Landing card for Sri Lanka
Our ETA's for entering Sri Lanka have been approved. We filled in the landing cards online & they said "You have successfully filled in your Arrival card. Welcome to Sri Lanka". We haven't received anything else & can't find where these can be printed. We travel this Thursday the 8th Feb. Help!
You are not required to print anything out and that email you received id quite adequate if needed.. Your good to go and see you soon here on The island..
I have had a similar outcome to the one you describe . The message flashed on the screen but I have received no email as suggested by #1. Did you receive an email acknowledgment ?
I received no email for landing card and went through with no issues last week. Very quick process.
Hi just to check how far in advance can you do the online arrival card was it 5 days ?

The portal allows you to enter a day in the next 7 days. So today I can use an entry date up to and including the 12th

I’ve travelled world wide and can honestly say Sri Lanka customs is quick, efficient and friendly. Certainly the best in Asia. The advice above is correct, you should breeze through
#8 and Customs and Immigration know every trick in the book that people entering the country try to get away with and never ever judge the book by the cover..:)
I breezed through in terms of actual visa paperwork. It was all on the system. I was sent for My yellow fever to be checked first as I had spent 2 days in Addis prior to flying . Only then to be informed UK passport did not need it checking despite being In Addis. I can also definitely vouch a book is not judged by its cover- my luggage was then taken apart by customs and searched down to the last stitch! They kept asking me for what they were supposed to be looking. I could not help with that as I had no idea. They then informed me it was probably because my luggage was in transit through Dubai and was not checked in again there! Sure I was not the only one in transit . Of course, nothing was found and we all laughed. A first for everything. Everyone was very courteous and efficient despite everything . And they packed it all back for me beautifully.
