Before I came here, I had no idea that Lake Powell was actually a man-made lake. It's truly rare to find such clear water in such an arid area.

The landscape for hundreds of kilometers around here is probably like this, with this unique red rock. Any corner of the shore of Lake Powell is a good place to enjoy the sunset.

This color is not inferior to the Grand Canyon.

Lake Powell, located on the border of Arizona and Utah, is the second-largest man-made lake/reservoir in the United States. Formed by the Glen Canyon Dam, it lies within Glen Canyon National Monument and forms part of the Colorado River. Although artificially carved, Lake Powell seamlessly blends into the natural canyon. Morning sunlight streams down the tranquil surface, creating shimmering waves that contrast beautifully with the sun-kissed mountain gorge.

Lake Powell was formed by the construction of the Glendale Dam on the site of an existing lake. It is the second largest artificial lake in the United States. Our bus passed over the Glendale Dam Bridge. After we got off the bridge, our tour guide asked the driver to stop so we could admire the beautiful lake. Actually, we shouldn't have stopped here to admire it. One of the rear tires on the bus had flat tires, and we needed to discuss a solution, as no one works on weekends in the United States.

It is very good to provide a shuttle for tourists. The boat trip is about an hour long. It is recommended to prepare a coat when the weather is cold, as the wind on the lake is quite strong.

This is actually a camping site. You can set up your tent on the beach by the water and see many RVs parked by the water. This composition makes me curious about what it’s like to travel in an RV. There are few people and the scenery is beautiful, and then I can’t help but want to have fun on the beach.

Lake Powell on the last day of 2018 was cold and desolate... I didn't take a boat tour, but I thought it would be a beautiful view shrouded in clouds and mist.

By fanfanstefanie |

When driving, you can see a pool of blue at the end of the road from a distance. It is very beautiful. It is refreshing to see such a lake in the west of a yellow barren land. There are many children visiting the visitor center. You can visit here and enter the bottom of the dam.

A beautiful artificial lake on the Colorado River, right next to the town of Page.

It is as beautiful as the calendars I saw when I was a child, and it also gives me a feeling of peace and tranquility.

By Lin Xiaoqiu |

From the top, the view of the emerald sandstone canyon against the backdrop of blue skies and white clouds was truly captivating. If you're interested in a boat tour, there are packages available upon entrance, including a boat tour. A closer look at Lake Powell isn't particularly stunning on its own, but the contrast with the sandstone canyon makes its Colorado character stand out.

Lake Powell is the second largest artificial lake in the United States.

It must be beautiful if you go deep into it

By Li Yanyi |

I didn't go to the lake, I drove directly to the overlook, it was great! I didn't expect the artificial lake to be so blue! And it was so relaxing to sit quietly on the rocks.

I only have this photo saved on my phone, but the real view is amazing! It's better than the photo! If it's a sunny day, you must go if you have time!

By Shell Shell |

I have to say Lake Powell is incredibly beautiful! Second only to the Grand Canyon! Such a gentle lake surface. Just take a picture and it's a screensaver, no need for photo editing at all.

Annual National Park passes are available! It's a 2.5-hour drive from Bryce, arriving around 4:00 PM. Parking is free at the observation deck (36.968653 -111.499173). The walk from the observation deck to the lake takes about 20 minutes, and I spotted five or six hares. Stopping and walking, I took in the lake's beauty. Lake Powell, from a bird's-eye view, is incredibly green!

Lake Powell is a captivating place. Last time I was there, I spent an entire afternoon sitting facing the lake. Every time I see this expanse of blue, I find myself suddenly at peace. If you'd rather avoid the crowds of Antelope Canyon, I highly recommend sitting there for a while. Due to the drought, the water level has steadily dropped, making this sliver of blue even more precious amidst the surrounding canyons and rock formations. Sitting on a bench, under the azure sky and tranquil water, you're greeted by the vast expanse of the lake and the deep canyon. Time freezes in this moment. Despite peak tourist season, there are surprisingly few tourists here, leaving no room for interruptions. Perhaps this is what they call a peaceful and tranquil life.

Lake Powell offers a variety of water sports, including boating and kayaking. A recommended first stop is the Lake Powell Visitor Center, which features extensive photos and videos to help you learn more about the resort. Best of all, the center's large, transparent glass walls offer stunning views of the dam, bridge, and Lake Powell.

