The Ocean World is quite large and is most famous for its various marine animal shows.

1. Orca Encounter

This is the signature show here, only running daily. Missing it would be a real shame. Actually, it's not really a show, strictly speaking. More accurately, it's a display of killer whale behavior. Through large screens, a host's introduction, and live demonstrations of the killer whales, visitors can learn about these fascinating creatures while also learning about conservation. Despite the many changes, the show remains incredibly exciting. A word of caution: if you don't want to get wet, remember to bring a raincoat (you can buy one on-site for $10) or sit a little further away.

There are many killer whales here, and besides participating in performances, some also offer lunch with visitors. Lunch with the killer whales requires advance reservations online or through an agent. Enjoy lunch right beside the killer whales' large pool, watching them swim around and occasionally jump out of the water.

2. Dolphin Show

This show has two shows a day. In addition to many cute dolphins, there is also a pilot whale show. I won't spoil the show content too much, but as a warm reminder, be careful not to get wet, and the fourth row and above are safe distances.

3. Sea Lion Show

There are also two sea lion shows a day (12:30/16:30), and there will be cute otter friends performing, and there is a super handsome and versatile little brother to host. You can also buy small fish to feed the sea lions here, 6 dollars a piece.

4. Pet Rule

There is only one show every day (13:45), and according to the description, it is a show participated by dogs, cats, pigs and birds.

5. Ocean Rescue

There are three shows a day (12:45, 14:00, and 15:45) in the theater, showing films about ocean rescue. Many American parents take their children to watch it, as it is very educational.

In addition to the performances, what is rare here is that there are many opportunities to get close to marine life, such as batfish, manta rays, bamboo sharks, epaulette sharks, etc.

Here I also saw a walrus for the first time, which completely subverted my imagination!

SeaWorld San Diego is also a large amusement park with many entertainment activities to enjoy. There is no need to queue if you go there on weekdays.

The rafting is pretty good, but be careful of the coin-operated players on land who might splash you with water...

The roller coaster looked scary, but it was actually okay. We immediately went for a second ride because there was no line. There is another bigger and longer roller coaster in the park, but it was closed for maintenance.

In addition to these free attractions, there are two paid entertainment projects in the park. One is the observation tower in the center of the park, which costs $5 per person and can rise to the highest point to overlook the entire park. The other is the cross-sea cable car, which is at the northernmost part of the park. We did not use it.

There are two more areas under construction in Ocean World, and the map says they will open in spring 2019. I envy those who go there later, they will definitely have a better time~

The true way to visit SeaWorld is to see a show. Dolphins are so adorable, no matter how many times you see them. But at SeaWorld San Diego, that's just an appetizer. The star attraction in the dolphin show is the guy below, a massive figure, but clearly he hasn't maxed out his water fight skills. Despite being several times larger than a dolphin, the splash he makes is barely comparable, soaking six or seven rows of seats.

Killer whale shows were once SeaWorld San Diego's signature attraction, but they were discontinued in 2017 due to controversy. The Orca Encounter, which returned in 2018, has a revised format, focusing more on nature and educational purposes. Whether you're for it or not, it's worth seeing before it disappears completely. It's truly pitiful to see such large orcas in such a small pool (though I don't know how deep, the surface area is about the same as the dolphin pool).

Killer whales—the name sounds scary, but they're actually so silly and adorable. Arriving only a dozen minutes early, we had the only seats at the top besides the front-row wet zone. Hoping for luck, we sat in row seven, without raincoats. We figured if the first ten rows got soaked, the seventh wouldn't get much wet. Clearly, compared to the larger whales in the dolphin show, killer whales have mastered the art of splashing water. They could easily soak the first ten rows. Every time a killer whale swam past, I was ready to run. Luckily, ours was the only one of the five fan-shaped wet zones in the center that escaped the killer whales' splashing attacks. ✌️

This is a great place for animal lovers. The park combines animal shows, a marine zoo, and children's entertainment. Be sure to buy the all-inclusive ticket, which allows you to enjoy a full day of fun and dining.

By Dongfang Min |

SeaWorld San Diego offers beautiful scenery nestled in the heart of a bay. It boasts a vibrant array of marine life and a wide selection of thrilling water-themed rides, perfect for all ages. The crowds aren't too crowded, and lines typically last about 20 minutes. During shows, especially the dolphin and whale shows, lines are almost non-existent. The marine life shows feature dolphins, whales, sea lions, seals, and more. While the park remains the same for several years, there's room for improvement. The park opens late at 10:30 AM. Adult tickets are 400 yuan per person if booked on China-TravelNote. Buying them at the door costs $69 per adult.

