Himachal

We are planning a 7–8 nights Himachal trip in the first week of February.

We are 2 adults and 1 child (5 years old).

We will start from Delhi or Chandigarh airport

We are interested in visiting the following places:

Manali, Tirthan Valley,Sethan,Dalhousie, dharmasala, Khajjiar

Kindly share:A suggested itinerary plan (7–8 nights) covering these destinations.Whether the roads between these places are expected to remain open in early February, considering possible snow conditions.

CHD/DEL-Dalhousi(3N)--McLeodganj(2N)-Manali(3N)-CHD/DEL

//February, considering possible snow conditions.//

Depends upon realtime weather and snow condition, main concern is area at/around Manali and little bit at/near Dalhousie/Khjjar.

Chandigarh > Tirthan 1N > Manali 3N > Dharamsala 2N > Dalhousie (Khajjiar) 2N. Might get snow in Solang Valley, Sissu (from Manali). Although it depends on the weather on that day.

Best is to plan your arrival and departure from Chandigarh Airport/railway station for your upcoming travel to Himachal Pradesh.

Kindly check a suggested itinerary for 08 nights as below -

Day 01 - Manali Arrival

Day 02 - Manali - Day excursion to Sethan village (4*4 vehicle required in Feb month)

Day 03 - Manali - Day Excursion to Solang Valley and Atal tunnel (depends upon road conditions)

Day 04 - Manali - Tirthan Valley - May visit Jibhi, Shojha and Jalori pass (Depends upon Road condition)

Day 05 - Tirthan valley - Dharamsala

Day 06 - Dharamsala Sightseeing - Dalhousie

Day 07 - Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie

Day 08 - Dalhousie Chandigarh departure

The roads between Manali Tirthan Valley Dharamshala and Dalhousie remais operational in the month of February and there will be very less chances of blockage due to snow.

Yet the road to Atal tunnel, Sethan village, Jalori pass and khajjiar may affect due to snow.
