Sirata

Has anyone just visited I was told major renovation is done, all rooms etc and some is ongoing but doesn't affect stay ? Can anyone verify??

The Sirata Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach has indeed undergone major renovations in recent years, and many of the rooms and amenities have been updated. From what I’ve gathered, most of the renovations have been completed, with significant improvements to guest rooms, pools, and dining areas. However, like with many ongoing renovation projects, there may still be some finishing touches being made in certain areas, though the hotel has worked to ensure that these updates don’t disrupt guest stays.

Based on recent guest reviews, most visitors have reported that while there may be some minor ongoing work, it doesn’t significantly impact the overall experience. Common feedback includes that the pool areas and beach access are still fully functional, and that the resort’s location and service remain top-notch.

Here’s a quick summary of what you can expect:

  • Rooms: Most rooms have been renovated and are modern, clean, and comfortable, with updated furnishings and amenities.
  • Pool and Beach Areas: The pools are reported to be in great condition, and the resort's prime beach location is still a major draw. Some reports suggest there might be occasional minor work near the pool area, but it typically doesn’t affect the enjoyment of the space.
  • Restaurants and Bars: The resort has also revamped its dining options, with new restaurants and bars, though some have mentioned limited hours for certain venues during the renovation phase.
  • Noise and Disruptions: Any ongoing construction is reportedly minor and not very intrusive. Most renovations are being carried out away from the main guest areas, so guests can still enjoy their time without much disruption.

In conclusion, if you’re planning to stay at the Sirata, you should have a pleasant experience, as the renovations have improved many of the facilities. While a few finishing touches may still be happening, they should not greatly affect your stay. If you have concerns, it might be worth calling ahead to confirm if any specific areas or times might see more intense work, especially if you’re looking for a completely disruption-free visit.

Enjoy your stay at St. Pete Beach!