It is very suitable for children. Here you can see marine animals up close, especially the world's only killer whale show. It is suitable for playing in the park for a whole day. There is a large parking lot outside the park. I have forgotten the specific price. You can park for a whole day.

It's worth a visit, there are many kinds of marine animals. Not many people

By andrew |

SeaWorld San Diego is huge, so if you have the time, I recommend spending a day or two there. We only spent a little over half a day, which meant we couldn't visit many areas. SeaWorld tickets are cheap, and one includes a meal, making it a great deal. The highlights of SeaWorld are the shows, which are fantastic and I highly recommend not missing them.

By Kanouba |

Tickets are the same price as Universal Studios Los Angeles, just under 500 RMB. But the real difference is that, on a weekday for Americans, the park's crowds are pitifully low. I'd rather have a packed park than experience the water park this time, with no lines for every ride and no seats for every show. Overall, this place is perfect for kids. Its overall entertainment rating drops one star compared to Universal Studios.

The dolphin show is very intense and can be considered as the world's top level. Crazy foreigners like to jump on the dolphins in the water.

By Sony Girls |

We arrived at 10am and started running around in the various shows. The biggest difference from back home was that you get soaked sitting in the front row – killer whales, dolphins, and sea lions were all there! It was my first time touching a ray with my kids, and my first time seeing penguins swimming in the sun!

There are performances with various small animals. Although the performance seems very dull, the actors will tell everyone at the end that these small animals were once abandoned or sick, and they urge everyone to start protecting animals from themselves.

There is only one killer whale show per day at 2:30 pm, so don't miss it.

The fast food in Sea World is quite generous in portion and tastes pretty good. Two meals can easily fill four people. Friends, remember not to order too much.

We were lucky enough to catch the 11:30 a.m. ocean show upon entering the park. Before the show began, a screen displayed some questions about killer whales, interacting with the audience through the camera, which was quite interesting. We had originally secured a seat near the front, but the screen indicated that the first ten rows might get wet, so we moved to the back. The show began, and the killer whales entered the scene. Their massive bodies were incredibly agile, leaping from the water in a beautiful arc before slamming heavily into the water, soaking the audience in front. The actual show didn't feature many orcas, and the crew's presence wasn't very noticeable, but the graceful form of these enormous creatures was a real eye-catcher. Furthermore, the content displayed on the big screen was rich and well-produced, making the show well worth seeing.

Unlike the sea lions on the deck of San Francisco, the sea lions in the sea lion show are flexible and dynamic, and with their natural cuteness, they are full of star power on the scene.

The dolphin show is very popular. The scene here is grand, and the scene of more than 20 dolphins jumping at the same time at the end is very shocking.

By Drawing sauce |

Parking is $12. I think the advantage is the amusement park + ocean park, the disadvantage is that there are not many animals. During the dolphin show, pay attention to waterproofing in the front row.

By Nana Sees the World |

It's suitable for the whole family to go together, it's quite unforgettable.

By farmers |

Overall, it's OK. Parking is good. American road signs are clear.

It's mainly for children. You can focus on watching the performance and it's better to time it right!

The place is not very big. It takes about an hour to walk around it. The diameter can be walked in about 20 minutes.

The kids were very happy. As for the adults, haha, there was no need for a group of adults to go.

By Qizai |

The Ocean World has touchable marine animals, and the highlight is the small amusement park... It's so cute, it's really fun to bring the kids. The Ocean World is also very large, and of course, the performances are also quite exciting. 😄

By Wellhome |

Compared to other, larger ocean worlds, this one has a smaller variety of creatures and isn't packed with new things. However, its strengths lie in the many interactive programs with the animals. The interweaving of the ocean world and the amusement park creates a well-designed flow, making it a fantastic place for children and young adults. For us older folks, it might not be quite as engaging!

SeaWorld San Diego is the largest marine park in the United States. Relatively speaking, it's not as crowded as Universal Studios, so there's no need to buy through-the-door tickets. We bought tickets on TB, and the price with the all-inclusive card was much lower than on the official website. There are multiple shows at SeaWorld every day, so be sure to check the show times to avoid missing out. You can pick the ones you like first. Although it's a marine park, it also has several rides, and the lines aren't long. My favorite was the sea lion show. The adorable sea lions worked with the trainers to perform challenging maneuvers, and the trainers' exaggerated performances added a lot of fun. A seabird even flew over to steal the sea lions' food. Judging by its skillful movements, it must be a repeat offender.