By Paper cat towel |

I had low expectations for this lake, but upon arrival, I discovered a world beyond compare. The brilliant sunshine, the earthy yellow rocky plains, and the azure blue sky made this seemingly ordinary lake feel like another desert world. Lake Powell, about a 15-minute drive from Page, is a free attraction. Upon reaching it, you'll pass Glen Canyon Dam, the very structure that formed the lake. On either side of the dam, you can imagine the depth of the lake, with a hundred-meter cliff on one side and water already flooding the shore on the other.

Lake Powell is one of the few lakes near Page, and many locals come here for water activities and yachting. There are also hotels and boat landing areas near the lake. You might be surprised where these yachts and sailboats come from, but a quick look along the roadside reveals that many arrive in their own RVs, towing their yachts. It's a testament to how Americans know how to have fun.

The lake itself is quite large, with RV campgrounds and hotels on the west side. There's also a beach near the hotel for swimming. Driving only takes you a short distance. If you have time, you can even take a boat to Glen Canyon National Park to fully experience the beauty of the canyon lake.

We drove to Lake Powell Park. The driveway was simple, paved along the lakefront. The azure waters contrasted sharply with the red rocks on the shore. In the distance, pleasure boats crisscrossed the lake, and a boat tour of both banks was a common activity. However, the boats needed to be booked in advance, and the tours typically lasted at least 3-4 hours. There was a beach near the lake where you could play in the water.

If you're visiting Lake Powell without a lake cruise, then Wahweap Bay is the best option. There are two entrances to the scenic route from Highway 89. Both entrances have ticket gates a short distance from each entrance. Simply present your purchased National Parks annual pass and passport to proceed.

The landforms along the lake bay are layers of shale with clear textures and horizontal distribution. There are several places to stop and take photos along the viewing route.

As we continued walking, the bay became wider and the water was blue-green, very beautiful.

In an area full of yellow sand and gravel, there is a lakeside that was created entirely by damming the water. In fact, similar to Qiandao Lake, it is an artificial reservoir.

Suddenly, I heard the roar of motors. It turned out to be speedboats racing here. There were also helicopters in the sky guiding and filming.

The speedboat glided across the calm water, creating waves.

The speedboats chasing each other on the lake drew graceful arcs.

The hills along the lakeshore provide a beautiful backdrop. The docks on the lake are filled with yachts. This is a popular gathering place for water enthusiasts, many of whom arrive by car towing their own yachts.

By Ethan |

The walk from the visitor center to the boat dock is quite long, but the scenery is truly breathtaking. Take some photos while waiting for the boat. Its beauty is something you have to experience for yourself. An Indian guide will explain the boat, and those with good English can learn about the origins of Lake Powell. The tour of Lake Powell takes about an hour, and including waiting time and taking photos, it's about three hours, so plan your time wisely.

By The rain keeps falling |

Powell Lake is an artificial lake. Although it is a lake, the color of the water is as blue as the sea. Maybe it is because the sky is too blue?

By PETER |

The morning sun shines on the water, sparkling and beautiful.

Only by boating on the blue waters of Lake Powell can you experience the beauty of the mountains and the tenderness of the water.

The audio guide, available in multiple languages, not only describes the scenery but also highlights Lake Powell's role in power generation, water supply, and farm irrigation. The guide also highlights the three chimneys on Lake Powell, a landmark of the Antelope Valley. The power plant beneath them, the Navajo Generating Station, along with Hoover Dam and Glen Canyon Dam, ensures electricity supply to the western states. Lake Powell is also a massive reservoir, capable of providing water to the western states for a hundred years.

By Rachel Rach |

This is truly the most beautiful lake I've ever seen. It's actually quite large! It covers 65,000 hectares, more than twice the size of Lake Mead. The scenic area boasts not only magnificent cliffs, abundant sandstone formations, but also the vibrant colors of the water—it's truly captivating.

Here you can take a boat tour of the lake, kayak and stand-up paddleboard (SUP), or drive to the shore to enjoy the scenery. It's another place where you can easily create a great photo!

Due to the unique terrain, there are many twists and turns here. Each turn offers a different view. I saw quite a few people kayaking and SUPing along the way, which was quite challenging in the scorching heat. Kai said kayaking would probably take two or three hours, but I think it would be fun to try it when it's a little cooler.

