There are two ways to get to Nanji Island:
Aojiang Wharf (near Pingyang Wanda) - Nanji Island
Ruian Port Passenger Terminal (Feiyundu Bus Station) - Nanji Island

How to get to Aojiang Wharf?
Pingyang Railway Station: About 7 kilometers from Aojiang Port Passenger Terminal, about 20 minutes by taxi
Aojiang Passenger Transport Center: about 1 km from Aojiang Port Passenger Transport Station

*Aojiang and Nanji Island both belong to Pingyang. There are many boat trips from Aojiang Pier, and there are two types of boats: speedboats and luxury express buses. It is recommended to depart from Aojiang Pier.
Ruian Port Passenger Terminal
Taking Hangzhou as an example, first get off at Ruian High-speed Railway Station (high-speed rail takes two and a half hours/147 yuan, and bullet train takes three and a half hours/159 yuan). Follow the crowd out of the station, turn right, walk in the direction of the bus/taxi (there is a landmark), and then exit at Exit 3.
Queue up at the taxi area on the right and use the meter to get on.
Time: About 20 minutes
Price: no more than 30 yuan;
Take bus 102 from the bus area on the left and get off at Feiyundu Station
Ticket price: 2 yuan (can be paid via Alipay or WeChat)
Time taken: about 25 minutes
Frequency: Every 22 minutes
When you arrive at the waiting hall, the ticket office is on the left side of the waiting hall, with windows 1, 2, and 3 in total.
Nanji Island ferry ticket + Nanji Island ticket + island bus ticket are sold as one ticket. The ferry ticket and the ticket are sold together, and the bus ticket can be purchased at your option.
Ticket Collection Instructions:
1. Guests who booked online do not need to collect tickets and can directly pass through the gate with their ID card. If you need to collect your ticket, please go to the terminal's self-service ticket machine in advance according to the text message instructions and present your ID card, QR code, order number and password to collect your ticket, or go to the information counter to collect your ticket.
2. Children's tickets must be collected by adults.
Tips:
1. The boat may depart early or late, so it is recommended that you board the boat an hour in advance.
2. There is a small shop in the waiting hall. The prices are a little higher than outside, but that’s normal. You can buy things here if you need them before boarding the ship.
🚌Transportation on the island
speedboat
The speedboat seats about 100 and the journey takes about an hour and a half. After entering the sea half an hour after boarding, the boat begins to rock and roll for an hour, so it is recommended to prepare seasickness medicine/patches. Speedboats are available from both Ruian Port and Aojiang Port.
Deluxe Express
The Deluxe Express has over 300 seats, divided into three cabins: lower, middle, and upper. The journey takes about two hours. Because it's a large ship, the turbulence is much less severe than on a speedboat, making it a preferred option for those who suffer from seasickness.
Island bus
This is the most important transportation on the island. You will stop when you wave. You need to swipe your paper ticket or ID card every time you get on the bus, so be sure to bring one of your ticket and ID card, otherwise you will have to walk.
1. New Wharf → Headquarters → Beach (there is no shuttle bus from Sanjiaoliao Village to Big Beach Bathing Beach if you live near Big Beach) → Sanpanwei Scenic Area
2. This ticket can only be used 6 times within three days from the date of arrival. If the time or number of times exceeds this limit, a separate ticket must be purchased.
3. There are no shuttle buses to other fishing villages or Aokou on Nanji Island, and tourists cannot take them with this ticket.
4. Business hours: 04:00 AM - 18:30 PM. Nighttime overtime: 18:30 PM - 22:00 PM (Sanpanwei tour hours: 04:00 AM - 09:00 AM. The last return bus is at 12:00 PM)
5. For guests staying in Sanpanwei Houlong Village, the shuttle bus to the beach departs at 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM, and the return trips are at 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM.

Island taxis
Taxis are quite expensive on the island, costing around 100 for 5 or 6 kilometers. Taxis are available for places not accessible by public transportation. However, if you are not in a hurry, walking is the best way to explore the island, as the scenery is amazing and the breeze is very pleasant.
🍤Eat on the island
convenience store
The convenience store is on the way from Zhongwei Villa to Dashaao, very close to Zhongwei Villa (just down the next slope). The store is very small and you can even miss it if you are not careful, but it has a wide range of items, from basic snacks to daily necessities to beach supplies.
Seafood stall
The place with the most food stalls on the island is Dashaao! The whole street is filled with food stalls. Across from it is the bathing beach and the terminus of the island bus. The cost of eating at the food stalls is not high, about 85 yuan per person.
No matter which one you go to, the taste is OK. The seafood ingredients such as Nanji yellow croaker and fried sand clams are very fresh. Many people will recommend Aunt Huang's Fishing Restaurant, you can go and try it.
Sanpanwei shop street
You can buy breakfast here when watching the sunrise in the morning. It is mainly souvenirs, but I personally don’t recommend buying them. Hats are also useless at the top of the mountain, and there is a 90% chance that they will be blown away by strong winds.
In addition, many hotels also provide catering services. For example, you can order dishes and noodles at the Blue Acacia Hotel, but the minimum consumption is 80 yuan.

