Hiring a 50cc moped in CM
Is it possible to hire a 50cc moped in CM ? Reason for asking is I only have a car licence in my home country but it also permits riding a 50cc moped. I’m thinking that this will avoid getting fined for unlicensed riding. Of course I have a IDP as well.

If you don't have motorcycle on your home country licence and IDP you're not licenced to ride ANY type of motorcycle in Thailand. Your travel insurance (if it even covers travel by motorcycle; many policies specifically exclude it) will also be invalid.
No mopeds in CM, except as museum pieces.
There is no small motorcycle class in Thailand at present - the idea of a 50cc not requiring a licence is a myth - but Thailand only recognises FULL m/C licences anyway.
It is very unlikely that you would find one g=for hire - they are pretty rare.