After passing the Glen Canyon Dam from PAGE, you will find the Carl Hayden Visitor Center and the park entrance. From the high ground on the shore, you can overlook Lake Powell and walk all the way to Wahweap Campground and the dock. The road is newly built and very easy to walk. This area belongs to the national park and you need to buy a ticket, which is $20. I personally think it is well worth it.

By xi-xi |

It's a 15-minute drive from Horseshoe Bend to Lake Powell. If you type "Lake Powell" directly into your navigation, you'll be directed to the visitor center, which offers a view of the dam. However, to see the view of Lake Powell in the photos, you'll need to navigate to the observation deck.

Observation deck coordinates: 36.968653 -111.499173, free parking

Lake Powell is actually most beautiful when the sun sets. It was sunset when we arrived, but it was cloudy and we didn’t see the sun.

By Photographer YING_Z |

There are not many people in Lake Powell in winter, even the ticket checkpoint is empty. If you come here in summer, you will need to buy a ticket. You can use the national park annual pass here.

We found a harbor and looked around. There were all kinds of wild ducks around. We took some broken biscuits and old bread to feed them. We could get very close and let the kids see the animals.

Our second stop in Page was Lake Powell, known as the "most beautiful man-made lake," formed by the construction of the Glendale Dam on the Colorado River. Its crystal-clear waters are a brilliant blue, blending seamlessly with the surrounding red sandstone, creating a breathtakingly beautiful landscape.

By Wisteria Swing |

Lake Powell is so beautiful and peaceful, it feels like time has passed. Highly recommended.

You can use the National Park Annual Pass to enter. It is very close to the Lake Powell Dam. Search for the Lake Powell Visitor Center on the navigation.

It is best to visit Lake Powell at sunset. It is not that sunrise and sunset are always the best photography light, but because you may find Lake Powell dull when the sun is directly overhead.

Lake Powell, named in honor of the first American to raft down the river and propose its development, is over twice the size of Lake Mead. Its scenery, featuring a variety of red sandstone formations, arches, canyons, and turquoise waters, far surpasses Lake Mead and has become a major national resort in the American Southwest. While the creation of Lake Powell began in 1956 with the construction of Glen Canyon Dam, its full completion wasn't achieved until 1980, when water from the Colorado, San Juan, and Escalante rivers was diverted.

In the movie "Gravity", the final landing site was filmed at Lake Powell, but the scenery by the lake was almost entirely computer-generated, which is very different from the desert scenery around Lake Powell.

Named after explorer General John Wesley Powell, this lake is not entirely natural but is now the second largest artificial lake in the United States. It covers an area of 65,000 hectares, stretches 300 kilometers, has a 3,500-kilometer coastline, and reaches a maximum depth of 170 meters. In 1972, it became a U.S. National Aquatic Recreation Center and welcomes over 3 million visitors annually.

Most Chinese tourists (including us) visiting Powell, due to tight schedules, simply visit the lake, snap a few photos, and then leave. To truly understand and experience Lake Powell's beauty, take a cruise around the entire lake. Sailing amidst the clear water, blue sky, and red earth must be a truly beautiful experience.

The most convenient way to appreciate the beauty of Lake Powell is on a boat tour. Spending a few hours or even days, you can leisurely cruise through the winding, ever-changing waterways, adorned and adorned with red and white rock formations of various shapes. Witness this masterpiece of nature and enjoy the stunning scenery. Chinese audio guides are provided free of charge on the boats, so you can take them with you.

Lake Powell was a completely unexpected attraction. I'd seen it mentioned in travel guides as the second-largest artificial lake in the United States, and I immediately lost interest. I figured a man-made lake couldn't possibly be that beautiful, especially since I'd already seen so many stunning plateau lakes in China, like Qinghai Lake, Kanas Lake, Yamdrok Yumco, and Namtso Lake. This artificial lake wouldn't wow me again. But my fellow hikers insisted on going to Lake Powell, citing two compelling reasons: first, the ticket price was cheap, only $10; and second, it was right on the way to Antelope Canyon. There was no reason to say no, so I went anyway.

