Any interesting lunch places in San Bernardino?

Heading over this weekend for some minor league baseball. The sausage place would work for me, but not for her. Any salad places or poke or seafood places to recommend? Either in town or nearby?

Thanks!

San Bernardino has a mix of casual and slightly more upscale spots for lunch, and while it’s not known as a culinary hotspot, you can find some good options for salads, poke, and seafood near the downtown area or along major streets. Here are some suggestions:

Salad and Healthy Options:

  • Green Rabbit Cafe: Known for fresh salads, grain bowls, and sandwiches. Great for a lighter lunch before or after a baseball game.
  • Freshii (near the Inland Center area): Offers customizable salads, bowls, and wraps with a wide selection of vegetables and proteins.
  • California Fish Grill: While primarily a seafood spot, they also have a good selection of grilled fish salads and healthy sides.

Poke and Seafood Options:

  • Poke Bar (San Bernardino location): Fresh poke bowls with a variety of fish, toppings, and sauces, ideal for a quick and satisfying lunch.
  • Bayside Fish Grill: Offers classic fish tacos, shrimp dishes, and seafood salads. Casual, friendly atmosphere.
  • Rubio’s Coastal Grill: A chain but known for fish tacos, grilled fish plates, and customizable salads with seafood options.

Other Considerations:

  • Many of these places are within a 5–10 minute drive of the stadium, so you can easily combine lunch with your baseball plans.
  • If your companion prefers vegetarian or lighter fare, most of the poke spots and salad cafes allow customization with fresh ingredients.
  • Check hours, as some smaller local spots may close by mid-afternoon on weekends.

With these options, both of you can find something enjoyable: hearty sausage for one, fresh salads or poke for the other, all without straying too far from your baseball outing.
