Early Sunday - Tokyo Station to Narita
We have a 9:30 am international departure from Narita on Sunday. The earliest Narita Express arrives too late. What’s the least expensive alternative early Sunday from Tokyo Station? Thanks.
The first NEX train arrive NRT airport before 7:20am. That gives you enough time to depart.
There is a budget bus that leaves earlier from Tokyo station at 5:13 and 5:43am. The 5:43 bus should get to NRT just after 7am. That bus allows only one large piece of luggage per passenger. It costs 1,500 Yen so about half the price of NEX.

Thanks, SammyFD. I assumed we needed to be at NRT three hours early, but see that the first NEX train will work.
If you're worried about being late, you could make the trip to the airport the night before and stay overnight at an airport hotel. That's probably not necessary, but you might sleep better.
Thanks for the suggestion, but we want to enjoy our final night in Tokyo and are comfortable with the NEX timing.
