Hi all thanks for the help.
New front runner is SS Olhuveli.
Reasoning:
OH wanted South - either S Ari or just below or S Male or just below as he hasn't dived there (or with S Ari not for a long time) Island looks good for some of the big stuff which he likes - although gets excited about tiny nudibranch's as well.
SSO only needs speed boat - no sea plane excess and I'll book the 10am flight home.
Because out of season good to have other things to do if rained or winded off the water for a day or two, looked at Cin Velifushi but think it may be bleak if bad weather.
I know it's big and I will need to walk to snorkelling but I walked the full length of Meedhupparu 3 times a day to snorkel off the jetty and in Marsa Alam I walk miles (I put on long sleaved rash vest and leggings)
Also looked at SS Vilu Reef but renovations may be pending - not taking a chance.
Spending a tiny bit more - as might as well before Racheal (UK Gov) takes it.
I would like to know any pro's and con's please.
Are there any problems, rude guests, hiden costs, uncomfy or not allocated sunbeds.
Thanks
Just spent 3 days on Olhuveli and it is quite wonderful.
Size - The property is really 3 linked modest sized islands and each island has all you need so you don't HAVE to walk far. But if there is something a bit further on another island, there is a regular buggy bus service that takes from island to island quickly and regularly.
Diving - Kandooma Channel. One of the best dive sites in the Maldives. 15 minutes from Olhuveli. On our second dive, we came upon a group of 27 eagle rays (OMG amazing). The day before, the group encountered a group of 17+ grey reef sharks.
I cannot think of any "problems" (rude guests, hiden costs, uncomfy or not allocated sunbeds).

I also don't remember any significant issues, besides that the snorkeling was barely OK in the morning and not OK at all in the afternoon - murky water and low visibility. Sea life is also not abundant.
But the big villas are nice, the food is nice, and the opportunity to stare at the mantas right in your feet is great.