There is also a sea cable car. Sitting slowly on the cable car on the sea, coupled with good weather, I was surrounded by the blue and really wanted to turn into a seabird. After a day's visit, the park is not big and you can basically go through it. I especially recommend the sea cable car, dolphin show, and sea lion show. You must watch the aquarium. You can walk around slowly during the breaks between the shows. You can see divers feeding at certain times. In short, there are constant surprises, and you need to discover them yourself. There is a 360-degree rotating view in the center of the park, which overlooks the entire ocean park.

I went to SeaWorld during my second visit to my relatives' home in the US in 2012. You have to go early in the morning! Otherwise, the lines will make you cry. The killer whale show is the highlight. You can touch the dolphins. There are so many marine animals. Remember to wear sunscreen; the California sun is incredibly harsh. I didn't wear sunscreen and my nose peeled.

By MONKEY Hui |

I saw a lot of marine animals and felt that they cared for them more than in China. They gave the animals enough space to move around, the performances were very attentive and exciting, and the entertainment facilities were also very fun.

By Melone |

Apart from being a little disappointed that I didn't see the polar bears, the whole experience was great. Although I didn't ride the roller coaster, I still highly recommend the dolphin and killer whale shows.

By Eastern Emperor Cherry |

If you're in San Diego, you absolutely have to visit SeaWorld. Tickets are a bit pricey, but it's worth it! You should definitely stay all day. The evening shows are one of the best, and you can pretty much see everything in one day, especially the evening shows. They run until around 10 PM. There are always surprises!

By little fat cat |

It's a great place. The whale show is breathtaking, the silly seals asking tourists for food are hard to resist, and the seabirds snatching food are even more difficult to guard against.

By Bo |

The killer whale show at SeaWorld has been suspended for well-known reasons. However, you can still see the killer whales, and now it has been replaced by a scientific explanation.

There is also a dolphin show. The water they spit out is not just a light rain, it will take you a whole day to dry up if you get wet... But it is fun to sit in the back row and watch the people in the front row get wet XD

By joy318 |

Buying tickets online is cheaper than on the official website, at 378 RMB per ticket. You should usually buy tickets two or three days in advance. Last-minute sellers can't guarantee a ticket, so it's best to book your tickets in advance.

It took two hours to drive from Los Angeles to San Diego. We arrived at SeaWorld at 11 a.m. Everything was blue, a truly pleasing sight. This is the only marine park in the world with a killer whale show, and it's said that after this batch of killer whales retire, there will be no more shows. We arrived just in time for the killer whale show, which was about to begin. The killer whales were so adorable and innocent, you couldn't tell they looked ferocious at all. They must have been tamed by humans. At the trainer's command, they did somersaults, swung their tails, and splashed water into the audience. We sat in the wet area, and sure enough, we got soaked...

After watching the killer whale show, my husband set his sights on the roller coaster, a ride built on the sea. It looked relatively flat and short, but once we got on it, it was much more thrilling than the one at Universal Studios. It scared the hell out of us.

SeaWorld wasn't overly crowded, and the lines for all the attractions were short. I took a sightseeing elevator for a bird's-eye view of the city. I also took a cable car for a round-trip tour. During the dolphin show, I gently petted a dolphin. The moment my hand touched its skin was an indescribable feeling. Atlantis is a water coaster attraction, similar to a whitewater raft combined with a roller coaster. It looked scary. My husband repeatedly urged me to go, but I finally gave up. I was getting less and less courageous. I sat in my seat, waiting for my husband to take photos and videos. Finally, we went on the ship wreck, a water attraction.

There are a lot of Chinese people in Ocean World, and many of them are pushing their children.

By Xiao Shenger |

The Ocean World is quite fun, but I later heard that the killer whales in the show are actually very pitiful.

By ZQ |

Although the tickets are a bit expensive, they are really worth the money. The programs inside are great, especially the dolphin show, which is really great!

By Tianyu cane🐟 |

The most charming city in the western United States~San Diego. Apart from the Midway aircraft carrier in the naval port, the most attractive thing is Sea World!

January 31st was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and not a single cloud in the sky. Everyone was in a particularly good mood after being freed from the smog in the capital!

When you are in Beijing, you can imagine that these core attractions (such as the Forbidden City and Badaling) are crowded with tourists.

But it's not like that here (maybe it's not the weekend). I arrived at 1pm and there were not many tourists at the gate. There was no need to queue for long for the rides. Only when watching the dolphin and whale shows did a lot of people suddenly sit in the stands. Everything was in order and they were having a very leisurely and relaxed time. It was very rare!

There is no doubt that laughter is always the main theme, this is a paradise for children!

