chinese and Korean maps were out of date.

It is said that Disneyland is in Los Angeles, but in fact Disneyland is in Anaheim, a small town near Los Angeles.

By Youyou@home |

To fulfill my daughter's wish for a photo with Elsa and Anna, we bought one-day tickets to both parks. It was worth it. California Adventure's "Soaring Over California" ride was so amazing we rode it twice, and the evening water show "The World of Color" was also fantastic. Even though we'd been to Hong Kong Disneyland several times before and hadn't tried many of the same rides, a one-day trip to both parks was too much, so we recommend a two-day trip.

There's really nothing much to say about this. If you go to the United States, especially to Los Angeles, this is a must-see.

The attractions mentioned in the above itinerary
