First Timer - Train station to Old City options
We'll be taking the overnight train from Bangkok to CM. Once we get off the train, what's the best way to get to our lodging in the Old City?

In fact there ARE still tuktuks and songthaews meeting arriving trains, but Grab works really well in Chiang Mai, better than in Bangkok where cars are often held up in traffic congestion.
Just find your hotel in the Grab database, select the kind of ride you want, and a car will pick you up within minutes. Prices are reasonable.
You need a smartphone and a local data plan though.
