It's a place I desperately want to visit. Whenever I travel anywhere, I always want to experience the local university campus. The youthful energy, positivity, and academic geniuses there always inexplicably draw me in.
Walking through the UCLA library, I felt the fragrance of books. UCLA's campus is truly beautiful, brimming with a scholarly atmosphere, and the students are incredibly active. While walking around campus, I happened to see a club recruiting new students, setting up a small stall, much like university clubs in China. I happened to capture a photo of a lively hot dog boy dancing.

There wasn't any free parking on campus, so we parked on the street outside. UCLA isn't a very large campus, but it's beautiful. Their official color is blue, and the school's most popular photo spot is probably a sculpture of a bear, the Bruins, the school's official animal. UCLA students say they're sworn enemies of USC, whose official animal is the Trojans. The two schools often play each other, and during games, some students go to the other school and vandalize or spray-paint the other's statues.

Our group was on a study tour, so not only did we visit the school, we were also lucky enough to attend several classes. I remember the second day's lecture was by an Asian woman with big, beautiful eyes. I loved the desks and chairs; they were conveniently and comfortably designed. However, the lunch we ordered was a large Burger King burger and a large Coke. The burger was dry, and the Coke was cold. It was quite unpleasant afterward. Hehe.

The university campus is open, the environment is good, and it feels very free.

The style of UCLA is completely different from that of MIT, Harvard and Yale in the East. The style of West Coast schools is cheerful and free-spirited. Compared with the rigorous academic style of Eastern schools, Western schools tend to learn through play. The school is full of students skateboarding. Students holding parasols and wearing sunglasses can also be seen eating and drinking on campus. The style of the library is not an antique learning atmosphere.

The environment couldn't be better. It's worthy of being a world-class university. What a blessing it is to be able to live and study here. While walking around the campus, I wondered: Did Kang Yong also walk this road in his past?

The beautiful campus, with its cloudless blue sky and greenery, really puts me in a good mood. It feels right to be a UCLA student here.

A top public university in the United States with a beautiful campus and strong scientific research, teaching and sports capabilities.

Compared to Stanford, I prefer UCLA's campus and culture. Sports are one of UCLA's core values. The campus is full of sports facilities and venues, including rugby, tennis, basketball, and more. UCLA has always been a renowned sports school in the US.

Famous university, beautiful campus, good cafeteria.

The campus is a one-way loop. Walking around the campus makes me feel like I'm back in college. There are many Chinese people on campus, and they are all living their American dreams. (Parking is not allowed on campus.)

To make an appointment, you can go to the UCLA official website. Upon arrival, find the auditorium where the campus tour will be held for an information session. They mainly discussed the university's strengths, courses offered, the campus environment, and the standardized test requirements for admission—all standard, official information.
The campus is incredibly large, and we barely covered half of the 1.5-hour campus tour. Besides explaining the functions of the various buildings, the tour guide spent most of the time sharing stories about the campus. These are things you wouldn't hear during a campus tour, but these stories can help students understand the university, so registering for a campus tour is essential.

The campus is located near Beverly Hills, a wealthy area in Los Angeles. It's also very safe, spacious, and has a cohesive architectural style. The campus environment is also wonderful. The most famous attractions are Royce Hall and Powell Library. The bronze statue of the school's mascot, a bear, is also well-known and worth a visit.

I had actually looked up UCLA before going, but I had received a lot of negative reviews, like inconvenient parking and poor security. So I canceled my trip, but I still have an inexplicable interest in colleges (please continue to ignore our occupational illness), so I decided to drive over and take a look.
We decided it would be a good idea to drive around the campus and see the sign for the school's parking lot. We followed the signs to the rooftop parking garage. After parking and studying the meter, we discovered the parking system was quite reasonable. Besides day and time-of-day parking options, there's also a time-based parking fee system. We chose an hour, paid about 3 yuan, put the bill on the windshield, and headed out for our next stroll.
An hour is just enough to visit the new campus and have lunch. If you also want to go to the old campus across the street, the time is not enough.
The tourist's mission is to find a bear~haha, it's the big brown bear on the California state flag.
Unfortunately, there was a group of tourists nearby, and a man was feeding pork elbows to the bear. I could only take such a funny photo.
Another task was to find food. Based on our many years of experience working in universities, at this time of noon, we could always find food by following the crowd. We walked among the large group of students and finally saw a place that looked like a cafeteria. We took a look and saw a buffet. No, no, maybe outsiders were not allowed to eat there.
So, I walked around a bit more and found two cafes with lines that looked pretty good. So, I joined the queue. After looking at the menu, I realized the prices were quite high. I suddenly missed the cafeteria back at school, where the food was so good and the prices so low. I asked the staff and they said they accepted credit cards, so we each ordered a chicken sandwich.
The chicken sandwich was about ten dollars, and the portion was huge, but the taste was a bit disappointing. I only managed to finish half of it, so I saved the other half for my husband's dinner. Haha~

