Universal Studios officially opened at 9:00 AM. We had breakfast at the hotel and departed at 8:30 AM. We left our car at the hotel today, located at the foot of Universal Studios Hollywood. The free shuttle bus to Universal Studios Hollywood is a 5-minute walk via an underground tunnel and over a skybridge. The shuttle bus isn't far from the entrance, but it's quite steep, so taking the shuttle bus is much easier. The park opened promptly at 9:00 AM, and ticketed guests entered the park in order to scan their tickets and pick up a map (Chinese version available). The park is divided into an Upper and Lower Land, and afternoon crowds are usually higher than morning ones, so planning your visit wisely is crucial to hitting as many attractions as possible in one day. By 5:30 PM, we had completed eight rides. While we missed some, hitting eight in one day was quite efficient.

Having already visited Universal Studios Singapore, I was excited to visit this theme park. A one-day ticket costs about $124 for adults and $118 for children. Prices and opening hours vary by date; please check the official website for details. Fast-track or two-day tickets are available, but there are no family tickets, which was a bit disappointing.

We spent the entire day here, trying most of the attractions, which were quite physically demanding. The advantage of visiting in winter is that there are fewer crowds and shorter lines. Therefore, I recommend buying a regular ticket if you're visiting in winter.

Compared to Disneyland, which is more for the young and playful, Universal Studios is so much more exciting! It had just opened when we arrived, and since it was a weekday, there weren't as many people as we'd expected.
The Uber driver shared her local experience with Universal Studios, saying we had to go for the Harry Potter ride first, as it was said to be the most thrilling. But to be honest, even though there was a detailed guide, we decided to just go with whatever we wanted (because we couldn't find the way?).
Butterbeer, super creamy!
I basically played all the rides in the studio, including The Simpsons, The Mummy, Harry Potter, etc. The one that impressed me the most was the Mummy ride.
For those who are not so daunted by the Walking Dead, which is said to be the most worthwhile and the most terrifying, you may want to give it a try if you are brave enough and have a good tolerance.
Universal Studios is divided into Uptown and Downtown. If you have a favorite attraction, you can explore it with your guide. There are also a variety of performances and shows at the top of the hour. I saw the new Kung Fu Panda and another stunt show this year, both of which were super cool! Each show has multiple time slots each day, and the specific times are announced at each entrance.

After checking in at Universal Studios, the first thing you see is the Visitor Information Center, where you can pick up maps in various languages. From here, follow the main path back through Waterworld, passing the Simpsons theme park. To the right is the sightseeing car, and further ahead is the Harry Potter theme park. The elevator leading down to the left is the way to the lower park.
Upper half
Harry Potter Studio Tour Sightseeing Bus
The lower section features three themed areas: Jurassic Park (which is somewhat similar to the Great White Water Rafting), The Mummy Returns, and Transformers. You'll need to check your belongings in before queuing up. The Mummy and Transformers rides were both very user-friendly, though neither was particularly scary. Although I'd already left the Harry Potter theme alone, I still had plenty of time to explore each one and browse through the souvenir shops.
Tips:
1. Because bags need to be opened and checked when entering, whether you can bring things and how much you can bring often depends on the mood of the inspector, so families can enter the park separately to improve the efficiency of entering the park. Knives, guns, glass, and ceramic products are prohibited.
2. Lunch isn't included with the pass, but you can buy it at the park's restaurants. There's even a Panda Express location that serves Chinese food. I saved the sandwich I brought for breakfast because I didn't have an appetite. After lunch, I realized it was a great way to save time and avoid the crowds at the park's restaurants. So, if you don't have a particular craving for a restaurant, it's worth bringing some snacks and eating while you're waiting in line.
3. The restroom is labeled "public convenience." I was a little confused when I was used to looking for titles like "restroom." But as smart as I am, I figured it out quickly...

On December 29th, the "Circular Shadow" attraction was absolutely packed. The iconic ball was packed with people, so Du and I skipped taking photos and headed straight into the park. This was Du's second time at the "Circular Shadow," so he didn't need to do any research. Once inside, he took me to the Harry Potter section. After waiting in line for over three hours, I was convinced Shanghai Disneyland wasn't crowded at all! I was also freezing in my coat, so everyone should remember to wear a down jacket during this time of year! I started feeling dizzy after the first ride, and I realized that 5D rides aren't for me. Afterward, I braved the jet lag and dizziness to try two more rides. My fitness level is definitely weak...
The Transformers were pretty cool. I even took a picture with Optimus Prime holding a Starbucks, haha. He even said Earthlings always need it for energy or something, haha. Overall, the Universal Studios rides were pretty cool, but as a girly person, I still prefer the Disney fireworks. The lines are a real problem during peak season, so if you're coming around Christmas or New Year's, buy a FastPass!!!

I'd say visiting Guanqiu Cinema during the off-season was quite enjoyable. We managed to enjoy almost every ride without waiting in line. The lines for each ride were quite long, so you can imagine that during peak season, waiting for two or three hours would be common. The downside of not having to wait in line was that I didn't get to see the various traps in the queues carefully enough... The Harry Potter waiting area was particularly interesting. The park opened at 10:00 that day, but we could actually enter early at 9:30. Be sure to pick up a map at the entrance to make it easier to find the rides. Drinks and food are allowed, and there's free bag storage at all rides.
Christmas is coming soon, and Universal Studios has been fully decorated with a festive atmosphere.
Many guides say to go to the Lower Park first and then go to the Upper Park, so we went to the Lower Park first. There are three projects here: The Mummy, Transformers and Jurassic Park. Unfortunately, the Jurassic Park equipment is under maintenance and cannot be played.
Universal Studios has three shows, all with fixed times every day, so be sure to check the time in advance. After sunset, around 5:00, the castle light show begins, which is very beautiful.
After finishing all the rides, walk outside and you will see various shops, souvenirs, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. along the way.

Universal Studios offers a wide variety of entertainment and attractions, allowing you to explore the park in a variety of ways. The park is divided into Upper and Lower Parks and the Studio Center. The Studio Center is famous for its Universal Train, where you can ride on the sets of Hollywood blockbusters and learn about filming techniques. The Lower Park features thrilling rides like Transformers, The Mummy, and Rapids. Younger children can enjoy the Upper Park, which features 4D movies and Minions. At Universal Studios, you can observe the making of movies, uncover the mysteries of special effects, and revisit highlights from classic films. The park is divided into three areas: the Tram Tour, where you can ride a sightseeing train to experience the thrilling filming scenes; the Upper Park; and the Entertainment Center in the Lower Park.

