I thought it might be worth having a sunshine post. Lots of people are worrying about their upcoming Maldives holidays and there are multiple ongoing threads about the recent poor weather. This presumably increases anxiety at the same time as providing a useful platform for discussion.

not gonna lie , im going to Villa Park Resort next week and all the reports from sites i find online are saying rain , im worried as hell
pedro - every day since i started going 15 years ago, online sites say it is raining in the maldives . Don’t believe a word they say. It’s all computer modelling . Far better to get one of there radar apps which show the rain , sometimes down to individual islands . i would often be on my lounger with clear blue skies and glance at my weather and radar app and spot a shower sneaking up on me from behind. would be the first person in the bar knowing a deluge was 10 mins away , lasting for 20 mins. Other guests thought i was a telepathic soothsayer.

The live webcam at JAM showing cloud and sun at the mo - hoping it stays that way for our arrival on Sunday … my OH says I persuaded him to this holiday to get him away from horrid weather in the uk and he wants his money back if I don’t deliver the sunshine 🤣… no pressure !
