Local Sim Card in Candolim
Coming back to Candolim in January after a 12 year break. Can anyone recommend the best place that will install a local Sim into my iPhone? Is 5G available in Candolim? I believe I will need a copy of my passport and photo ID?
Lebara do free roaming in India. Just order a sim and register it before leaving UK. Worked perfectly for us in February , used in Goa and Kerala. When you get home just cancel. My current deal with them is 15Gb and unlimited minutes for £1.65 a month ( first 6 months). Look for deals on Money Saving Expert.
On the advice of others on the forum, just used a Lebara SIM. Activated in UK, used in Calangute for two weeks and no problems with calls, texts or data. £1.35/month.

While roaming you are allowed up to 30Gb of Data.

Is the Lebara sim a physical card or an E- Sim?
At the moment Lebara UK only do physical sims.

Can anyone recommend a SIM card for people not living in the UK pls?
Pers7 , any local phone shop and some corner shops will sort you out with a sim card. It's like in most countries, the Sim you need is dependant on the signal where you are staying. Sim cards are not too expensive.