The studio is divided into an upper and lower park. The upper park features: Studio Tour, the Harry Potter 4K HD roller coaster, the Minions 3D virtual roller coaster, The Simpsons, Flight of the Hippogriff outdoor roller coaster, The Walking Dead, and Kung Fu Panda. The lower park features the Transformers and Revenge of the Mummy roller coasters. Large screens at the entrance or in the center of the park display the waiting times for each ride. Except for The Walking Dead, all other rides typically take over an hour. We walked counterclockwise through the park and first entered The Walking Dead. It was relatively quiet, and the line was 20 minutes long. It felt a bit like a haunted house in China, with a walk-through and occasional zombie-dressed staff members appearing to scare you. Next, we waited in line for the Minions ride for about 50 minutes. Although it was a virtual roller coaster, the physical experience was amazing, and combined with the 3D video on the large screen, it was incredibly thrilling. My boyfriend and I kept cheering and were so excited when we got out! Afterwards, we headed to the Transformers ride in the Lower Land. We waited in line for nearly two hours, but this animated roller coaster was even more thrilling, spraying water and fire. Even though we waited two hours for only ten minutes, it felt incredibly worth it. By the time we left, it was almost dark, so we quickly headed to the Harry Potter land to take photos and wait in line for 50 minutes for the outdoor roller coaster. We reached the exit just in time for the Harry Potter castle projection show. The massive projections, combined with the fireworks, created a truly magical visual feast. We then rode the Harry Potter roller coaster and Revenge of the Mummy, both of which required bag storage at the entrance. It was already 8 PM when we returned from the Lower Land, but we were lucky enough to catch the last studio tour. This tour involved a train tour around the studio, visiting some of the filming locations, and getting up close to how flood and earthquake effects were created. We also got to ride two virtual roller coasters. The entire tour lasted about an hour and was incredibly worthwhile.
After a day, I felt that each roller coaster project was very unique. Personally, I think the top three are Transformers, Harry Potter and Studio Tour. After a day, I felt that although the tickets were expensive, they were worth the money and I was still not satisfied.
The butter milk beer in the Harry Potter park is very delicious, so don’t forget to try it.

Universal Studios' parking lot has three tiers, and we chose the cheapest, at $25. The closer you are to the gate, the higher the price, but I personally feel the difference is no more than 200 meters. After parking, we didn't stop by the sign at the gate to take photos, but headed straight to the main attraction. Security at Universal Studios isn't as strict as in China, so it's okay to bring some food in your bag.
Universal Studios is divided into the Upper Park and the Lower Park. In the Upper Park, we played the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Simpsons virtual roller coaster, The Walking Dead, Kung Fu Panda, the Studio Tour, the special effects show, and the Water World (it's easy to get wet); in the Lower Park, we played the Transformers 3D virtual roller coaster and the Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster (the Lower Park does not open until 10 o'clock). They were all very fun. Unfortunately, I didn't know that Harry Potter had an experience project, and there were always so many people queuing that I didn't get to play it.
【Tips】:
1. After entering the park, play the projects first. The APP can show the queue situation. There is plenty of time to take photos later. Many popular projects in the afternoon require a long wait.
2. Find out the time of the Studio Tour Chinese commentary and queue up in advance.

Because there were a lot of people during the Christmas holiday, I bought a fast ticket, which I bought on China-TravelNote. However, it is still necessary because there are really too many people. You can download the first app in the picture below to check the queue time for each attraction.
Universal Studios is still worth a visit, the special theme here is Harry Potter
I am not a Harry Potter fan, but the experience of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is quite good. It is a bit similar to Over the Horizon, which is the most popular one at Disney. I prefer VR roller coasters. If you want something more dreamy, Disney may be more suitable. However, due to limited time, I did not go to Disney.
Apart from Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, the rest of the Harry Potter park is pretty average.
Because it is a fast ticket, there is no strategy, just walk around at will. For some performances, you need to choose the time and queue up half an hour in advance, because there are only a few performances every day, which can be checked in the app
The water world performance is a large-scale live performance. It seems to be a plot from a movie. It is very real and exciting. If you don’t want to be splashed with water, you can do the later part. Many American TV actors participate in the performance. It is a very realistic scene reproduction. The actors are very dedicated, which is completely different from the various stand-ins and recordings in China.
The Studio Tour takes an hour, but the whole process is quite good. It introduces the entire film shooting, some film scene visits, and the disaster film shooting process. There is a Chinese version at 2 pm and the tour time is 1 hour.
The night view of the Christmas decorations should be nice at night, but I had to watch the game at night, so I had to miss it!

Regarding buying tickets, it is recommended to book them directly online so that you don’t have to buy them now. Although there will be fewer people queuing if you buy them now, sometimes the opening hours are different. Buying them online will make it easier to arrange your time.
Regarding food, you can bring water in, but don't bring glass bottles, or you will be asked to throw them away. You can also bring small snacks, but as for bread and other things, I don't know.
Regarding the order of visiting the parks, go to the Harry Potter land first, go to the Harry Potter land first, go to the Harry Potter land first. I can't stress this enough! Because the crowds get bigger, go to the Harry Potter land first to avoid long lines. After you get to the Harry Potter land, don't linger in the shops in Diagon Alley. Make sure to rush to the roller coaster first. Initially, the line might only be 20 minutes, but once everyone else is in, it could be an hour or two. After the Harry Potter land, you can go to the Transformers ride, but again, if you arrive late, you'll have to wait in line. Another popular attraction is the Mummy-themed haunted house, but I'm a bit timid and didn't go, so you can decide for yourself. Don't forget to stay until the evening to see the Harry Potter land light show—it's absolutely stunning!
I don't know if you know that there are sightseeing buses in Universal Studios that take tourists to visit various movie shooting locations. I have to say that there are really many Chinese people, so many that Universal Studios has specially opened several sightseeing buses with Mandarin commentary, but they have fixed times, so I suggest you plan your time well.

Our express ticket is 1600+rmb but it is fast!!
The whole queue did not exceed 15 minutes. I watched other people queue for more than an hour, and Harry Potter even queued for 120 hours! ! It was so cool
It's worth it, it saves time, and I can play all the content in the park.
Tour bus, showing you the filming locations of Universal Studios and giving you an introduction
There are also some shooting special effects experience
Swim one lap in 60 minutes
If you want to arrange Chinese commentary, there is no express channel.
Actually, English is OK, you can listen to English. The Chinese commentary in English is really hard to understand.

I just want to say this, it's really important. Peak season is really crowded, but the Express is really less crowded. Although the price is a bit higher, the value for money is really high. Under normal circumstances, the queue for an item would take an hour, but with the priority ticket, you can enter in two minutes directly, which really saves a lot of unnecessary time. I feel so happy and superior.
Tips: There are three types of parking: Ordinary, $25, located about a 10-minute walk from the entrance and busiest. Preferred, $40, located a 1-minute walk from the entrance. VIP Front, $60, located right at the entrance. Preferred parking is the most cost-effective.

I bought my Universal Studios Los Angeles tickets online for 610 yuan each. Once there, I could just scan the QR code and enter. It was very convenient. I recommend paying a little extra for the fast-track entry; it saves time exploring other areas, especially during holidays. I could spend ages exploring Harry Potter World! I loved the dazzling array of shops and quirky decorations.

