Bus Hua Hin to Prachuap

Has anyone caught the bus from Hua Hin to Prachuap? I believe it used to be possible to pick it up from the Clocktower, and I would of course be interested in a rough idea of the time to catch it? Thanks in advance

While I normally catch them in the other direction (PKK to Hua Hin) they are very frequent, almost hourly. They are minivans, not large buses in case you weren't aware. The bus depot at PKK is on the highway next to the Makro. Always plenty of motorcycle taxis around but not so many regular taxis, but if you need one I'm sure someone there could call one for you.

Hi,

Minivans also depart from opposite the Village Market, Hua Hin for PKK.

I second the suggestion to catch the minivan at the bus stop opposite Market Village. There is usually a lady sitting at a table there who may be able to provide additional details. For what it is worth, I usually take the train when I am heading to Prachuab Town because it is a relatively quick ride and drops me in the center of town near the places I want to go. Have a safe trip. Cheers.

Agree the train would be quite a bit safer than the minivans and more convenient. And keep in mind you may have to purchase 2 seats in the van if you are travelling with a large bag.

But not many trains.

Minivans go regularly on that route, takes about 80 minutes. Minivans go may go to highway bus station at Prachuap or sometimes into town, ask when you arrive.

Not much transport into town only motorbike taxis, usually. It is about 3kms.

Many thanks folks for your answers. They are very much appreciated.
