Sanqing Mountain, also known as Shaohua Mountain and Ya Mountain, is located at the junction of Yushan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, China and Dexing City. It is named because the three peaks of Yujing, Yuxu and Yuhua are like the three Taoist gods Yuqing, Shangqing and Taiqing sitting on the top of the mountain. Sanqing Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain, a World Natural Heritage Site, a World Geopark, a National Natural Heritage Site, and a National Geopark.

The first occurred 1.4 billion years ago, and the sea submerged it for 400 million years, depositing thousands of meters thick marine clastic rocks mixed with submarine volcanic eruptions. At the end of the Sinian Period, the second sea flooding came and submerged it for 160 million years. After the orogeny at the end of the Ordovician Period, Sanqing Mountain was completely separated from the seawater environment and no longer accepted sedimentation.

Although the third sea flooding occurred 440 million years ago, the seawater only reached the southeastern edge of Sanqing Mountain. After another 200 million years, Sanqing Mountain ended its marine history and entered a new stage of inland development. After that, it underwent a long and continuous plate movement and mountain building movement, which created the unique granite landscape and unique ecosystem today.

The granite peak forest micro-geomorphology of Sanqingshan Mountain mainly includes nine types: peaks, peak walls, peak clusters, stone forests, peak pillars, stone cones, rock walls, canyons, and shaped stone landscapes. After setting up camp and taking a brief rest, you can freely visit the Sanqing Palace Scenic Area, Sunshine Coast Scenic Area, and Nanqing Garden Scenic Area, and then go to the West Coast to wait for the sunset.

Sanqing Palace Camping Site has complete camping facilities, including washing, toilets, and water sources. Tourists who do not have tents can also rent tents and other camping equipment. The rent is 120 yuan per set on weekdays and 150 yuan per set on holidays, which is very convenient.
Recommended tour routes: Sanqing Palace Scenic Area - Sunshine Coast Scenic Area - Nanqing Garden Scenic Area - West Coast Scenic Area. The mountain plank road offers beautiful scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. You can leave your belongings at the Sanqing Palace management office and then return to the Sanqing Palace Square to camp after completing the entire journey with light luggage.

We packed up our bags early in the morning and headed to the Sunshine Coast, taking the mountain road in the middle to the main peak of Sanqing Mountain - Yujing Peak (1819.6 meters) to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds (depending on the weather conditions).

After sunrise, we will enter the Nanqing Garden Scenic Area to witness the giant python emerging from the mountain, penguins offering peaches, and foxes gnawing on chickens. We will then return to Sanqing Palace at 12 noon and descend to the foot of Sanqing Mountain after lunch.

We arrived at the foot of the mountain around 15:00 and drove for 1.5 hours to Shangrao High-speed Railway Station to disband.
1. Choose outdoor clothing according to the season.
2. Hiking shoes, sports shoes, and travel shoes are allowed. Leather shoes and sandals are not allowed.
3. Trekking poles are optional. The overall trail is easy to walk on, but the first section is quite steep. It is recommended to bring them to save energy.
4. Water and food. If it is autumn or winter, it is recommended to bring a thermos and drink hot water.
5. Camping equipment can be rented or brought by yourself, including tents, sleeping bags, mats, etc.