If you're a Hollywood movie fan, you absolutely can't miss Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles. We specifically chose December 31st to visit Universal Studios Hollywood so we could see the special New Year's Eve show. My girlfriend had been to Universal Studios Hollywood in Orlando before, and the crowds were so huge, the lines were unbearable. So we bought Express Tickets (which allow you to skip the lines) so we could have plenty of time to experience all the attractions. This was probably the day I was most looking forward to, and I'm so grateful to my girlfriend for accompanying me to Universal Studios Hollywood again.
We arrived at Universal Studios at 10:00 AM. Universal Studios has its own multi-story parking garage with ample parking for $25. A 10-minute walk from the parking lot brought us to the iconic Universal Studios globe. Thanks to our fast-track ticket, we had a relatively free route.
Taking a photo with Optimus Prime. Actually, I prefer Bumblebee, but Bumblebee was on vacation when we went there...
Finally, a rather embarrassing story. Because we had fast-track tickets, we barely had to queue for any of the rides. While we felt the thrill of being a "RMB" player, we had already finished all the rides by around 6:00 PM, and that was even if we weren't rushing around too quickly. The rides in the park weren't as long as I'd imagined, and each one took an average of 5-10 minutes. With regular tickets, most of that time would have been spent waiting in line (about an hour and a half per ride, on average). So, with fast-track tickets, it's actually much quicker to get through the park. That meant we still had to wait aimlessly around the park for six hours before New Year's Eve. Plus, the temperature was dropping at night, so we finally gave up and headed back to our B&B for New Year's Eve. I recommend that those with fast-track tickets avoid going too early during the day, especially on special occasions like New Year's Eve, when the park stays open late. It feels like going in the afternoon is enough, freeing up the morning for other things. Also, if you're planning to spend New Year's Eve in the park, dress warmly; it gets very cold at night.
There was also an Animals Show, which was probably something like an animal show, but we weren't really interested, so we skipped it. I took a photo with Sirius Black, one of my favorite characters. The animals here move, just like in the movies.

A very classic Universal Studios, the projects are exquisite and vivid, and there is almost no queue in the off-season, which is amazing! ! ! The park is relatively small, so you can pass through it quickly without queuing.
Friendly reminder: Don't eat too much before playing, because all the activities are basically shaking and spinning, which can easily make your stomach upset.
1) The first one is of course Harry Potter, it is super realistic and the scenes are super beautiful, it is a must-try when you come here!
2) Transformers 3D shakes quite a bit, but is also very vivid.
3) Mummy is very fast, very dark, and a little scary. This attraction is in the lower pot along with Transformers and Jurassic Park, so I recommend playing all three together.
4) The Simpsons was surprisingly exciting and hilarious, making the half-hour wait worthwhile. The cartoons shown in the queue are all plot-based, so I recommend watching them so you know what's going on when you get in.
5) The Minions are pretty good and fun.
6) Kung Fu Panda is a bit childish, just like watching a 6D movie, the chair will shake slightly.
There are also several shows that are recommended to watch. Check the time in advance. There is also a light show at Hogwarts Castle in the evening.
Finally, I highly recommend the sunset at Universal Studios. It was stunning! A sea of pink. I watched it from the smoking area next to Fun Land.

A must-visit theme park!
Having been to Universal Studios in Osaka and Singapore, this one in Hollywood is truly amazing! Buy early entry tickets and head straight to the Harry Potter theme park. Once you're out, use the app to check the queue times and plan your route. No need to buy a Quick Pass! Download the app!
There is butter beer in the Harry Potter garden, it has a very special taste, highly recommended!

Universal Studios is divided into two areas: the upper area, where most of the rides are located, and the lower area, where Transformers, Jurassic Park (which was closed for maintenance), and The Mummy. The upper and lower areas are connected by three or four long escalators, and each trip takes about ten minutes.
At the exit of some popular attractions in Universal Studios, you will be given a fast ticket, which allows you to choose one of the designated attractions.

Universal Studios offers three types of tickets: regular, priority, and VIP. Regular tickets are the cheapest, offer no special privileges, and require a standard queue. Drive-through tickets offer direct access to every attraction, eliminating the need to queue. VIP tickets include a guided tour, VIP parking, and a dedicated shuttle within the park, eliminating the need to walk. The price is double the drive-through price.
If you buy a regular ticket, in order to save time, it is recommended to visit the park in the morning. Generally speaking, the longest queue is the studio tour (about 1 hour).
The Simpsons Ride (about 40 to 60 minutes). Although there are long queues for other projects such as Future Water World, the venue can accommodate many people, so you can go 15 to 20 minutes in advance.
Try to avoid weekends and holidays as they will be very crowded. If there are too many people and you can't finish it in one day, I personally recommend the following order of priority:
Go to the park: Studio Tour, The Simpsons, Waterworld, and the others if you don’t have time;
Lower Park: The rides in the Lower Park are all so fun that there's almost no order to prioritize. So, head to the least crowded spots first! The cinema is quite small, and the Upper Park isn't huge either. All the rides are only a few minutes' walk away, so it's better to plan your visit based on time rather than location. The Lower Park is even smaller!
I bought a standard ticket for Universal Studios Los Angeles because it was the cheapest. I planned to go early and use the single-rider express lanes for popular attractions, so I could enjoy the entire USC Los Angeles Universal Studios in one day.
Universal Studios opens at 9 am, and the drive from where we live only takes 9 minutes, so we arrived at the Universal Studios parking lot at 8:30 am.
Parking fees are all similar. The parking lot I found online was said to be cheaper. It was the first parking lot after getting off the highway, and the parking fee was $25 a day.
Because Universal Studios is built on a high ground, you can overlook the entire Los Angeles city, which is quite beautiful.

It is recommended to avoid coming on weekends. If you really want to come on weekends, it is best to buy a fast ticket.
It is strongly recommended that you download the [Universal CA] app, which allows you to view the waiting times for various attractions.
Universal Studios is divided into two parks, the lower one has three projects, Transformers, The Mummy and Jurassic World.
The most popular attractions in the park are The Simpsons, Harry Potter, The Walking Dead, and Minions.
You can also watch animal shows and water world, and plan your time reasonably according to the opening hours on the app

Universal Studios' parking lot is divided into three fee levels according to the distance from the amusement park. I read in the travel guide before that the difference is not that big. The farthest one is just across a short commercial street. We decisively chose the cheapest parking fee of $25.
After you save your pre-purchased tickets on your phone, you can simply scan the QR code in your photo to enter the park. It's super convenient. Remember to download the Universal Studios app, which has a park map and estimated wait times for each attraction. It's very useful!
We waited in line for the Universal Studios sightseeing bus for about an hour, but it was so much fun! We got to experience a Hollywood blockbuster tour!
Jurassic Park in the Lower Park was closed for renovations, which was one of the attractions I was looking forward to! I was so angry!
My husband loves Transformers the most, the 3D effect is so strong! The water world is also worth seeing!
Oh, how come I am so unworldly!
Finally, the Minions and the Simpsons House are gentler and more suitable for children.
In short, Universal Studios is an amusement park designed for adults. Here, both adults and children can have a lot of fun, forget all their worries, and immerse themselves in the world of science fiction. If we have the opportunity to visit Universal Studios in other places in the future, we will definitely go there again!