Our car was driving through the desolate Gobi desert when we suddenly spotted a vast expanse of blue in the distance. Like a blue jewel embedded in the wilderness, it instantly brought a glimmer of hope to the lifeless Gobi desert and a refreshing coolness to the scorching heat! Even before we got up close and personal, my first impression of Lake Powell was already stunning!

As I approached, I felt its extraordinary beauty grow. Objectively speaking, the lake itself isn't stunning, and can't even compare to the mystical, lofty lakes of Yamdrok Lake and Namtso Lake. But it's truly extraordinary. Whether it's Yamdrok Lake, Namtso Lake, or Qinghai Lake, they're all sacred, lofty, and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. That's why those plateau lakes often give people a sense of "coldness." Lake Powell, however, is different. It's a lake carved out of the Gobi Desert. Its waters are azure and tranquil, while crimson mountains drift across its surface, surrounded by fiery red sandstone. Lake Powell evokes a blend of warmth and coolness, like a majestic "Game of Thrones"—sometimes soaring and stirring, sometimes deep and gentle, its lingering echoes lingering in the air.

While the park is beautiful, it also offers a wealth of recreational activities. Boat tours are available, and sailing through the desert canyon on the water is a unique experience. There are also barbecue areas by the lake, perfect for family barbecues. Hotels within the park also offer accommodation and dining options, making it a must-see destination!

From afar, in the early morning sunshine, it is quietly surrounded by the desolate desert and red sandstone canyon, shining like a sapphire lost in the desert.

Lake Powell is the largest artificial lake in the United States. It is also the filming location of the heroine's final landing point in the Hollywood blockbuster "Gravity". It is a gem created by both man and nature.

The lake cruise is truly the best option, bar none. It's truly enjoyable, though it would be even better in the summer. We went in late October, so we definitely needed to wrap up warm. However, we still thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery was more diverse and expansive than what we saw at the Grand Canyon, and it was truly relaxing. I was personally very satisfied. Of course, there are many different boat tours available, so choose your favorite one based on your time of year. I think they're all excellent.

Lake Powell is actually a national park. Since it was already past five and the sun was about to set, I regretted not visiting Lake Powell Park and could only admire it from afar. Lake Powell is actually a man-made lake, a turquoise water surrounding the red rocks. There's no vegetation, just pure stone and water, a pure beauty. There's a bridge next to it, and next to it is the Glen Canyon Dam Visitor Center. You can park here and walk to admire the scenery from afar. The dam spans the lake, with natural rocks and icy water on one side and a man-made iron bridge and utility poles on the other. The scenery is particularly vivid against the backdrop of the distant desert. Human ingenuity has transformed this land and created this unique beauty. The next morning, we set off along Highway 89, and we could see Lake Powell from afar, a beautiful lake view from the wheel.

A very beautiful artificial lake. Many Americans play yachts there, where you can feel the leisurely life of Americans.

There are two most common types of boat tours:

Antelope Canyon Tour

Canyon Adventure Boat Tour

the difference:

The Antelope Canyon Tour has 3 attractions; the Canyoneering Tour has 2 more, for a total of 5 attractions;

The canyoneering tour takes longer, about 2 hours; the Antelope Canyon tour is about 1.5 hours.

Honest advice: Young people should skip the boat tour and opt for a stroll along Lake Powell. If you really want to go, I recommend booking a tour to Antelope Canyon, but many tours are chartered by travel agencies, making reservations difficult. For the wealthy, charter a yacht.

By Kidd_Hsu |

There is a roadside at both ends of the bridge where you can temporarily park, allowing tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides.

There are barren mountains on one side and a lake on the other, and across the bridge is another world.

You can drive all the way down the road to the dam, but we think the light here is just right.

A one-and-a-half-hour boat trip on Lake Powell was a truly relaxing experience. The warm lake breeze caressed my cheeks under the sun. Antelope Canyon twists and turns, and every turn reveals a new scene. The rocks surrounding the canyon, weathered by years of water and the lake's erosion, reveal layered textures, like a thick book waiting to be read.

Lake Powell offers a variety of tours. If you want to take in more than just the natural scenery, you'll need a 200mm+ lens to capture the lake's main attractions. Castle Rock might look familiar; it's Mount Sinai, featured in "The Ten Commandments." For pure immersion, the Canyon Adventure Boat Tour is highly recommended, allowing you to experience the narrow waterways.

