Songcheng Longquan Mountain Tourist Area is located in Lishui, Zhejiang Province. It has many natural wonders unique to the plateau, such as plateau lakes, alpine meadows, sea of clouds and rime.
With an average summer temperature of 20°C, it is one of the Yangtze River Delta's most scenic tourist resorts boasting a plateau climate. The resort boasts 200,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of primeval forest and 60,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of lakes. Its main peak, Huangmaojian, stands at 1,929 meters, making it the highest peak in the Yangtze River Delta.
The ticket price is 100 yuan, the cable car price (round trip) is 220 yuan, the scenic bus price is 100 yuan, and the scenic area ticket + cable car + scenic bus combined ticket is 320 yuan.
Currently open scenic spots include Huangmaojian, Juebi Qisong, Oujiangyuan, and the Grand Canyon. The recommended visit duration is three days and two nights or two days and one night.
The high-speed rail arrives at Lishui Station. Opposite the high-speed rail station is the bus station, where you can take a bus to Longquan County.
Take a bus or drive from Longquan County to the scenic area cable car station. The bus ticket price is 10 yuan, and there are two buses every day at 8:30 and 16:30.
Longquan Mountain Cableway
The cableway is 1,929 meters long with a vertical drop of 800 meters. The single-line circular box cableway has introduced advanced Austrian technology and equipment and can carry up to 12,000 tourists per day.
Taking the cable car can shorten the 1.5-hour winding mountain road journey to 7 minutes, and you can experience an unprecedented visual experience of floating in a fairyland and traveling through the clouds.
Longquan Mountain is warm in winter and cool in summer, and has mild weather all year round. When you drive to the foot of the mountain, you can feel the coolness of the natural forest.
There are many homestays and villas on the mountain. I recommend you to go to the Orion Villa, which is located in the core area of the scenic area. The scenic shuttle bus station is downstairs.
The resort is a three-star resort hotel designed in a Nordic log style. Its log-framed townhouses are adorned with elk antlers and ivory. Surrounded by 200,000 acres of pristine forest, the view from your room feels like stepping into a hunter's cabin in a fairytale.

Huangmaojian is about 2 kilometers away from Orion Villa, about 3 kilometers away from Longquan Grand Canyon, and about 4 kilometers away from the source of Oujiang River. The scenery here is beautiful, and the sunrise on the top of the mountain is particularly stunning.

The entrance to Orion Villa is the bus stop for the scenic area. If you want to watch the sunrise, remember to make an appointment with the hotel one day in advance.
Because the temperature difference between day and night is large on the mountain, remember to wear a thick coat (if you forget to bring a coat, the hotel also provides jacket rental) and bring a flashlight.
The mountain road is actually not difficult to walk on, but since there is no natural light when climbing early in the morning, you still need to pay attention to safety.
The normal climbing time for Huangmaojian is 40-50 minutes if you walk fast, and 70 minutes if you walk slowly.
When waiting for the sunrise at the top of the mountain, don't stand in the wind. The wind at the top of the mountain is quite cold. Keep warm and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The source of the Oujiang River has alpine meadows, dense forests, Xiaotianchi and other scenery, and you can see the source of the Oujiang River.
The Grand Canyon is adjacent to the source of the Oujiang River and can be reached by scenic bus. Once there, you can explore the canyon area and waterfalls of Longquan Mountain via suspension bridges and walking trails.