Well, I checked and there are only 2 real roller coasters, the rest are virtual
I thought, it must be very simple, so let's try it.
Then, I almost didn't
Virtual reality is also super scary, focus on the key points, super scary
After playing around, I was exhausted both physically and mentally.
Not only was my heart protesting, but I also felt dizzy. I almost vomited on the way back in the car.
The ticket for Universal Studios is booked on China-TravelNote. No need to print, just scan the code
If it is not the weekend, I don't think you need to buy an express ticket
It is recommended not to bring a bag. The line for bag storage is very long and it is a waste of time.
Download a Universal Studio app, which will show the queue time for each project
Many projects have single-person channels. I wonder if this is to cater to singles.
Taking the single aisle means sitting in an empty seat. For example, if there are three seats in a row, those passengers who do not take the single aisle will be arranged in the same row if they are traveling together. Those who take the single aisle will be arranged to sit in the empty seat. If there is no need to sit together, this is a way to pass through quickly.
Project Recommendation
1. Harry Potter Garden: There are so many things that Harry Potter fans will be fascinated by.
2. Little Train: It was a great experience, especially the 3D effect of King Kong was super good, and there was also speed and passion, and you could feel the feeling of racing.
3. Minions: The roller coaster in the theater was very exciting (3D). I basically only opened one eye the whole time. I was scared but also wanted to play. You know how I feel.
4. Kung Fu Panda: My favorite, because it is relatively peaceful, hahahaha
5. Revenge of the Mummy 3D Roller Coaster: You need to store your luggage. This project is not just a simple shake, it is a real roller coaster experience. It is the most frightening one.
6. Shrek 4D Cinema
7. Transformers: It’s thrilling and if you’re lucky, you can even take a photo with the Transformers at the entrance.
8. Haunted House: I was not scared by the ghosts inside, but by the screams behind, especially the screams of the girls, which were high-decibel and full of emotions.
The most famous butter beer in Universal Studios, but it doesn’t taste like beer at all. It comes in a huge cup and is delicious.

Absolutely amazing! I thought there would only be Harry Potter and Minions anime attractions, but I was surprised to see Waterworld and a train tour. I loved the latter two and highly recommend them. They were fantastic. However, China-TravelNote didn't explain much about them. Waterworld is a Hollywood blockbuster, and you'll regret it if you don't see it. The train tour takes you around the studios, where you can see floods and earthquakes, and even the studio run by King Kong Tour Guide. It was fantastic. There are only about one or two Chinese-language shows per day, and I saw the 1:30 PM show.

Taxi: It takes about 30 minutes to get to Universal Studios from the city center, and the fare is about $35.
Bus: 181 Hollywood; 212 Hollywood (You can check the starting point on Google Maps)
Subway: Red Line - Hollywood & Highland Plaza - Universal Studios
Driving: Enter the exact address 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608 on the navigation to display detailed directions.
Universal Studios is Hollywood's most popular attraction, the world's largest movie-themed park and the only one to incorporate film and television studios. Here, you can revisit classic film scenes. The park is divided into two zones: Upper and Lower. The Upper Zone features rides like Harry Potter and The Simpsons, Waterworld, and Despicable Me Minions 3D. The Lower Zone offers Transformers 3D: Final Battle, Revenge of the Mummy, and Jurassic Park: River Adventure.
Tickets and 🗡FastPass tickets can be purchased online. Los Angeles FastPass tickets allow you to play every event, with no restrictions. 🏷However, you cannot enter after 5 pm every day.
There are Chinese maps in Universal Studios, but they are very limited. It is recommended to ask the staff, who usually sell express lane tickets for more complete information.
Compared to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, the Los Angeles one is more classic, while the one in Japan is more suitable for anime fans. My favorites in the upper park are the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Kung Fu Panda, and The Simpsons Ride. The lower park is a bit more thrilling, with the Transformers 3D virtual roller coaster and Revenge of the Mummy. The Mummy ride is actually a 3D virtual roller coaster, and it's so thrilling that my hair started to feel like it wasn't mine the moment I got in.

The secret to a time-saving route: First, complete the scheduled attractions, such as Water World, the studio tour, and the show. Second, head to the Lower Park and enjoy Jurassic World, Transformers, and The Mummy. Third, head back to the Upper Park and enjoy the Harry Potter attractions. This way, the scheduled attractions flow seamlessly into one another, minimizing time wasted. Aside from the slightly longer lines for the studio tour and the long queues for the Harry Potter tour, there were virtually no lines for the other attractions, and you can use separate lanes.

Remember to park in the pre-owned parking lot instead of the regular parking lot when you go, as this will add at least 20 minutes to your walk. The pre-owned lot costs $35 a day, while the regular lot is $15, but it's still worth it. After all, the pre-owned lot is just a short walk up the stairs to the entrance. We bought an express ticket, which cost $900+ per person. To save time, we printed out the ticket online and went straight to security. It was quite convenient.
Some rides are only open to the public at 11 o'clock, including the very fun Transformers and Return of the Mummy. It's a pity that the rapids ride was under maintenance when we went there.

For a longtime Harry Potter fan, this place is a pilgrimage. Walking down Diagon Alley, I couldn't help but think, "Thank goodness I'm 30 now! Otherwise, seeing animated Quidditch toys, Hedwig dolls, talking Sorting Hats, Nimbus 2000s, and other things in the shops would probably make me cry." When I was little, my classmates' rooms were covered in celebrity posters, while mine covered an entire wall entirely with Harry Potter and anime posters. Back then, Harry was like a religion. Before every exam, I prayed earnestly, hoping for good luck. And it always worked, haha. The realism here is incredible. Walking through a Hogwarts classroom, the paintings on the walls animate. In the Potions classroom, Harry, Hermione, and Ron are discussing something under their invisibility cloaks... And finally, the best part: riding a roller coaster (officially called a roller coaster) with 3D animation that lets you experience Harry's adventures firsthand (it's said this roller coaster is a world first, but compared to the others, this one is truly amazing). This was probably the first and only time a coward like me ever rode a roller coaster with my eyes open. It's true that belief is incredibly powerful. I won't go into detail about what I saw here, but I hope you'll go and see it for yourself; it's truly a blast.
One day should be enough time for the tour. You can go early to queue up. If you don’t want to queue up, you can buy VIP tickets (by the way, we bought tickets at a higher price because we didn’t buy them in advance. Tickets bought on site are 119 US dollars each. You can buy VIP tickets on Taobao for this price. Please buy tickets one day in advance).

Universal Studios Hollywood is located in Hollywood, a suburb north of Los Angeles. In the early 20th century, filmmakers discovered the ideal natural environment for filming and flocked to the area, gradually transforming it into a world-renowned studio. Beginning in 1912, a succession of studios were established, and by 1928, a diverse array of film companies had emerged, led by Paramount and the "Big Eight." The 1930s and 1940s were Hollywood's heyday, producing numerous iconic films and extending the influence of American cinema worldwide.