UCLA and the Lakers are now training at the rehabilitation center.

UCLA is a prestigious university with numerous famous alumni. It's been a host to every Olympic Games since 1928. The campus is large and inviting, with a hilly, uphill setting somewhat reminiscent of Sichuan Normal University. The entire campus is quite large, and compared to other universities in central Taiwan, it has a much larger student population. It blends seamlessly into the surrounding residential area, so much so that after a quick stroll, we realized we couldn't find our parking lot (there are nine large parking lots on campus).

Many famous universities abroad are open-plan, blending seamlessly into the streets and surrounding areas. This was true when I visited the University of Melbourne in Australia, and it was also true when I visited universities in Germany. You can simply cross the street and enter the university. It's nothing like the enclosed campuses of Chinese universities, where you have to enter through a gate. My visit to UCLA happened to coincide with graduation season, and students in their graduation attire were taking pictures at their campus. Thousands of white benches were arranged on the lawn, awaiting the ceremony. A flight of stairs led to the plaza at the entrance to the library, where the graduation ceremony was held, leading to the lawn tea party. Everyone in their graduation attire took photos, a sight to behold. The university's architecture is dominated by antique buildings with red walls. Set against the greenery and lush trees, it's breathtakingly beautiful. UCLA also has a large Chinese student population. Although the library is only two stories high, the carvings on the staircase give it a soothing, ancient feel.

If you have a classmate who studies at UCLA and can show you around the campus, that would be great. The campus is huge and the buildings are beautiful. If you want to fully explore the campus, you'll need more than three hours.

UCLA is in an excellent location, surrounded by the wealthy areas of Los Angeles. The security is relatively good, and the campus is fully open and very grand. The buildings on the campus are a blend of modern and retro styles, with brick red as the main color and green vegetation, solemn and elegant. The buildings in the central area of the campus are long-standing and full of classical temperament. Sitting on the grass on the hillside, it is also a great way to daydream about becoming a top student.

The campus atmosphere is so good that my four-year-old daughter fell in love with UCLA and even said she wants to go to school here in the future.

We entered UCLA, but we had no idea what to see. We passed a stadium that looked like some kind of event was going on. We wanted to stop in the parking lot and walk around, but the parking lot cashier seemed to be malfunctioning, so we turned around and left. UCLA was just a fleeting glimpse.

Transportation is not convenient, so it is usually more convenient to take an Uber. The school is very safe.

My first impression of an American campus was: the greenery is so beautiful. There were no signs prohibiting entry to the lawn, and many students were sitting and chatting. I bought a really cute book at the UCLA bookstore, a miniature version of Charles Dickens. Even the saleswoman said she had never read it before.

I have always had a fond yearning for American universities, but I also have another underlying feeling for UCLA.
Strolling around the UCLA campus, a strange yet familiar feeling arises. The tranquil campus, with its red and white Italian brick buildings, is scattered throughout the vast campus. Standing in Dixon Plaza on North Campus, neatly arranged lawns frame the straight and curving red and white sidewalks, creating a striking contrast with the Italianate architecture on either side.
Sitting on the lawn in the sun, watching the students of all colors pass by, I felt a surge of envy. On this nearly century-old campus, what evoked in me was not nostalgia for college life, but rather an endless stream of regret.

I went to UCLA on the way and walked around a few times, but couldn't find any visitor parking. The parking lots that the navigation found were either dead ends or reserved parking spaces. In fact, there was a visitor parking building near one of the exits, and there was also an information desk next to that exit. I had no feeling for the campus environment at all. From a sightseeing perspective, there was really no need to arrange it here.

