Tianmen Cable Car in November?
Hey together,
does anybody know if the Cable Car to Tianmen Mountain is operating in November? I looked at tickets on trip com and they only sell until 31th october.
I heard that sometimes the cable car gets closed. Does anybody knows if it is closed in November or if maybe tickets are not able to buy right now?

It said the cable car will be carried maintenance every November, it takes 15-30 days for maintenance.

Unfortunatly there are no dates in November available.
Does anybody know, if I would still can visit without the Cable car? I only have a half day from approximatly 3 pm

Why can't you just buy the ticket at the counter the day you go up?
I am certainly you can buy ticket onsite. But his problem is not just a ticket.
He needs to know the time required or timing arrangements.
If there is a local guide he can ask info, it will be better.
Taking a car up or down certainly takes more time than cable car.
And I see that the OP writes " can start my day around 2pm or 3pm only".
That's not enough time for Tianmen mountain, because a visit takes around 6 hours, and the sun in November sets early.
Hello, my plan was only go see the Stairways and go down again - especially if there is no cable car running in November, I think that can be doable in 3-4 hours, don't you think?