1. The park opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm. If you can arrive earlier, you will have more time and can avoid the peak hours for some projects.
2. When visiting Universal Studios Los Angeles, be sure to download the Universal CA app, which allows you to check the queue times and show schedules for each project in real time.
3. There will be a security check before entering the park. We saw a guide saying that we cannot bring large bags of food, so we only brought chocolate and water. However, it seems that the inspection is not strict, so we should be able to bring in a small amount of food.
4. There are fewer people queuing for the park's projects in the early hours, so you can go early. Go quickly when the queue for Harry Potter is less than 40 minutes, as it is usually more than 50 minutes.
5. Go to Jurassic Park early, because we had to wait for 75 minutes when the park was closing, so we didn’t dare to queue at all.
6. I didn't buy a fast-track ticket when I went to Universal Studios, and I didn't think it was worth it. If you can get up early, catch the park opening, plan your rides ahead of time, and check the queue times frequently, you'll definitely have no problem completing the day.
【Recommended shows】
The park currently has three shows: special effects show, animal actor performance, and future water world.
Personally, I think the special effects show is not to be missed. I personally feel that the performance of the animal actors is just average. If you haven't seen the Water World show in the future, you must watch it. There are so many special effects and the scene is shocking. You will get wet if you sit in the front row.
【Recommended attractions】
The studio tour and The Simpsons Project are unique to the United States and are very fun and suitable for all ages. The other projects will be available at the Beijing Universal Studios which will open in 2021, so don't miss these two projects!!!
The studio tour is available in Chinese, and you can check the schedule in advance to confirm your time. However, this project closes early, at 4:30 pm, and the tour lasts for an hour, so be sure to plan ahead! Don't miss out!
The three projects, Revenge of the Mummy, Transformers and Jurassic Park, can also be played at Universal Studios Singapore. The design and amusement projects in the Harry Potter park are exactly the same as those in Osaka.
【Reminder + Tucao】
Starting in September, Universal Studios launched a Halloween theme, with special evening shows for Halloween that required separate tickets. Because of this, the Walking Dead park was also open only at night. The park started reminding us at 4:30 PM that all rides and shows would close at 5:45 PM, which was really frustrating. I also missed the Harry Potter castle light show. Even though the price was the same, my time and excitement were squeezed by the evening activities, which was really frustrating.
Another thing to complain about is the souvenirs. I always buy a souvenir at every theme park I visit. I bought a Minion hat in Osaka and a Minion outfit in Singapore (pictured), but here! I had no desire to buy anything.
Although the things seem cheaper than those in the other two parks, they are far inferior in both design and quality!
Finally, I have to mention that the 2021 Beijing Universal Studios is the largest Universal Studios in the world. You can watch the official trailer on Weibo, and most of the projects are included.

Universal Studios parking is charged, and the closer you are to the studios, the more expensive it is. We parked in the cheaper parking structure, which requires a 10-minute walk across the commercial street to the main entrance. We ordered e-tickets from Taobao, and simply scanned the QR code at the entrance for direct entry, which was very convenient. Once inside, we grabbed a map and downloaded the Universal Studios app to check the queue times for each attraction. In the morning, the lines for Kung Fu Panda, Minions, and the Universal Studios Tour were short, so we prioritized those. Throughout the day, we managed to enjoy almost everything except the Harry Potter attraction, which was quite crowded. The Universal Studios Tour was particularly memorable. The tour takes you on a car tour around the studios. The guide explains each studio, explaining which famous films were featured, and showcases classic sets and prop cars. You can also experience special effects like floods, subway explosions, and flying cars. The entire tour takes about an hour and is truly exciting. There are scheduled Mandarin-speaking tours throughout the day, so if you prefer Mandarin, check the time in advance and wait in line. The rest of the projects are basically the routine of special effects roller coasters and 4D movies, plus themed plots. They are more exciting than sentimental, and feel a bit superficial compared to Disney.

Hollywood, the American film mecca, is located in Los Angeles. Universal Studios is also one of Los Angeles' film meccas and a member of the Hollywood studios. The most impressive thing about Universal Studios is the "situational dramas," such as dinosaurs, flash floods, and earthquake disasters. The images are lifelike, immersive, and lifelike.

It's really fun, ...

Universal Studios in Los Angeles and Disneyland in nearby Anaheim are truly incomparable! Perhaps because this Universal Studios is so small and there aren't that many attractions, there's really no need to buy an express ticket; you're guaranteed to see everything. When I went on a Friday, it was incredibly crowded, with lines lasting over 30 minutes. Even getting a Butterbeer required a queue. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic, a stark contrast to Disneyland's management. There were also tons of tour groups... but the shows were fantastic. I especially recommend Water World and the special effects—they're truly impressive. I recommend going on the Harry Potter ride right after opening, then lining up for the Studio Tour in the afternoon when it's less crowded. It's the best experience in the entire Universal Park! There's also a Chinese version of the tour available.

Universal Studios is divided into two parks, each with a theme park based on each movie.
There are Kung Fu Panda, Harry Potter, The Simpsons, Minions, and The Walking Dead in the park.
The lower park has Jurassic World, Transformers, and The Mummy Returns.
There are various performances interspersed throughout the park. It should be noted that you cannot enter after the performance has started, even if you are one second late.
Staff members dressed as movie characters will walk around the park and take photos with tourists. For example, it is not surprising to encounter a talking donkey or a dog that says hello.
The most recommended project is the "Studio Tour". If you initially feel that Universal Studios is not as big as you imagined, then after taking a tour with the tour guide, you will have an idea of how "big" it is.
Explore the filming areas of the studios by sightseeing bus, featuring sets in Mexico and New York, where reality blurs the lines between reality and fiction. Marvel at the devastation left by a plane crash after a typhoon. Witness artificial lightning and flash floods, where cutting-edge technology recreates nature. Alternatively, step inside the studio and experience reenactments of "King Kong" and "The Fate of the Furious," guaranteed to leave you screaming with excitement. We recommend taking the Mandarin-speaking sightseeing bus to ensure you don't miss out on the exciting content.

Universal Studios: It's quite different from the ones in Japan. The park is huge, divided into the Upper and Lower Parks, and features four shows. The express tickets are also much more cost-effective, as they're valid for all rides, unlike in Japan, where you can only choose four or seven. To help plan our itinerary, we downloaded an app (Universal CA), which was incredibly useful and highly recommended. It includes a park map, opening hours, and estimated wait times, so you can prioritize your itinerary based on your availability.
Recommended index of various roller coasters:
Harry Potter definitely deserves five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, it's incredibly enjoyable. Although I'm not strictly a Harry Potter fan, I still recaptured the same excitement I felt when I first watched Harry Potter in the first year of middle school. There's also Hagrid's Hippogriff in the Harry Potter park (remember Hagrid's little house? He also has an eagle, and the roller coaster is the eagle's).
Kung Fu Panda 4D Experience Theater, this one also gets five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. This theater must be changing frequently because when we booked the tickets, the map provided by the merchant was still for the Shrek 4D Theater, but when we went there, it had already been transformed into the Kung Fu Panda Theater. The experience was superb.
The Transformers virtual roller coaster—I'll give it four stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟! This roller coaster is in the lower park. Unfortunately, it broke down, and we had to wait for nearly half an hour for repairs. We were already inside, and it happened to be stuck right there, so we couldn't get out and had to wait in line. To ease everyone's nerves, the staff even gave out candies with all sorts of weird flavors, including one with mustard—amazing!!! The roller coaster was pretty fun, though.
Boys might like the Mummy Roller Coaster more, but I can only give it three stars 🌟🌟🌟, because I felt a little dizzy... and it did have a scary atmosphere, I kept my eyes closed for almost half of the ride.
I can't give stars to The Walking Dead haunted house because Mr. Jia didn't think it was scary at all. After playing it, he was still not satisfied and said that he felt the actors didn't try hard and didn't scare him much. But I was scared to death. From time to time, someone would rush out and suddenly reach out to grab you, and they were all zombies. I really can't comment on it. . . . .
The least interesting ones were the Simpsons virtual roller coaster and the Minions roller coaster, both of which I can only give two stars 🌟🌟. First, you had to watch a long short film, but I didn't think the plot was that important. Second, sitting in a small room in a car seemed a bit boring. And because of the Simpsons, I missed the last Waterworld show, which I can't help but feel a little resentful...
The rapids at Jurassic Park were not open in winter, which was a bit of a shame.
I only saw three of the four shows, but they were all very interesting. I highly recommend the special effects. You can see how hard the stuntmen really work, as well as the astronauts in Lavia.