The second-ranked public school in California and the United States. I hope my children can go to such a university. Influenced by the city of Los Angeles, this school has a strong humanistic atmosphere.

A master in the university world, one can only look up to. Five-star recommendation.
In terms of architectural style, I felt that I was not going to UCLA, but to a medieval Romanesque church in Italy.

UCLA is also an important talent supply base for Wall Street. The school is beautiful and the security around it is surprisingly good (not a negative comment).

Haha, it was raining that morning and we were driving to get breakfast. The navigation got us wrong and we ended up inside the university. Universities abroad don't have walls, so we just drove right in. It was a really nice environment. We drove around looking for an exit, but when we finally reached a dead end, we turned around and headed back!

A famous American university, very beautiful and rich in historical heritage.

You absolutely have to go abroad to experience the true charm of a prestigious university. Harry Potter even filmed there. Foreign universities are truly the dream university of my life, with European-style architecture and large lawns where students sit or lie on to read or discuss projects. There are also plenty of club activities where everyone gathers to have fun. It's such a carefree atmosphere, exactly what university life should be like. I'm so envious! Since it's summer vacation, there aren't many students on campus, and many of the college buildings are locked. Even if there are students, they're probably in the library, but without a card, you can't get in.

UCLA is top 1 public university in the United States!!!
Go Bruin

The buildings are very distinctive and the university is crowded, but it is very quiet.

Other people's university series. The campus is super beautiful.

American universities are very historical, and the buildings on campus are all a sight to behold. This is a large garden, and it is well worth a visit!

Prestigious schools are often very good looking.
Is it the same as the fact that talented women all have temperament?

UCLA is the largest campus in the UC system. The architecture is very unique and you can go and have a look. Since you are in LA, you can also collect some check-in records of famous universities.

The architectural features are not obvious, but the neighborhood is quieter than other places in Los Angeles.

Because of its convenient location, UCLA is quite safe and suitable for Chinese students. The school is quite large and the buildings are beautiful.

The campus is very large and is divided into many campuses. You can spend half a day walking around the campus. The sports facilities and stadiums are first-class. There are often world-class competitions or training. The campus buildings are distinctive.

This is considered one of the more beautiful campuses. There is a bear mascot in the middle of the campus.
The campus style is quite similar to USC. However, the mascot is much bigger than USC's, and the bear is obviously more popular in group photos.

The campus is large, quiet and beautiful! The buildings look quite old and antique!

UCLA is famous, but it's actually quite small, so it's nice to walk around.

If things hadn't happened at home, I might have tried studying abroad to broaden my horizons and become a better person. Now, after studying all the way through a top-tier university in China, I still feel a bit rustic and underwhelming. A beautiful woman in a humble home can never compare to a beautiful, wealthy woman. Alas. The campus is beautiful, with a medieval feel that suggests centuries of history. Unlike Chinese universities, which often look like nouveau riche, the campus is especially beautiful for taking photos during golden hour. The library is free to enter and leave. It's also very user-friendly.

I drove there and there are plenty of parking garages, which seem to be free. The campus is very large, with the main Royce Hall and the library next to each other, making for a beautiful environment for taking photos.

Unfortunately, the sun set too quickly and I didn't have time to go to the beach to watch the sunset. I went to UCLA nearby. The low houses in the middle of this short road from Getty have a fairy-tale feel.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the school gate after wandering around for a long time. I suspected that as an open university, it might not have a main gate as I imagined. I randomly found a secluded place to park my car, and then ran around the campus in the dark. After a while, I got lost.
I don’t know if it was because it was a holiday, but I didn’t run into many students at school. I wandered around the dormitories and cafeteria, but ultimately didn’t find the classic Harry Potter-like campus buildings I’d seen in the guide. Fortunately, I learned how to buy hot chocolate from a vending machine, which marked the beginning of my daily hot chocolate routine in the US.

The campus culture is incredibly rich. I was just there for a social exchange, but I already felt a strong sense of belonging. UCLA logos can be seen everywhere, and everyone is wearing UCLA clothing: students, staff, and locals. The campus culture is so strong, it instills a strong sense of pride. There's even a UCLA Store selling all sorts of UCLA-branded merchandise, and of course, I took a photo with Florentino there. But when it comes to beautiful campus architecture and scenery, I think any historic university in China rivals it. But LA's climate is amazing—not too cold, not too hot, and plenty of sunshine.