SeaWorld San Diego is one of the world's most famous marine theme parks. Located in the scenic Mission Bay Park, SeaWorld offers a variety of exciting animal shows and rides. The most famous is the show with Shamu, the giant killer whale (orca), a must-see at SeaWorld. Besides killer whales, other exciting performances include dolphins, sea lions, pets, and bird shows. Visitors to SeaWorld should be prepared to get soaked; bring your own raincoat. The most famous rides are the Ocean Coaster and the Sky Tower.

I bought my Ocean Park ticket a month in advance on the official website. After comparing prices on Taobao, I found the official website to be the best deal. I opted for weekday admission, which was several dozen dollars cheaper than on weekends.

Ocean Park has a dedicated parking lot with a parking fee of $16 per car. The parking lot is very large. We went there early and basically went in as soon as it opened. I don’t know if there would be parking spaces if we went late.

After entering the park, you can get a map with a show schedule on the back. There are five shows in total, and you can basically watch them one after another. Our order is: dolphin show, sea lion show, killer whale show (must see, 2 pm), puppy and kitten show, and Chinese style show.

Upon entering, there was a large touch pool, with many children playing with fish. After a while, we dragged our son to the dolphin show. Part of the dolphin show area was splashy, and the park had clearly marked it. We didn't want to get wet, so we sat in the back. Many people went just to get wet, and it was fun.

I think dolphin shows are pretty much the same everywhere in the world. The dolphins make their appearance, leap from the water, carry people around, and then splash water on the audience. The sun was so intense I almost fainted. The San Diego sun is just too strong.

SeaWorld San Diego is one of the three major SeaWorld parks under the SeaWorld umbrella, the others being Orlando, Florida, and San Antonio, Texas. My husband and I visited SeaWorld Orlando before Tuanzi was born. Back then, we hadn't seen much, and it was truly awe-inspiring. Now that Tuanzi is almost five, it's a perfect opportunity to visit SeaWorld San Diego, and we absolutely have to put it on our itinerary. Upon entering the main gate, there are several touch pools along the path. Children naturally love to touch and explore new objects, and Tuanzi was thrilled to be greeted by so many new and exciting marine creatures. This is a horseshoe crab (hou, fourth tone), a living fossil that has remained largely unchanged for 400 million years. Its blood is blue, making it the only blue-blooded animal. Horseshoe crab blood has important medical applications. It coagulates endotoxins from Gram-negative bacteria, making it a valuable tool for detecting bacterial infections. This has contributed to the declining population of horseshoe crabs. Next to the shark pool, there's an aquarium displaying what looks like kelp. The stems are indeed kelp, but the "leaves" aren't kelp; they're shark eggs. Sharks lay their eggs on kelp or seaweed stems. We once found shark eggs in a pile of seaweed swept up by the waves. Haha, surprise, isn't it? Besides the marine animal exhibits, Sea World also features a variety of rides, like roller coasters. There's one in the flamingo area, but Tuanzi couldn't ride it due to height restrictions, so we lost interest. Other rides, like canyoning, are available to Tuanzi if she's tall enough. Overall, the rides aren't suitable for a four or five-year-old like Tuanzi.

One attraction for all ages is the variety of marine animal shows, including killer whales (also known as orcas), sea lions, dolphins, walruses, and even pets. Killer whales are large, dolphin-like marine mammals that don't kill humans, but they will prey on passing gray whales and other dolphins. They are intelligent, social animals. We've previously visited them on San Juan Island in Seattle and gained some understanding of their habits. They can understand their trainers' commands and perform many challenging maneuvers. The killer whales at the three major American sea worlds all share the same proper name (or stage name): Shamu. Shamu was the first killer whale trained to perform at SeaWorld San Diego. After his death, SeaWorld named all participating killer whales Shamu in his honor. The most spectacular moment is the climax of their performances, when the audience chants "Shamu, Shamu" like a thunderous roar.

SeaWorld Adventure Park San Diego is one of the world's most renowned marine theme parks. Since its opening in 1964, over 130 million visitors have explored the mysteries of the ocean. Located in the scenic Mission Bay Park, SeaWorld offers a variety of spectacular animal shows and rides. The most famous is the show with Shamu, the giant killer whale (orca), a must-see at SeaWorld. Besides killer whales, other exciting shows include dolphins, sea lions, pets, and birds. Visitors to SeaWorld should be prepared to get soaked; bring a raincoat. Among the most famous rides are the Ocean Coaster and the Sky Tower.

It's great! The kids had a blast, spending the entire day there from opening to sunset. As one of the most famous ocean parks, it's quite appealing to children, but not so-so for adults. Regular parking is $17. Bags are checked upon entry, and a guide map is available at the service center. Unfortunately, some maps aren't available in Chinese. Here are six tips for your visit:

(1) After the leader has taken the tour of the map, do not rush to explore the area. Instead, study the guide map carefully. The map shows the start times of various shows, and you must plan and arrange the order of the shows.

