from Fenghuang to Mt. Fanjing
Hi everybody, I will be in Fenghuang in June and I plan to reach Mt. Fanjing.
What are the transport options (bus/car+driver)?
Is it going to be crowded during the weekend?

There is coach at 09:00 from Fenghuang Central Bus Station to Mt. Fanjing. It will not be crowded during weekend, but avoid holidays.
Or you can hire a car with driver, and you can directly consult your hotel. Usually, they will have a lot of this kind of information.
Thanks, we found the direct bus from Fenghuang. It indeed leaves at 9am from the bus station. Small bus (20 seats), direct route, 1 hour driving time, 60 Yuan per person, looks convenient. We asked our hotel to book the ticket since seats are limited and we picked up the ticket in a dedicated window (nr.5) at the station. No queue. Do not jump on the Tongren bus, be sure you ask multiple time (big bus=wrong bus)
It actually took us 3 hours since it goes into Tongren city... still enough to do a rushed visit to the top and be back for the retun bus leaving at 17:00 to Tongren
