Front of the Rose Bowl stadium

Is the front of the rose bowl open where they have the iconic logo? I'm interested in taking a photo of that logo and I'm hoping the front is open during this off season

The front of the Rose Bowl stadium, including the iconic Rose Bowl logo area, is generally accessible to the public, even during the off-season. This area is outside the stadium itself and is not gated in the same way as event areas, so you can usually walk up to take photos without needing tickets.

Tips for visiting:

  • Arrive during daylight hours to ensure the best lighting for photos of the logo and stadium exterior.
  • Parking is available on site or nearby, but it can be limited, so plan to arrive early, even in the off-season.
  • Check for any scheduled events or maintenance, as some areas may be temporarily closed for work on the grounds.
  • The front area is accessible for walking, but for wheelchair or limited mobility access, the main walkways are paved and easy to navigate.

If you want additional perspectives, the surrounding grassy areas and streets near the stadium also offer good photo opportunities without entering the stadium itself. Guided tours, if available, provide access to more iconic spots inside but are optional if your main goal is the logo photo outside.