(2) In the summer, there is iced drinking water in the park, which can be drunk at any time and can be bottled.

(3) Personally, I think the Wild Arctic in the park is the most representative of science and technology, comparable to the attractions in Universal Studios Hollywood. I recommend that you don’t miss it.

(4) Exclusive news: Watch Shamu Adventure - Watch the killer whale show quickly, because the show will be cancelled next year - 2017! The reason is in my travel notes. And if you don't want to get wet, please bring your own raincoat and sit in the first five rows.

(5) I personally think the animal performances are average and not recommended.

(6) After the regular tour, if the children are still not satisfied, there are many other recreational facilities in the courtyard, such as trampolines, rope ladders, carousels, etc., for them to have fun.

By Indifferent |

I was amazed! It felt like a rebirth, arriving at SeaWorld. The animals exuded such freshness and cleanliness! The killer whale and dolphin shows were absolutely thrilling. If you're coming back, definitely avoid the front rows. Or if you enjoy getting soaked by dolphins, you might consider it; it's thrilling! I went on several large rides, mainly because they were small and the lines weren't long, so I had a blast! The whitewater rafting ride was terrifying, though; I nearly peed myself! Overall, it was thrilling, fun, and fresh. America truly is a free country; even the animals seem to be so carefree and carefree. You can tell they're so happy!

By Aimee |

Excellent, highly recommended. We spent the entire day there. Weekday tickets are $55 per person on the official website, and parking is $17 per day. Get a map at the entrance. The killer whale, dolphin, and sea lion shows are all worth seeing. They say there won't be any animal shows next year. The food inside isn't too expensive, and you can buy an animal-shaped cup to drink as much as you want. The apple juice is delicious.

By China-TravelNote users |

The performances are very good, adults and children like it very much, it is definitely worth a visit

By Alex |

Compared to the disappointment at the zoo, the killer whales were the highlight of SeaWorld. I recommend buying just the entrance fee, without the meal package. It's not worth it. The food inside was terrible, and the lines were incredibly long. Finally, I recommend using the SeaWorld app to book your rides in advance, which will save you a lot of time waiting in line.

By Yao Meier-Little Wind |

Go to the San Diego Oceanarium to see the killer whales. The animals there are so cute. The San Diego waterfront in the evening is so beautiful.

By male109 |

San Diego is a tourist destination, but with so many tourists, it's more bustling and less peaceful. It's still worth a visit, especially the Midway aircraft carrier. It made me realize the gap our country has in military defense, and instead of blindly being complacent, we need to do something concrete to close it. However, some small towns are still worth exploring.

By Melancholic Youngster |

A completely different experience, many animals can be touched by children, and all kinds of shows are very fun

By ViVi |

Nice park, although the price is not cheap, but it is still worth a visit, the facilities are good

By XJ@LA |

SeaWorld San Diego, the first marine park in the United States, opened in 1964 and remains incredibly popular. You can buy e-tickets on its official website, which is quite convenient. We've been there three times, with friends and with my parents. It's a great place for all ages, especially with children.

I highly recommend the killer whale show (Shamu). The 2016 season was the last, and due to animal protection (mainly promoted by animal protection organizations), the show was discontinued in 2017, so if you want to see it, you should hurry up! The sea lion show was humorous, but you need a good command of English to understand it. The dolphin show is worth seeing!

For rides, I especially recommend the Shipwreck Rapids. It's a lot of fun, and you can use a water gun to spray people on the boat for 25 cents. Don't miss it! It's so exciting! I also recommend the Journey to Atlantis, which is a rapids ride! The roller coaster is smaller and not as thrilling, but it's fun nonetheless.

There is also an area for interacting with animals, and it is also nice to feed sea lions and manta rays.

Special Tip: San Diego is sunny year-round, so be sure to wear sunscreen and plenty of water; otherwise, you won't be able to handle a full day of fun! Also, try to wear dry clothes, as you're definitely going to get wet if you want to have fun. Don't wear jeans; they'll be incredibly frustrating if they take a while to dry. Don't ask me how I know.

SeaWorld San Diego is the world's largest marine theme park, boasting numerous exhibits showcasing various marine life. Its most famous show is the killer whale show, along with dolphin and seal performances. While these performances are good, I've seen so many similar ones that they weren't truly breathtaking. Here, you can interact with many of the animals and touch various marine creatures in the water. There are also numerous rides, including roller coasters, tubing, and cable cars. I've been on the tubing at many parks, but this one was the most soaking wet; I got half my body soaked. My kids asked for Beluga cups, which offered free refills of carbonated drinks, and they kept them flowing all day. It's a must-see theme park.

