Best area to stay for an early flight out of bali
Hi Al,
I’m likely to have a 10am flight to Singapore. I’ve stayed previously in sanur as it’s not far from the airport but I lm not a fan of the area. Wondering if anyone can recommend an area winth easy commuting distance to the airport please? Not sure where I will be staying in Bali yet for the rest of the trip but likely Ubud and one other place

Closest to airport is Tuban (South Kuta)
Very popular area for travelers wanting to spend last day and or night in Bali.
Many hotels and resorts that cater for all budgets.
Personally, as mentioned above, we always stay in Tuban/Kuta on our last night/s before flying.
Whether back to Munich or our last 2 Bali trips of flying to Australia (Perth/Brisbane) for a side trip. Our Perth flight was very early at 7am but Brisbane was in the afternoon.
We don’t spend much time “down south” anyway so our only time “down south” tends to be only 1 or 2 nights before a flight.

The cheapest flight into Bali arrives at 6pm on a Saturday. Ideally I’d like to head up to ubud on arrival but would it be too late to travel up there?
post 3, we always travel to Ubud after a late flight. Our flights get in (depending on airline) between 8.40pm and 10pm. There's a lot less traffic so generally a quicker trip at night.