Love it! Love it! Love it! No other!
I have a congenital problem. I can't play anything that spins in circles, or anything with extreme weightlessness. I basically vomit when I watch others play...
I wonder if there are any people like me who vomit aliens as soon as they turn around.
But I had a really great time at Universal Studios and tried all the rides!
Pay attention! Important! Be sure to download the Universal Studios LA app. It has queue times for all attractions and plans accordingly.
I spent the whole day playing all the activities and watching all the performances!
Would I say that I've watched Harry Potter 4 times? Hahahaha

During our three months in the US, Universal Studios was the most worthwhile destination, bar none. We stayed at Placentia and left early in the morning, arriving in just over an hour. Because it was early, there weren't many people, so we enjoyed everything without much queuing. The Harry Potter area had just opened before our visit, and our group of four was left looking pale and motion sick. After noon, the crowds started to fill up, and since two of our friends had been there countless times, we left early.

The fast track tickets we bought were good in every way except that they were expensive!

It's really fun and worth a visit. Remember to buy a fast track ticket.

Located in an area of Los Angeles where every inch of land is valuable, it was originally a filming site for Hollywood movies and has now become a theme park.

Friends who are interested in Hollywood movies can come and visit

I bought a 2-day ticket. It was fun. The turkey leg set meal was delicious. The studio tour bus must be in English. The Chinese version was boring and lacked atmosphere.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame, a combination of fantasy and reality. My new glasses chain was torn off while playing Harry Potter, leaving me with a heartbreaking impression during my second stop in the West. [tears][tears]

A magical journey, wonderful memories. The origin of the movie is interesting and vivid.

If you come to Los Angeles for a trip, you must go to Hollywood.

I like this place very much. It’s the first theme park I’ve visited. It’s very happy and healing.

The place is big, there are many things to see and do, you can spend a whole day there

There is nothing special to introduce about Universal Studios
A lot of online searches
I personally am not very fond of amusement parks.
But I went to Universal Studios this time and it was pretty good
Played all day
I've basically played everything I could.
From the guide map, you can see that the Harry Potter theme is the most popular.

During that time, I was crazy about "Back to the Future". When I saw the DeLorean, I was so excited. There were many fans like me around me who were taking pictures of the car crazily.

Harry Potter and the Mummy are awesome! Fast-track tickets are a great deal, so if you go early, you can queue up first and play twice!

Compared to Universal Studios Singapore, the attractions here are more focused on sensory experiences, and are basically fun for both adults and children. There are also plenty of character interactions, and you can also visit the movie sets and special effects. Most importantly, have you ever seen Megatron speak Mandarin?
It's not as fun as Universal Studios Japan, it's smaller, and doesn't even have a proper roller coaster. The most popular attraction is, of course, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It's less crowded right at opening, but it gets really crowded in the afternoon. Buying the express ticket is a good deal. We arrived early in the morning, queued up to ride Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, and The Mummy, then used the express ticket to ride all three rides twice (though it wasn't that fun). The rides weren't very interesting, but the Waterworld and special effects shows were pretty good.

We were very lucky that we went during the off-season. We arrived at Universal Studios at 9:30 in the morning and by 11:30 we had ridden the Harry Potter roller coaster, the small roller coaster next to Harry Potter, the Mummy roller coaster, the Transformers roller coaster and the Simpsons roller coaster.
Originally we wanted to go to the lower park to play Transformers and The Mummy first, but the opening hours of the lower park and the upper park are different. The lower park does not open until 11 o'clock, so it is recommended that you check the time on the official website in advance and customize the most reasonable route.
Butterbeer is just soda and milk cap, and at $10 it’s not a very good deal. I will definitely save some money and not buy it next time!

Universal Studios is divided into two parks: Upper and Lower. The two parks are connected by an elevator that's angled at about 50 to 60 degrees. There are three sections, each about 20 to 30 meters long. Since we visited on a Tuesday, which was a workday in the US, there weren't many people at all. This was the most enjoyable, least rushed, least crowded, and therefore the most fun amusement park I've ever been to. Both parks offer exciting and worthwhile attractions. Since it wasn't crowded, we just ran up and down, up and down again, back and forth. The elevator ride took about three minutes each way, and we tried almost every attraction. I recommend Harry Potter (I did it twice), Minions, Water World, the animal shows, Kung Fu Panda, Transformers, and many more. Many of the rides are 3D roller coasters. Riding on a virtual roller coaster, you accelerate and decelerate as the scenes change, swaying left and right as you follow the characters up mountains and into the sea. It's incredibly immersive and feels incredibly real.
The Studio Tour, which lasts over an hour, involves a guided tour of Hollywood blockbuster sets, including Universal Studios' studios, sound stages, and props. The tour also showcases the filming methods used for various scenes and stunts. You'll see scenes from Fast & Furious and King Kong, as well as flash floods and fires. The Studio Tour offers Chinese commentary, but it departs approximately every hour. English tours depart every 15 minutes.

I didn't buy an extra express ticket because Universal Studios Hollywood doesn't use express tickets during the off-season and on weekends. There are almost no queues for any of the projects. No need to waste that money~ Of course, if you have money, you can do whatever you want~
There is no need to print the e-ticket, you can enter the park quickly by simply scanning the barcode on your phone.
You can get a map upon entering the park, but it seems to be only in English. If you don't need a map, it's okay. I recommend downloading the Universal Studios Hollywood app, which shows you wait times and show times for all attractions open that day.
Universal Studios Hollywood is actually not very big, and the Jurassic Park is still under renovation. It is completely fenced off and you can't get in. It's a bit of a pity.
However, although we went very late, there were not many people, and we basically played all the projects and popular shows.
We played all the open projects that day, except Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and the Special Effects Show, in just half a day.
The peripheral products are still so excellent that people can’t help but want to buy them!
It was already past 7 o'clock when we left Universal Studios. It was completely dark, and the sign at the entrance was lit up with colorful lights, which was particularly dreamy.

I bought and printed my tickets online in advance for the studios. They were cheaper than buying them at the door and there was no waiting time. Universal Studios usually opens at 10:00, but going at 9:30 allowed me to get in early. What did I do there? Of course, I wanted to take some clean, unobstructed photos, especially of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which was incredibly crowded right after opening. The first thing I did after entering was get a map to get my bearings. They said there was one in Chinese, but I couldn't find it.
Universal Studios is divided into the Upper and Lower Parks. The Upper Park features attractions like the Universal Studios Journey, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Waterworld, Minions, The Simpsons, and The Walking Dead; the Lower Park boasts Transformers, Revenge of the Mummy, and Jurassic Park. These are all must-see classic attractions. It's recommended to check which Universal Studios Journey Chinese tours are scheduled upon arrival (as the Chinese tours offer a deeper understanding of the park's wonders). Then, head straight to the Lower Park, as crowds gather in the Upper Park during this time, avoiding peak hours for a more enjoyable experience. Remember to return to the Upper Park before the Chinese tours start to avoid missing out. The Universal Studios Journey is a classic, and after a 40-minute ride, you can head to Waterworld.
The Walking Dead Museum is a place where children can be frightened to tears and adults can even pee their pants. It’s really thrilling to be there!

