Day 1 Shanghai → Pujiang → Xianhua Mountain → Pujiang
All day
At 7:00 AM, everyone gathered at the designated location to sign in and departed promptly at 7:30 AM. The onboard staff introduced everyone, and the journey was filled with laughter and conversation.
Around 11:30 AM, we arrived in Pujiang County and proceeded to our hotel for room assignment and lunch.
After lunch, at 1:30 PM, we boarded the bus and continued along the winding mountain road to Xianhua Mountain in Pujiang. We disembarked and formed a team to ascend the dirt road. We reached the desolate old village in the back of the mountain, now largely deserted. We continued along the dirt road, reaching the ridgeline about an hour later.
Xianhua Mountain boasts not only unique peaks but also unique rock formations. The rocks are both stunning and vibrant, resembling the massive Zhaoling Palace. Furthermore, a natural inverted Tai Chi diagram, distinctly distinguishing yin and yang, is vividly depicted on the steep cliffs of Yuchi Peak. This is a natural masterpiece, created by the penetration of the colorful rocks. Xianhua Mountain boasts many narrow peaks, their cliffs slashing like swords. The opposing Yuchi Peak and Yugui Peak stand like two sharp blades piercing the sky. The gorge narrows as you ascend, reaching a minimum of just over one meter, as thin as a kitchen knife. It's nicknamed "Thin Knife Lane," creating a sense of impenetrability: "One man guards the pass, ten thousand cannot break through."
A well-timed descent along the circular route offers breathtaking views. The terraced fields at the foot of the mountain appear even more desolate in autumn and winter. In the distance, the Jinkengling Reservoir, the source of water for the people of Pujiang, is beautiful and clear.
We arrived at the foot of the mountain around 6:00 PM and boarded the bus back to the hotel for dinner. Afterward, we could arrange for some hunting and dancing...
Day 2 Pujiang River → Songxi River → Panzhoujia Village → Shanghai
All day
7:00 AM, time to wake up!
Breakfast at 7:30 AM, then board the bus at 8:00 AM for Songxi Ancient Village. Founded in the Song Dynasty, this village boasts 1,560 ancient buildings. Hidden deep in the mountains, this seldom-intruded village, with over 800 years of history, is known as "Little Hangzhou."
At 10:30 AM, board the bus for Panzhoujia Village, known as the "Noodle Village," a trip that takes just over an hour. Upon first arriving, we'll be amazed by the "noodles waterfall" that fills the village. Every household is busy making noodles, and cascading noodle drying racks can be seen everywhere. In autumn and winter, as long as the weather is clear, villagers will be out drying their homemade noodles the night before. Follow your guide to explore the noodle waterfalls and take group photos. Don't hold back your appetite in the noodle village; you can freely try a bowl of the local specialty, "Yigenmian," and even skipping rope with noodles!
At 13:30, we boarded the bus back to Shanghai and arrived back at the departure point in Shanghai around 18:30 in the afternoon. Everyone was still reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes!