The school is built on the mountain, the scenery is great, but there are too many stairs

A strong American university atmosphere~~~~~~~~~~The souvenir shop is quite large but not cheap

Beautiful campus, green grassland, it’s so comfortable to take a nap in it!

Very good; a university worth visiting, with nice scenery

As someone who once received an offer from UCLA, though I didn't become an alumnus, visiting here makes me feel like, if there's a parallel universe, this is the magical campus I once was. Those feelings aside, UCLA offers a vibrant campus atmosphere. Compared to the more aloof Stanford, UCLA feels infinitely more down-to-earth. The campus is beautiful, the architecture is magnificent, the students are friendly, the shopping malls are spacious, and the parking fines are reasonable...

The school environment is very beautiful~~ I love UCLA very much

I feel like going to college again, or maybe you can go and have a look. Maybe your next generation will study hard and work hard.

Royce Hall is the most photogenic...

The second best university in the University of California system, a very beautiful school, but the tuition is very expensive.

Haha, actually the campus is quite big and the environment is pretty good, but the campus is too big

UCLA is an open university without a campus. Our hotel in Los Angeles is right next to the school, and the school's various teaching buildings are scattered.

Dream school students sigh in despair

Arriving at the campus, we could only judge the area by the architecture and roadside signs, as there were no walls. We parked in the parking garage near the concert hall and set off for a quick tour! The architectural style throughout the campus is consistent, a classical style with a mix of red and beige bricks. We saw many Chinese people visiting along the way, and to Chinese people, UCLA is a tourist hotspot like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The most famous building on campus is Royce Hall, which hosts a variety of world-class performances year-round. We were lucky enough to snag three tickets for the symphony. Since it was a benefit for children, tickets were free, but the website suggested a $10 donation per ticket. It wasn't mandatory; donations of $1 or nothing were also accepted. I think we gave $10 for three tickets, so it felt awkward to eat for free.

It’s been so great to study here for six years!

If you go to Beverly Hills, you can also stop by here for lunch.

The environment is very good, with some very distinctive buildings. There are also many places to eat around, and it's a school, haha

The university is located on a hill, making it a bit inconvenient to get around. Driving is easy as long as you know the way. I almost transferred to a great public university there.

After the plane landed, we picked up the car and rushed to the first attraction here to experience the United States for the first time.

There are a lot of Chinese students, both attending school and attending summer camp. The school environment is nice and the buildings are very historic, but I personally feel that there are too many Chinese students.

We visited the University of California, Los Angeles at noon on May 21, 2016. We drove around most of the campus. American universities are generally open, with no walls or gates. If you find the fountain on campus, you've basically found the heart of the campus. American schools are large, and there are bus stops throughout the campus for easy access. We couldn't find a parking spot, so we had to leave one person in the car, fearing it would be towed, which would cost $150. We quickly took a few photos and left. Unexpectedly, upon returning, we heard about a shooting. A student had shot a teacher and then committed suicide.

It's very big and beautiful. I saw many students with Asian faces. It's free to park next to the school and then go in for a walk.

It had a distinct American university vibe, which was a real boost for me. We came to this place to participate in the Robotics World Championship that year. Unfortunately, we made it through the group stage but were eliminated in the first knockout round.

When I go to a city, I always love going to a famous university. UCLA was one of my dream schools, so I decided to go there to fulfill my wish. The school is in a great location, has good security, and a beautiful campus.

The school is so big that students have to take taxis to go to class. Many of the buildings and plants are very interesting.

beat LA! beat LA! beat LA! beat LA! beat LA! beat LA! beat LA! beat LA!

Great campus, I really hope to study in a place like this

I am lucky to be here for exchange. When the weather is good, the red teaching building is very beautiful.
The university is some distance away from downtown and can only be reached by car.
There are many parking garages on campus, but most of them charge by the day, which is not cost-effective for those of us who just want to take a quick look.
Opposite the Big Bear is the official store of UCLA. The first floor sells various products with the school name printed on them, including key chains, towels, T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc. There are also many joint models with Champion, Under Armour, and Columbia. We each bought a Champion joint hoodie, and the total cost including tax was $92.