Universal Studios is crowded. If your time is not arranged properly and you can't play many projects in a day, it is recommended to go to the lower park first.

I bought my Universal Studios ticket on Taobao before leaving for the trip for 535 RMB. I could enter with my printed voucher, which was very convenient. Universal Studios is divided into the Upper and Lower Parks, and the Lower Park is accessed via a long escalator. The Lower Park features Transformers, The Mummy, and Jurassic Park. I even ran into Marilyn Monroe at the elevator entrance! Universal Studios' rides are mostly 3D and roller coaster-style, so you can choose a few to try. Our first choice was the incredibly terrifying Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride. It's the scariest indoor roller coaster ever, with screams piercing the darkness. It was a hair-raising experience!
The Upper Park train tour is available in Chinese, so be aware of the time. The tour takes you past many Hollywood blockbuster productions, including STAGE 25, where Jurassic Park was produced, and The Voice of America. It's packed with surprises and special effects, giving you a sense of the action!
I bought my Universal Studios tickets online before leaving the country. I could enter with my printed voucher, which was very convenient. The parking garage is right next to City Walk at the entrance to the studios. Parking is divided into three levels based on your entrance distance, with cheaper rates the further you get. I chose the cheaper option, as it's not far. Universal Studios is divided into the Upper and Lower Parks, with a long escalator leading down to the Lower Park. The Lower Park features Transformers, The Mummy, and Jurassic Park. I even ran into Marilyn Monroe at the Lower Park elevator entrance! Universal Studios' attractions are mostly 3D with a roller coaster twist, so you can choose a few to try. Our first ride was the incredibly terrifying Revenge of the Mummy - The Ride. It was the scariest indoor roller coaster, with screams piercing the darkness. It was a hair-raising experience! My friend was completely terrified and almost vomited, and has since developed a dislike for 3D roller coasters. The Upper Park train tour is available in Chinese, so be mindful of the times. The tour takes you past many Hollywood blockbuster production sets, including STAGE 25, where Jurassic Park was made, and The Voice of America, etc. There are many surprises along the way, with lots of special effects and blockbuster experiences!

I recommend going early so you can have more fun. One advantage of Universal Studios Los Angeles is that Americans tend to get up late, so there aren't many people there. The longest line is only an hour and a half, compared to the 2-3 hours often seen at Disneyland in China. The actual wait time is around 20 minutes during peak hours.
Note: The entire park is not very large, so don't worry about the distance. Play the popular ones first. The lower park opens after 11 o'clock, so you can rush there directly after it opens. I personally don't think it's necessary to buy an express ticket unless you want to play a project several times.
The sightseeing bus is in no particular order! You can watch whichever one you catch, but I highly recommend it! Before boarding, grab your 3D glasses. We were wondering why we needed them, but thankfully we did, because the bus drives through various rooms, shakes back and forth, and sprays water. It's a 3D movie.
We saw three other shows: one with animal performers, one with movie special effects, and one with Water World. I wouldn't recommend any of them. If you absolutely must see one, stick with Water World; the other two are more suitable for children. Before you go, download the Universal app for the official schedule, including queue times and location information. There's also a light show at 8 p.m., which is well worth seeing. The show was almost over after that.

Universal Studios is divided into two areas, the Upper and Lower Parks. After we finished our Harry Potter adventure, we lined up for the Studio Tour. Since the Chinese version had a time limit, we waited for the Lower Park to open and headed straight to line up. There were more Chinese groups in the morning, so luckily we were near the front of the line, otherwise we might not have been able to get a spot. We were in a Chinese group, and it was really awkward because some of the elderly people there really needed to improve their manners. The guide repeatedly told us not to stand up for photos, but they kept standing up, blocking everyone's view even though they could see clearly from their seats. The guide repeatedly stopped to ask everyone to sit down, and we felt incredibly embarrassed on the bus. Despite the awkwardness, the Studio Tour, a special attraction at Universal Studios Los Angeles, was quite enjoyable. Mr. M suggested they opt for the English version, which offers more screenings and saves them from having to endure the guide's broken Chinese and the embarrassment of being in the group.
We had lunch at the Universal Studios restaurant and spent the afternoon exploring the rest of the park. Transformers, Minions, Jurassic World, and The Simpsons were all fantastic experiences. Sometimes the line would say an hour, but the actual wait was only about ten minutes. Sometimes, when the line was long, we'd just queue for a single lane, meaning we didn't sit together, which saved us a lot of time. I don't know if it's because everyone is so well-mannered, but amusement parks in the United States feel incredibly efficient. You line up in an orderly fashion, move forward, get on a ride when it's your turn, and get off the other side when you're done. It's a seamless experience, with no awkward moments. Americans are also very open-minded, and you often see childlike excitement on adults' faces. Whether it's screaming on a roller coaster or discussing movies in line, it's clear that the people are incredibly happy. We were raised to be mature, reserved, and even in such a relaxed environment, we couldn't let loose. Although we couldn't quite reach the same level of excitement as Americans, we still had a blast at Universal Studios, feeling like children.
We finished all the attractions at about 4:30. We all felt that Universal Studios brought us more pleasure than Disney. Although Disney is much larger and has many more attractions, we were probably too tired on the first day and had not adjusted to the time difference, so we could not fully experience its fun. Next time we come, we must wait until the time difference is adjusted before playing in the amusement park.

All the rides here are 3D virtual, making them incredibly thrilling. They're perfect for a timid wife, and even children are welcome. The correct order for visiting Universal Studios is to enter right after the gates open, head straight to the lower section, ride the Transformers and Mummy rides, then return to the upper section, ride the Simpsons roller coaster first, and take in various shows in between. This way, you can complete the entire experience in one day (and even repeat it). Otherwise, if you end up riding the Simpsons ride like we did, the 50-minute line is truly excruciating.
The most fun thing about the whole tour should be the water world. The performance is so shocking, and the various explosions and fights are very exciting. My wife likes the Hipson roller coaster.

There's no Universal Studios in China, but if you're visiting the US, it's a must-see. The full day was truly thrilling: Harry Potter, a studio tour, Transformers, Minions, The Mummy, Water World, The Walking Dead, and the Avenue of Stars... Split into three groups and have a blast!
In the contrast between China and the West, feeling the virtual and the real, the thrill and the excitement, the cultural impact and the technological surfing, this is definitely not something that can be expressed by the realistic 4D special effects and advanced technology. Any language seems pale and powerless. Many people want to do many projects again, and indeed they did it again. . . . I want to play it again.

We spent a whole day at Universal Studios. The entire studio is divided into several areas according to different functions, and each area has a different architectural style.
There are many real-life fans in the film and television city who dress up as famous movie characters or dolls and take photos with tourists for free.

I bought two fast passes and spent half a day visiting the Harry Potter Pavilion, Transformers Pavilion, Mummy Pavilion, The Simpsons Pavilion, etc. I also took a film and television introduction tour to learn about the production process of American TV scene shots.

