Christmas in Singapore - Where to go
Will be in Singapore 12/23-12/26/25. Anything special happening? Any suggestions for our stay? Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental or ? Many thanks for your suggestions.
Christmas is not really a big thing in Singapore - Chinese NY is more significant for most people. But there are a few things on - the light up on Orchard Road, there's usually an ice-skating rink at Marina Bay, and most hotels will do big (and expensive) buffet Christmas lunches. And of course church as well - St Andrews Cathedral (the Anglican cathedral) has a Christmas Eve service and services on Christmas Day for example.

As said before it is expensive but very nice!
All hotels will have an offering for Christmas and details will be on their Website. You can check out the offering at your hotel once you have decided where to stay.
Christmas isnt as big a thing in Singapore as it is in US./UK/Aus/Europe but its still a fairly noticeable affair.
So attractions etc run things and its busier on/around the public holiday on the days you are visiting. Expect crowds at major places to a higher level than normal. I wouldnt go to USS then for example.
Expect to have to make reservations for food well in advance if you want anything 'traditional western' for Christmas dinner - and even for some nontraditional options in popular places and also any hotel may well be slammed.
The are all the lights on Orchard as the main sign Christmas is about - Gardens by the Bay has its Wonderland as well.
Attractions will do Christmas themed things - the same as they do themed things or other holidays so its worth looking at where you might visit to see what is on.
