Hello!
It will be my first time travelling internationally (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). My flight would be from NAIA. Is it allowed to bring canned goods such as corned beef and processed food like ham and tocino?
You can bring processed food into the Philippines for personal consumption. You are not allowed to bring any unprocessed food, even for personal consumption.
That aside, quite why one would bother to do it is beyond me as canned goods, including corned beef and ham easily and cheaply available, pretty much everywhere to point of being omnipresent. Each to our own, I guess.
Edited: 1 year agoits not about what you can bring out of the philippines but what you can bring into malaysia. you should inquire at the malaysia forum or do an internet search on that.
This should be on Malaysia firum
Strictly speaking, meat, poultry, dairy products and eggs are "restricted items" but it is unlikely that canned goods will be confiscated, though the risk is on you.
Your pork products might not make it.

Not sure if you need to weigh down your luggage with stuff you can mainly get here. Including tocino:

It's a taste of home. Not all canned goods are available in Malaysia, although most of them are, and vice versa.