Amusement facilities such as roller coasters are not as good as those in China, but the performances are very exciting.

The children loved it, and the killer whale and sea lion shows were particularly exciting.

SeaWorld San Diego opens around 11:00 AM. I went during Christmas, so it stayed open until 10:00 PM. Compared to aquariums in China, it's significantly larger, a theme park made up of several aquariums. While there are plenty of roller coasters and other attractions, I mainly enjoyed the various shows. The main ones featured killer whales, dolphins, sea otters, and many Christmas-themed shows. I'm a huge aquarium fan, and having heard it's one of the best in the US, I felt compelled to visit, even at a high price. But honestly, perhaps because I was so excited to see the whales so early in the morning, SeaWorld didn't seem particularly impressive.

I went there with my son and friends. The children had a lot of fun and were able to get close to the seals and sea lions and touch them with their own hands.

The killer whale show, sea lion show, and dolphin show were good. The rest were just average. Half a day is enough.

We visited San Diego during Christmas 2014 as part of our trip south from Northern California. We should have stayed longer, but we only had a full day to visit SeaWorld. My husband was very excited, but I'd seen SeaWorlds in Australia and Hong Kong and wasn't quite as curious; they were probably all pretty similar. We went mainly to keep him company. Afterward, it was quite enjoyable because the Christmas atmosphere made it special.

We arrived in San Diego the night before and searched online for discount tickets. After a long search, we finally decided to apply for a Southwest Airlines membership, which offered a 20% discount. AAA's discount seemed to be only 10%. I already had a membership, but I printed out a card to bring with me. Parking online is $1 off. It was around 10:45 AM when we arrived, and a long line of cars had already formed. It took us 30 minutes to drive slowly to the parking garage entrance, but there were plenty of empty spaces further out. Parking and walking to the entrance took another 10 minutes. The line for tickets was incredibly long (see video). There were three different types of tickets: a machine for regular tickets, a staffed line with coupons, and a line for people who already had tickets. We waited another 45 minutes in the coupon line before we were even served. The ticket seller wasn't familiar with our offer and simply looked at my printed form without checking my ID. She even suggested special packages with skip-the-line access and meals, but we declined.

Once we got inside, we had to make some arrangements. There were some scheduled shows. We wanted to see Shamu the killer whale, dolphins, and something else (which we only discovered was canceled when we were waiting in line). The details are in the video. Bring a raincoat to see the dolphins and whales up close, or you'll get soaked.

The food is reasonably priced, starting at 8 yuan, and some items are quite affordable. The souvenir cups are also nice, with a variety of styles to choose from, and you can save them for future refills at 99 cents. Also, depending on the time of day, the lines for food can be long. The same goes for the roller coaster lines. However, the timed lockers are quite economical.

Then, in the evening, we enjoyed the Christmas displays and food. There was a fake snow field for the kids to play on. I thought it would be 20 degrees Celsius on Christmas in Southern California, but it was actually quite cold, around 10 degrees Celsius. Everyone should dress warmly.

A paradise for adults and children, we recommend the Polar Bear Pavilion. You should also go for the 3D adventure experience project to experience the visual feeling of being in the Arctic avalanche.

By Terran |

Almost all kinds of marine life can be found here. The performances of dolphins and walruses are very interesting, and the most exciting show is of course the killer whale show!

By SJ LIN |

The show is quite good and interesting, with killer whales and polar bears.

By Sunflower baby haha |

It's a very good ocean park. The killer whale show, dolphin show and seal show are all very exciting and worth seeing, especially the killer whale, which is very beautiful. The amusement facilities are average.

Upon entering the park, I was a little puzzled by the small drying rooms everywhere. Turns out... We later collected a handful of coins and expressed our "good mood" to several groups of tourists. Because I couldn't bear to spend the few dollars on drying, I didn't change my wet clothes until we got to Las Vegas.

SeaWorld San Diego is famous for its killer whale show. You may have seen dolphin shows at other ocean parks around the world, but here, the animals performing are killer whales—over 10 times larger! The performance venue is also incredibly large! Having previously been to Ocean Park in Hong Kong, I felt that the animals at SeaWorld San Diego were much better trained, whether it was the dolphins, sea lions, or the unique killer whales.

This Ocean Park is the oldest in the world. I've seen the dolphin show at Hong Kong Ocean Park, which combines both aerial and underwater performances. There's tightrope hanging and diving, and it's beautiful and very tantalizing.

After watching the dolphins, we watched the sea lion show. The scene imitated my idol TV series - CSI. I was very excited when the music came on.

SeaWorld San Diego is a must-see. The several animal shows are worth seeing. The zoo is well-designed, allowing visitors to get up close and personal. It's truly an eye-opener. By the way, be careful eating in the park. My daughter bought a hot dog, and just as she took a bite, a seabird suddenly flew over and snatched it away!

By keaiduo |

Besides the various marine animal shows, the most famous one is of course the killer whales, which seem to be found nowhere else. They use their large tails to splash water at the audience. In fact, dolphins can also splash water, so if you want to see them perform, be sure not to sit in the front. There are also bat fish, which children especially love to play with.

By gulonghua |

It's fun. I like to touch the slippery Yao fish at the door.

By Big White |

Remember the show time: the killer whale show is at 2 pm, and there is only one show a day, so you definitely can’t miss it!

What’s different from domestic performances is that their performances are always so beautiful.

The performance was wonderful, with many extremely difficult moves, which was different from the unchanging performances in domestic aquariums.

Ocean Park tickets. I have a Go San Diego card that includes a pass for all the attractions, making it a great deal if you want to visit them all. However, the places I wanted to visit didn't match my schedule, so I didn't buy the pass. I bought a code on eBay for two dollars and used it to buy tickets. The original price was 89 per person, but after the discount, it was 66 per person. I think the tickets were completely worthless, even with the discount. The park isn't big, and after the four shows, there's not much else to see. The exhibits aren't as good as those at zoos or other aquariums. The four shows are the cat and dog show, the sea lion and sea urchin show, the dolphin show, and the killer whale show. It's a place you'll never go back to. The cat and dog show at Universal Studios is much better. The audience seats are extremely hot, and the show feels like a human jerky roast. If you want a good seat, arrive early and wait in the scorching sun. There are warm-up activities, but they're really mediocre.

The kids were really excited to watch the show and were able to sit in the front row. They all got wet after watching it.

Since we had limited time in the park, and the park's main attraction is the various animal shows, we skipped all the roller coasters and focused on the shows. Every show was fantastic and highly recommended, some were quite touching. We were also lucky to have a special Christmas show during the Christmas season. Upon entering the park, there were maps of Sea World everywhere, clearly marking the start times of the various shows. By staggering your visits to the shows with your own, you were able to see most of the shows and animal exhibits within your limited time. I especially recommend the killer whale show; it's the crowning jewel of Sea World. If you choose to sit in the front three rows, be sure to bring a disposable raincoat—you can buy one on site or bring one in advance—to avoid getting soaked, as the killer whales use their tails to spray water at the audience. I also highly recommend the dolphin and sea lion shows; they're a blast!

By Yuner |

Flamingos, poison dart frogs, these animals that I have seen in Discovery can be appreciated up close here, and all the shows are great~

By Iris is not in Wonderland |

Before I went there, I thought it was an indoor ocean park, but it's more than that. The harmonious coexistence of man and nature is the greatest feeling. Children will definitely love it here.

By XiaobaijiangXXi |

The shows of dolphins, sea lions and killer whales made people applaud uncontrollably. Although previous reports have shown that the animals in various ocean parks are actually very pitiful, the American shows can create a fairy tale world for people. This is a paradise for children. At the opening of the show, Sea World explained to the audience the achievements of their rescue team. They must have realized the recent negative news. I think this is something that is educational and meaningful, especially for children.

Like many theme parks in the US, SeaWorld has dedicated parking for strollers, which is a truly user-friendly touch. Another US user-friendly feature worth mentioning is the diaper-changing area in the men's restroom, a perfect example of gender equality.

We arrived at the Ocean Park at noon and started watching various performances, including the pets rule show, shamu adventure, sea lion and dolphin performances. They were so exciting and cute, and I couldn't praise them more.

By Handsome |

We arrived early, so the weather was good and there were fewer people. Before the seal show, a staff member interacted with the audience, which was really fun. I think it was much better than the seal show. The best show was the killer whale splashing water. Remember not to sit in the front row when you go to watch it. If you want to sit in the front, remember to bring a raincoat.

By pawpaw |

We came early to see the first dolphin show. When we arrived, the venue was very empty and we could choose any seat. However, to be cautious, we did not choose the seats in the first few rows of the so-called "splash zone".

By My Neighbor Totoro in Boots |

The animal performances here are world-famous. Be sure to get a performance schedule when you enter and arrange your own viewing time. Don't miss it.

In addition to animal shows, Ocean World also has many amusement projects that allow you to play there for a whole day.

I prefer the shark show at Ocean World, especially the one where they splash water on the audience with their tails. It's really fun.

