Yogyakarta itinerary
Hello Everyone,
I will be in Yogyakarta for 3 full days and will stay near the Borobudur Temple. No decision has yet been made between the Manohara hotel and the Saravasti hotel. Any suggestions. I understand that the Manohara hotel is the closest hotel to the Borobudur Temple. I want to do the Sunrise Borobudur tour. The Manohara hotel provides the tickets for this tour.
Please see below my itinerary. Any suggestions?
September 13th.
9:00 Prambanan Temple 2-3 hours
Visit small temples near Prambanan:
Lumbung Temple
Bubrah Temple,
Sewu Temple
Plaosan Temple
Barong Temple
Banyunibo Temple n.
Sambisari Temple
I may not be able to see all of these temples. Any suggestions as to which are the most important to see?
September 14th
Borobudur temple
9:00 Temple structure tickets and ground 2-3 hours
Pawon Temple,
Mendut Temple
September 15th
Sunrise tour to Borobudur
12:00 Visit the Kraton (Sultan's Palace)
Taman Sari (Water Castle)
September 15th. Fly to Bali
Are you not going to look at Mount Merapi?

- Prambanan Temple
- Lumbung Temple
- Bubrah Temple,
- Sewu Temple
- Borobudur (take your time hee)
- Mendut
- Pawon (single stupa structure), optional if you have the time
These temples are similar in terms of architecture, the relief makes the difference. It would be good if you have a guide who is knowledgeable of Indonesia's Hindu-culture
I would actually do Plaosan and Sewu close to each other, then Ratu Boko which is ruins on the hilltop so it's quite atmospheric.
