Shompoo Cruises?

We're looking at doing the 2 day cruise from Houay Hay to Luang Prabang in December after the Gibbon Experience. Because of the way the dates fall, we need to get a cruise on a Thursday. All the boat companies seem to do tours that start Mon/Weds/Friday but Shompoo does them every day. Great for our timings but it does make me wonder how they can do daily departures and why others don't.
Does anyone have any info on this and the company generally? Their reviews are great and although they're a bit more expensive than the others [and the hotel isn't included], they seem to be our only option right now.

This is very old news and hopefully someone will have more up to date information but for what it’s worth, we did a Shompoo cruise from Houay Xay to Luang Prabang in January 2020 and loved it. We are planning to do the Gibbon Experience next year and will probably book with Shompoo again to travel up from Luang Prabang.
Oops tried to edit but wasn’t fast enough. The cruise when we did it was run by a family and I think when I was researching recently I saw that the younger generation had taken over, a daughter maybe? I don’t have any real information other than that.
We stayed at the Sanctuary Pakbeng Lodge, which I booked separately. I can’t remember why but assume it was cheaper than through Shompoo. We really liked the hotel too.