By Steamed buns |

There were so many people this time! I think we were early, but we still had to line up to get into the parking lot. Parking is $16. For $20, you can park closer. There's a seal fishing activity, but be careful to cover the fish, or the seagulls will come and grab them. There were only five fish, one big one and four small ones, and the seals would scream and yell, and if you didn't feed them, they would get angry. The noise was deafening.

By Fatty cold |

Compared to many domestic aquatic parks that are purely show-based, SeaWorld has a lot more to offer. There are roller coasters, Atlantis, and the most amazing cable car!

There are also a bunch of flamingos under the roller coaster! They are super aggressive and sometimes they strut right on the road, forcing tourists to give way!

By Swim and swim |

SeaWorld San Diego is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and Monday through Friday tickets are only $50—a fantastic value! Upon entering the park, we headed to the killer whale show. It's incredible how these massive creatures can strike poses to make you laugh, splash you with water to make you laugh and cry, and even leap up to show off their majesty. Their cuteness rivals that of the now-popular Great White (●—●). A truly spectacular show!

Another impressive performance was the musical "Madagascar Penguins". From the sound effects and lighting design to the actors' dance and the melody of the songs, it easily mobilized the audience's emotions and the atmosphere of the scene. If it was in a square instead of a theater, there would probably be a scene of the whole audience dancing together (not the Chinese aunts' square dance, don't get the wrong idea).

By The disappearing vest line |

I heard that only SeaWorld San Diego has whale shows, but the whales weren't as big as I expected, and they only leaped and slapped their tails. If you don't want to get wet during the show, avoid sitting in the soak zone. Unfortunately, we didn't know that and ended up soaking wet, even damaging our camera lens. Besides the various marine animal shows, there are also some entertainment options perfect for the whole family. The ticket price was $84 USD, but it was only 378 RMB on Taobao. Print it out and scan it upon arrival, which is very convenient and saves time waiting in line.

SeaWorld San Diego, one of San Diego's three theme parks, opened in 1964 and welcomes over four million visitors annually. It features 26 animal exhibits, 10 roller coaster-like rides, 20 shows of all sizes, two play areas, four special limited-time programs, and 11 unique experiences.

Once you enter SeaWorld San Diego, you'll be captivated by its comprehensive facilities. The exhibits and performances featuring adorable animals like penguins and turtles, as well as rare species like killer whales and manta rays, will leave you breathtaking. Most importantly, there are also a variety of roller coaster-style rides that will make you scream with joy. And finally, in sunny Southern California, getting your clothes soaked by killer whales is an unforgettable experience! SeaWorld is my favorite, although the safari park and zoo are also very famous. It's a must-see in San Diego! Excellent!

It is known as the best ocean park in the world, and its reputation is well-deserved, because most of the marine creatures can be touched, almost up close.

There are many entertainment facilities inside, like an ocean-themed amusement park.

By sunVanillaSky |

The park is incredibly lively, with a diverse array of marine life (including polar bears, penguins, and other polar animals). The facilities are first-rate, and the details are exquisitely designed. Having always visited scenic spots in China, we were thrilled to see a park like this. Seeing Shamu, the killer whale, for the first time was thrilling. The dolphin show was high-quality, with added gymnastics and diving live-action performances, which were truly endearing. The shark underwater tunnel was thrilling. The park has also added many amusement park-style attractions, such as roller coasters, zip lines, and rafting, making it equally suitable for young children. Many children come here, and I envy them. This place combines both education and entertainment, allowing children to experience the joy and fantasy that the ocean brings.

Be sure to go early to see the dolphins and killer whales. The killer whale show also has a night show, which is really exciting! The dolphin show is also good. The one behind the left door is the more normal one, while the one behind the right door is the larger black one.

All the photos before that night are lost... These few were uploaded before 0.0

The dolphins were very agile, and there were trainers performing in the water with the dolphins. There was also a song and dance performance in the middle... It was all people and no dolphins... It was so boring.

By small omama |

Ocean Park opens at 10 AM and closes at 5 PM. The rides are suitable for children over 48 inches tall, and the crowds are minimal, so you can enjoy your favorite rides over and over again. The highlight is the killer whale and dolphin show, where the killer whales splash water at the audience with their tails. Great! Highly recommended!

What’s more worth mentioning is that many of the fish here can be touched by children, which is really humane...

This is the least crowded ocean park I've ever been to. Maybe it's because it's not a holiday and there are fewer people in the United States. The biggest feature here is the killer whale show. The killer whales will splash water on the audience according to the trainer's command. It's really pitiful... Another thing worth praising is that there are many kinds of marine animals here that children can touch. There is a washbasin next to it. The staff are constantly explaining it. They are really dedicated. There are many things to do.
