Day in singapore 1day tourist pass
Hi,family of 5(all adults ) with a day in singapore.
Wondering if best if we all buy the
Singapore 1 day travel pass?
Is this a good/cost efficient way to get into town and then around during the day and back to the airport?
Can it even be used from the airport?

It is not cost effective. You pay the extra money for convenience. Yes it can be used to and from the airport.
Using your existing contactless card, wallets etc would the be the cost effective solution.
Generally I'd recommend a taxi or Grab/Gojek to and from the airport - it's 25 minutes by car compared with 50 minutes+ by MRT. But as Mankster notes, you can use your contactless card for the MRT.

Also what would be grab cost from airport vs public transportation?
Each person needs his own contactless card/mobile device.
Grab fares are dynamic based on demand (passengers) and supply (drivers) and it also depends on the vehicle type and where you want to go. With 5 adults, you would have to opt for larger vehicles which are more expensive.