If you have more time, you can consider hiking in the wild:
Rainbow Bridge (tour available)

There is also a special helicopter tour that lands on Tower Butte, which also gives you the best angle to photograph the canyon.

Lake Powell, the second-largest man-made lake in the United States, is a vast blue lake formed by the damming of the Colorado River. It boasts 96 canyons. We took a boat tour through the lake, deep into the narrow Antelope Canyon. Everyone was amazed by the boat's tight embrace of the cliffs, weaving through the winding canyon like a miniature version of the Three Gorges. Lake Powell, located upstream of the Grand Canyon, boasts even more stunning scenery than Lake Mead, upstream of Hoover Dam, perhaps due to the more varied terrain. The azure blue lake nestled amidst the vibrant red rocks is truly breathtaking, a sight so breathtaking that words cannot express it. Its breathtaking beauty has been featured in numerous Hollywood films.

Lake Powell, five-star recommendation! You must go! When we arrived at the visitor center, the heat was so intense I could barely walk. We walked down from the visitor center to the rental office. The scorching sun drained me dry. The staff at the rental office told us the only available activities were kayaking (I firmly said no!). You expect me to paddle in the lake in this heat? It's going to kill me! The jet skis and motorboats were all gone, and the wait was at least two hours. My husband wanted to go back to the hotel, but he didn't think a two-hour wait was worth it. I insisted and asked him to take our son to lunch while I waited at the rental counter for the next jet ski. Luckily, one of the jet skis returned an hour early, and the three of us happily set off towards the center of the lake. Honestly, it was my first time truly motorboating, and on a breathtakingly beautiful, tranquil lake with the majestic Grand Canyon on both sides. It was an incredible experience.

The Antelope Canyon tour ended much earlier than expected this morning. It was not yet time for lunch and we had nowhere to go, so we went to the nearby Lake Powell Visitor Center to kill time. It was very close and we could just turn a corner to get there.

Not only is the environment beautiful, but the visitor center has a huge, impressive lobby, filled with photos and videos, air conditioning for cooling off, and a giant glass wall offering stunning views of the dam, bridge, and Lake Powell. Even better, it's free, making it much more accessible than the crappy Antelope Canyon.

After using the air conditioner, sending WeChat messages, going to the toilet, and continuing on the road!!!

Anyway, it is free to visit, and if you have enough time with your children, you can go in and take a look. If you are in a hurry, you can pass this attraction.

By Rice sauce |

First, head to the Page Visitor Center, which offers detailed information about Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon. Visitors can also get a souvenir stamp featuring Rainbow Bridge, Lake Powell, and other attractions. If you have more time, take a cruise around Lake Powell (with its vibrant red sandstone formations, arches, canyons, and turquoise waters, making it a major national resort in the American Southwest) to fully appreciate the stunning scenery.

I recommend visiting at dusk; it has a noble, languid beauty. It's not easy for those in the desert, with so little water and rivers, they treat this place like a beach. Next time, I'll definitely tow my own boat and camp on the lake!!!

Lake Powell, located in Colorado and Utah, was formed by the construction of Glenn Dam on the Colorado River. It is the second largest artificial lake in the United States and is named after explorer General John Wesley Powell.

There is also a fee here, but because it is National Park Week, we have free tickets.

Lake Powell is 299 kilometers long, with 3,058 kilometers of shoreline. It was the setting for the film "Gravity." Although a man-made lake formed by a dam, its beauty is unreal, like a sapphire in the desert, profound and tranquil. The best way to explore it is by boat, which requires reservations online. We didn't do much research before our trip, and when we arrived at the lake, it was deserted, so we just sat by the dock 📷 and quietly enjoyed its beauty.

Lake Powell is a five-minute drive from downtown Page. The entrance fee is $5 per car. If the toll booth is closed, you can simply drive through. This artificial lake, formed by the flow of water from multiple rivers, is unique in that it features red sandstone formations within the lake. Located near Antelope Canyon, the lake's topography closely resembles that of the former. Enjoy a cruise on the lake and soak in the stunning views of the Antelope Canyon. Reservations for lake cruises can be made at the front desk of the Lake Powell Resorts & Marina. The marina is conveniently located directly below the hotel.