Universal Studios Hollywood is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and even on non-holidays, queues form at the entrance before 9:00 PM, so it's best to arrive early. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a must-see for tourists, and the entrance is usually packed after 10:00 PM, so it's wise to enter the Wizarding World first if you're early.
After personal experience, I found that there is no need to buy fast tickets for Universal Studios. With reasonable arrangements, you can play all the projects, and the waiting time will not exceed half an hour. Of course, the premise is that you don’t sleep in.
The Griffith Observatory, located on top of Mount Hollywood, is a great place to enjoy the night view of Los Angeles.
Opening hours: Closed on Mondays, 12:00-22:00 from Tuesday to Friday, 10:00-22:00 on weekends.
To be honest, Los Angeles is a little different from what I expected.
Perhaps the California sunshine described by Mr. Ai Dajin is too bright, or perhaps the Universal Studios in my mind is too magical.
Even the famous planet at the entrance of Universal Studios was not as big as I imagined.
However, as an atypical movie fan who grew up watching Hollywood movies, checking in at Universal Studios still occupies a significant place in my heart, like a pilgrimage.

I think it is the best Universal Studios. I experienced the Wizarding World of Harry Potter again.

To cover all the attractions in one day is definitely a test of physical and mental strength.
The first thing to do upon entering the park is to quickly check the schedule for each attraction. If you arrive a little later in the morning, you'll often see long lines forming at the upper park, so make sure to head to the lower park to try a few attractions first. For food, the fries and chicken leg combo and nacho combo at The Simpsons are delicious! The Butterbeer is also excellent; be sure to grab a glass. They come in different flavors.

Once you enter the parking building, the staff will ask you what kind of parking lot you want to park in. Just say "general" and the parking fee is $25. It's just a little more walking. Closer parking lots are more expensive.
From 9:15am to 9:45pm, we spent twelve and a half hours at Universal Studios Hollywood!!! This surpassed the previous record set at Universal Studios Osaka last year.
I tried all five attractions—"Harry Potter," "The Simpsons," "Transformers," "Minions," and "Studio Tour"—twice! I also saw the 4D movie "Kung Fu Panda." The three shows—"Water World," "Special Effects Show," and "Animal Actors"—were all fantastic!

If you are interested in American film and television entertainment, it is worth a visit. It mainly relies on movie scenes and special effects to bring a more realistic audio-visual experience to the audience.
Many staff members in the park are dressed in costumes, portraying characters from movies and TV shows. You can take photos with them, and enthusiastic staff will take photos with you. Sometimes you have to wait in line, but you'll see how expressive these "characters" are. They strike different poses with different people and at different times, and they'll enthusiastically interact with you.

I love Universal Studios so much! If there was one right next to my house, I'd go every day. Universal Studios offers three types of tickets, plus a VIP pass. The Express Pass: Buy time and try to see everything you want. The important thing to note is that you have to confirm your time with the Express Pass; you can't change or refund it. The Express Pass is fantastic! We tried every ride, and there were practically no lines. We finished at a leisurely 3:00 PM. Parking: I'd read many guides about parking, but they said it was difficult, so we decided to go with the $30 parking lot. It was incredibly busy, so we could park anywhere, and it was close to the entrance. We started in the lower park, enjoying Transformers, The Mummy, and Jurassic Park, and finished everything in less than an hour. I've been to Universal Studios Japan, and the Express Pass is much better than that. It's good for all rides.

The parking fee is $25 for the whole day, which is really expensive.
We happened to be there on the weekend, and the number of people visiting the park was probably the same as Shanghai Disneyland...
I still have to have a glass of butterbeer!
It's actually a completely non-alcoholic soft drink. The beer-like foam on top is milk frosting, and the bottom is soda. It actually tastes pretty good.
The entire movie park is divided into two parts: the upper and lower levels. The lower level only has three attractions: The Mummy (an indoor roller coaster), Transformers (a 4D ride), and Jurassic River Adventure. However, the Jurassic River Adventure was closed when we visited...
Enjoy a one-hour bus tour of the filming locations (feel free! Plus, a guide!). Step into the worlds of ABC's hit series "Desperate Housewives" and blockbuster films like "The War of the Worlds," "King Kong," "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," "Jaws," and "Psycho," and experience the special effects scenes up close.

I bought my tickets in advance on China-TravelNote. I'd read a lot of guides saying I had to buy a direct ticket! Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to enjoy the tour! But after careful consideration, I decided to buy a standard ticket. It turned out to be a great decision!
reason:
1. It was off-season when we went, and it wasn't the weekend, so there weren't many people.
2. Because I was with my 2 and a half year old child, I didn’t plan to play all the games.
3. Grandma and aunt can't play much
4. Children under 3 years old are free of charge because each project has height requirements for children, and Americans are quite demanding.
5. The price difference between regular tickets and through tickets is not a little bit
Based on the above reasons, I finally decided to buy regular tickets! Four tickets costing RMB 615 each.
Tickets are electronic and can be saved on your phone or printed out. Simply scan the barcode on the ticket when you arrive. It's incredibly convenient! Best of all, it's cheaper than buying tickets in person!
Universal Studios is divided into the Upper Park and the Lower Park, which are connected by an escalator.
Upper Park: Despicable Me Minions 3D Roller Coaster, The Walking Dead Haunted House, Water World, Family Fun Roller Coaster, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Studio Tour, The Simpsons Virtual Roller Coaster, Universal Studios Animal Performer Stage
Lower Park: King Kong 360-degree 3D Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy Roller Coaster, Jurassic Park Rapids
In addition, there is an electronic screen in front of each project, showing the waiting time for each project.

The Universal Studios doesn't have any particularly scary roller coasters, but rather 3D and motion-sensing simulations. The experience perfectly complements the storyline. I played Quidditch with Harry, went on adventures with the Minions, and even experienced The Walking Dead, Transformers, and The Mummy, which my friends hadn't dared to try. There's also a Universal Studios train tour with Chinese commentary, giving you a detailed understanding of how the movies are made. The Universal Studios closed at 6 p.m., perhaps because there weren't any fireworks?

The first thing to do when you enter the door is to get a Chinese map. After you have found the correct location, you can follow the order. The map is on the right side of the door.
Most of the rides are on the upper level, while the lower level includes three of the studio's more classic rides: Transformers, The Mummy, and Jurassic World, which were particularly popular back then.
I bought express tickets specifically for the purpose of having fun, which allows me to use the fast lane once for each project!
If you have an express ticket, you can take the Hogwarts train first and then enter the castle, otherwise you will feel rushed and miss the fun.
There are three types of parking lots. Choose the ordinary one. After parking, remember the location of your car and take photos if necessary. It is best to arrive at the entrance of the scenic area before 9 o'clock. Unlike Osaka, there are more interactive photos here. I experienced different versions of Harry Potter, which is different from the one in Osaka. It's still fun hahahaha or or~
Jurassic Park in the Lower Park was closed for maintenance. We had lunch inside the park. It was expensive, but not outrageous.
The walking dead scared Xiao Zicai a lot, but the author of the post was at ease.
I missed the Chinese version of the Studio Travel tour last time, so I watched The Walking Dead first and then waited in line again. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to take the Chinese version. The English version is easy to understand with its pictures and text.
The Hollywood filming location shows how the weather changes during filming and how floods occur - it's so magical!
There are not as many projects as Universal Studios Osaka, and there is no fast ticket, but I still played all of them. I hope to check in all Universal Studios
