Hiroshima to Miyajima Options
I'll be staying for two nights in Hiroshima in March with my wife. Neither of us will have a JR pass. We will be staying at the Hilton Hiroshima and we want to visit Miyajima on our full day in Hiroshima.
I know one option is to take the train to Miyajimaguchi Station (roughly 1 hour from our hotel via two trains) and then the 10 minute ferry to the island, but this doesn't seem overly handy.
It appears a better option would be to go to the Peace Memorial Park and take the ferry from there, which I understand runs every 30 minutes and takes around 30 minutes.
Google Maps seems to suggest there is potentially another option from Hiroshima Minato Park, although I can't find out much about this online.
Am I right in thinking we should just go for the Peace Memorial Park ferry? Despite it being slightly more expensive.

There is another high sleet boat between Hiroshima Port and Miyajima, but that's not the right one to take when you're staying in Hilton. Take the one from the Peace Memorial Park:

If I may add a question here: I see that the last boat leaves Hiroshima side at 16.25 . What about the ferry? Do they operate in the late afternoon and evening? In the direction of the island, I mean. From the mainland to Miyajima.

Hi, we are also looking to take High speed boat to Miyajima from our cruise ship on 25th April, 25.
Can you tell me how close it is to cruise terminal. Can you walk? How do I get tickets and do I need to pre book. How often does it go?
Celebrity Millennium will dock in Ujina Fifth Berth on April 25. The berth is about 500 m distance from the other domestic ferry terminal.

Ujina - Miyajima timetable is above. I imagine you have sufficient time between 9 AM and 6 PM with taxi ride to and from JR Hiroshima station. JR Sanyo Line train runs frequently toward Miyajimaguchi and the ferry there, too.
The train from Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi takes less than 30 minutes. The tram takes an hour.