Lake Powell, also part of the National Park, is the second-largest man-made lake in the United States. The scenic area boasts a variety of rock formations. Due to time constraints, we took a quick drive along the main road. Since it was early in the morning, there were few people, and the scenery was particularly beautiful. The emerald green waters, against the blue sky and white clouds, and the canyon in the distance, created a truly unique scene! If you had more time, you could have spent the entire day just sitting by the lake, enjoying the breeze.

For the first time, I saw red rocks surrounding the lake instead of green trees and green hills. There were houseboats moored on the lake; some Americans who come here for vacation live on their boats. There's a restaurant overlooking the lake with floor-to-ceiling windows. It was a pleasant experience to have breakfast while gazing at the lake view.

This lake is very beautiful, a bit like the salt lake in western China. There is a small path next to it that leads down to the lake.

The lake itself is quite ordinary and there is nothing fun in the park. We stayed in the RV campground inside, so we watched a sunrise by the lake in the morning, which was quite nice.

After driving past the Gran Dam and continuing north, there is a resort with a viewing point nearby.

It takes 20 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the lake. Be careful of sunburn and heatstroke. Bring plenty of water. I had a little heatstroke.

Lake Powell, located in Colorado and Utah, was formed by the construction of Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River. It is the second-largest artificial lake in the United States and is named after explorer General John Wesley Powell. Lake Powell is 299 kilometers long and has 3,058 kilometers of shoreline. It is divided into South Lake Powell and North Lake Powell. Many famous attractions are located nearby, including Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Glen Canyon Dam, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon in Page. Lake Powell boat tours open at 8:00 AM. Thanks to our helpful guide, we entered the area before opening, allowing us to admire the photogenic waters without other tourists. Our group's short, one-hour boat trip slowly sailed from the vast lake to the center of the canyon. We were the only boat in the area, and the lake was as calm as a mirror, with only the ripples from our boat revealing our progress. Because it was the dry season, we drove into the canyon for a while and then reached the end. In fact, there are many places to visit in Lake Powell. If you drive here by yourself, it should be more fun.

Lake Powell was named in honor of the first American who rafted the river and proposed the development of water conservancy.

Its area is more than twice that of Lake Mead, with various red sandstones, stone arches, canyons and blue waves. Its scenery far surpasses Lake Mead and has become a major national resort area in the southwestern United States.

Lake Powell, a natural reservoir winding between Arizona and Utah, is also a prime example of the West's water crisis. As of April 2015, Lake Powell's water storage capacity was only 42% of its normal level. Our annual pass includes access to Lake Powell National Park, but here are some free roadside photos we took. It's just a ten-minute drive from Page along Highway 89.

Lake Powell is one of the world's largest artificial lakes. Glen Canyon, where it's located, is a U.S. National Recreation Area (a level below a national park), making it a great place for a vacation. I didn't do a full tour, but I hope to return. I heard the boat tours are fantastic.

It's very beautiful. If you have time, you can arrange a sunrise or sunset. Time will stand still there.

I've been there twice and I want to go again. The scenery is incredible, what else can I say? Just pack your bags and go.

It's so beautiful that I'm at a loss for words. I believe it will be even more beautiful in the summer.

Lake Powell, located on the border of Utah and Arizona, is the second-largest man-made lake in the United States. Named after explorer General John Wesley Powell, it covers 65,000 hectares, is 170 meters deep, and is 300 kilometers long. Its banks are lined with a variety of red sandstone formations, arches, and canyons, offering scenery far superior to Lake Mead and making it a popular vacation destination in the Southwest. Lake Powell National Park offers accommodations and restaurants, and guests can rent a boat or embark on a cruise to explore the entire lake.

Lake Powell is not very popular in China. If you have the opportunity, you must stay here for a night, sit by the lake, enjoy the beautiful scenery and eat delicious food.

Overall, compared to seeing Lake Powell from the cliff, the sunlight reflecting off the lake from the cliff is much more beautiful than up close! Although the local boat tour is still good, with multi-lingual translation systems explaining to us all the time, I still accidentally fell asleep.

I hadn't planned to go, but Page is small, with only a few attractions nearby. It wasn't far, so I drove over. I was a bit surprised to see how beautiful the artificial lake, created by a dam, was.

It's a very beautiful place, suitable for leisure and vacation. Boating in the blue lake makes me recall the time when I sat quietly by the lake.
