First time coming to Thailand.
Do the hotel provide pool/beach towels to use.
Depends where you stay, nothing universal. Many hotels have 2 colours of towels in the room; white for bathroom, dark (usually blue) to take to the pool/beach. Some hotels have only white for the room, then you have to sign out towels in the pool area for pool/beach.
Don't get me started on the increasingly common practice of reserving sunbeds with towels for all day use, even though the intention is to only use the sunbed late afternoon.
Thanks for your response
As above from @330driver. The hotel that we stayed at recently did exactly as above, but also made it very clear that it was breaking hotel rules to reserve sun beds with your towels.
