Bars for fun Halloween night

Hi,

We’ll be back once again for the IceMan bike race in a few weeks, and decided to come in on Thursday to spend Halloween in town. What bars are likely to have something happening on Halloween evening? Thanks for any suggestions.

Dave

Halloween in Traverse City is always a fun time, and with the IceMan bike race happening around the same time, there will likely be a lot of action in the bars. Here are a few places where you're likely to find something happening on Halloween night:

  • The Filling Station Microbrewery – Known for its craft beers and lively atmosphere, The Filling Station often hosts events and parties. It's a great place to enjoy a drink, and Halloween is no exception. Keep an eye out for themed drink specials or costume contests.
  • North Peak Brewing Company – Another popular spot for beer lovers in Traverse City. They often have seasonal events, and Halloween might feature a costume contest or a themed night. It's a fun place to meet up with friends and enjoy some craft brews.
  • Olive's Restaurant & Bar – Olive's is known for its great food and drinks, but they often put on events, especially on holidays like Halloween. The atmosphere is perfect for a festive evening, so check their schedule for any special Halloween events.
  • The M-22 Bar – Located a little outside of downtown, but well worth the visit if you're looking for a casual vibe with a fun crowd. Halloween is always a busy night, and the M-22 bar will likely have some kind of costume event or drink special.
  • Union Street Station – This bar is a local favorite and usually has some sort of celebration or themed event for Halloween. With its large space and festive vibe, it's a great place to party the night away.
  • HopCat Traverse City – Known for its great selection of beers and fun atmosphere, HopCat often throws events, and Halloween is a great opportunity to catch a themed event here. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

If you're looking for something specific, consider checking out local event listings or social media pages for these venues as the date gets closer, as some places may announce special promotions or parties closer to the event. Also, don’t forget to check out any local costume contests or themed drink specials that might be offered by bars around the area. It's always a blast to see the creative costumes around town!

Hope you have a great Halloween in Traverse City and enjoy the IceMan race!