No need to travel to TĂĽrkiye or Greece; exotic experiences are just a boat ticket away. While a bit pricey, it's well worth it. With a 270-degree ocean view, you'll be greeted by the sea and stars.
It utilizes the original air-raid shelter space and transforms it into a Santorini-style retreat. Each of the 23 exquisitely designed rooms offers a 180-degree view of the sea.

Azure Acacia Resort Hotel (Balcony Sea View Room)
Standing on the highest point of the island, facing Dashao, adjacent to Taiwan Acacia Garden and Meiling Palace, facing the sea, and within walking distance to the beach, it is a high-end resort hotel newly opened in Nanji Island in 2018.
*When taking the bus around the island, you need to tell the driver to go to the Blue Acacia main building to check in. After checking in, you can check in at the corresponding hotel. (Includes the Glass Tent, Captain Stone House, and Lieutenant Villa)
Blue Acacia--Colonel Stone House
It is a certain distance from the main station and takes 10-15 minutes to walk (the time is for reference only).
Glass Tent
It is very close to the Blue Acacia, just on the edge, and can be reached in 2 minutes on foot. The environment is great, suitable for families and couples.
Each room is a separate building, each with its own corridor and balcony. The roof is shaped like a white sail, and all the walls are replaced by large floor-to-ceiling glass. The entire room is full of design, with a simple Zen and exotic style.
Lieutenant Inn
It looks like a row of small houses from the outside, but it's nice once you get inside. Everything is new and it's economical, suitable for those on a low budget.
It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the main station (time is for reference only)
🌄Sunrise at sea
How can you miss the sunrise when you come to the island? After all, the sunrise on Nanji Island is also very famous!
Sunrise location: Sanpanwei
Sunrise time: around 5:00 (depending on the forecast)
The Lieutenant Inn is about a 10-minute drive from the Sanpanwei parking lot. If you are staying in a garden cabin, you can reach the location on foot.
Tips:
1. Call the driver one day in advance to make an appointment for the sunrise tomorrow and let him know your hotel name. If you forget, it's okay. Wait on the street next to the hotel around 4:00 PM and wave down a car if one comes by (tickets will definitely be checked here, so remember to bring your island tour ticket).
2. Get off the bus and walk towards the pavilion. Pass a row of shops (you can buy breakfast, water, and souvenirs) and keep going straight.
3. It is still very dark after 4 o'clock, so remember to bring a coat and mosquito repellent. There is a strong wind on the top of the mountain and there are many mosquitoes.
4. There are many viewing platforms on the top of the mountain, which are all good places to watch the sunrise, so there is no need to crowd together.
🤳3 must-see places on the island
The distances between scenic spots on Nanji Island are relatively far, so it is recommended to arrange a trip on the island for more than two days, which will give you more time.
There are many things to do in Nanji Island. Here I would like to share with you some of the main must-see attractions: Dasha'ao/Sanpanwei/Matsu'ao (attractions related to the headquarters can be visited along the way).
Three-game tail-playing from dusk to dawn
The three-day meal must be arranged in the morning for four reasons:
1. The tour time from Jingjiao to Sanpanwei is from 4:00 to 9:30, and the last bus back is at 12:00 (if you come in the afternoon, the taxi fare starts at 100 yuan, which is not cost-effective)

3. After watching the sunrise, walk around the mountain. The weather is also very cool.
4. The light is good in the morning, the sea is very blue, and it is very nice to take pictures. It is very playable.
There are many scenic spots on the mountain, with rugged rocks of various shapes, natural lawns, natural murals and seaside promenades.
On the way there, you can visit scenic spots such as Monkeys Worshipping Guanyin, Natural Lawn, Chaoyin Cave, Flying Stone, and Wind-Moving Rock along the ridge. On the way back, you can take the coastal path to get a close look at the blue sea, huge rocks, bunkers, and fishing villages.
To the right of the pavilion you see in the picture above, there is a large rock, which is an ideal place to frame people and the sea.
Dashaao--The beach is a paradise
Dasha'ao Beach boasts a rare shell-lined beach, with soft, clean sand that feels very comfortable to walk on. There are male and female restrooms at Dasha'ao Beach, where you can change clothes, but there's no hot water for showering after swimming, so it's recommended to return to your accommodation to shower.
There are many entertainment activities at the beach, including swimming, beach volleyball, and motorboat trips.
There is a small reed marsh next to the stairs coming down from Dashaao Beach, which is a very artistic photo spot.
Matsuao - The shock of sea ranch
After enjoying the beach at Dasha'ao, you can go to Matsu'ao to watch the sunset. From Dasha'ao, walk straight towards Matsu'ao to reach the passenger transport center pier. The island bus takes about 5 minutes by car and about 15 minutes on foot.
There are many places to visit on the island, such as Meilingju, Guoxing Temple, Headquarters, etc.
