Hi everyone, me and my husband will visit Japan end of August and we are super excited.
We stay in Tokyo for 5 nights and I started doing some research almost one year ago and booked the Keio Plaza Hotel after reading a lot about Tokyo.
Now I see some not so good reviews and I am getting second thoughts about the hotel so please can anyone who stayed their help me out.
We were looking for a clean and modern room a good breakfast
( both Japanese as International ) a hotel in a good location to see the first timers tourist places but for us the most important thing " a very quiet room " as we are such bad sleepers ( we have no traffic where we live )
we booked a cat 2 room information is 30 m 22-34th floor main tower or 20th-33 floor south tower
breakfast included.
did we make a wrong decision ? if so is there an alternative you can suggest us ?
thank you all so much for your time to answer me
have a wonderful day

I haven't stayted there but when I visit in the morning, usually there are long queues outside the breakfast restaurants at Keio Plaza. It is quite easy to have breakfast at coffee shops near hotels in Tokyo.
Is there a review saying it is noisy there?
The Keio Plaza is a solid 4* hotel. Their rooms are quiet enough even for light sleepers. In terms of the room, facilities, breakfast, and location, it's hard to beat Keio Plaza. What’s your room rate?
Of course, there are much better hotels if you're willing to pay for it. How much can you stretch your budget? Remember that hotels are really high these days and you'll have to pay 70,000+ yen per night for top hotels. A great 5* costs 100,000 yen per night.
Yes there are some bad reviews about the Keio plaza in terms of diry old rooms and thin walls so noise from neighbours and street.
We've booked this hotel a very long time ago room rate was back than Total price(Tax included): ¥ 228,200 for 5 nights
Arrival Date: 26th Aug 2024
Departure Date: 31st Aug 2024 so mot that bad, yes we are willing to pay for a higher amount but if there are no complaints about this hotel related to clean and quiet we would keep it.
Thoughts ?
Thanks, good night.
I'm a regular guest at the KP. I would have no issues returning there for my next visit.
See how much they're charging for the same room now and also check the similar-class hotels in the area such as the Hilton and Hyatt Regency. I think you'll find you got a good deal. Also, remember that all hotels have some bad reviews, even the very top hotels.
Dr. Shibuyakko We are Hilton and Hyatt members but last time I checked their prices were very high, I will.check all 3 again to see what they are now.
Dave 148 please I had a hard time to choose a room at the KP Hotel it seems they have so many different type of rooms some are refurbish long ago I heard that the South Tower view is better
some say rooms are more up to date in the main tower I saw a review today that KP.just
finished renewing some places.
We intend to leave after breakfast and return for a good night rest is there a certain room type you can recommend us ?
Thanks to.you all.

Keio Plaza has nearly 1,500 rooms. It's a huge hotel. They've been renovating the rooms over the last several years. They are finished with almost all of them. You need to contact the hotel and be sure to get a newly renovated room. Use this form:
