Meet and sign in at Kecun Exit B (Line 3 & Line 8) (If it is a holiday, the meeting time will be advanced 30 minutes to 7:00-7:30)

Get on the bus on time and start the trip. Introduce yourself to each other, introduce the attractions, and interact with each other on the bus.

Arrive at a farmhouse near the scenic area, have an AA meal together, and then head to the Guangdong Grand Canyon after lunch. Enter the scenic area and walk along the ecological landscape trail.

Crossing the narrow canyon, we passed Juxiantai and Fairy Pond, where the emerald waters began to appear close before our eyes. Dozens of streams and pools, both large and small, meandered along the mountainside, a scene rivaling the beauty of Jiuzhaigou. After leaving the Shuijuanzhai scenic area, we entered the waterfront for a short break and some free play. Afterward, we continued our winding journey deeper into the canyon, arriving at the foot of Hukou Waterfall (Tenglong Waterfall) and feeling the mist wash over us.

4:00 PM

Exit the canyon and return to the hiking trail. Along the way, you can also watch the high-altitude tightrope walking performance, which is thrilling. After watching the performance, gather at the entrance of the scenic area. When everyone is together, get on the bus and return at the appropriate time.

The Guangdong Grand Canyon is located in Dabu Town, 68 kilometers southwest of Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, Shaoguan City. The canyon stretches 15 kilometers long and is over 300 meters deep. The distance between the two banks varies, ranging from over a thousand meters to just a hundred meters at its narrowest. With its crisscrossing ancient ravines, towering peaks, and towering ancient trees, it is a popular destination for adventure tourism. The Grand Canyon is only 4 kilometers from Dabu Town. The road is gentle, with only the faint sight of distant mountains, making it feel like you are galloping across a plain. However, before long, the road suddenly ends. Before you even reach the summit, you find yourself perched proudly on the mountaintop. Before you can even take a deep breath, a chasm descends before you. It's as if a giant hand has suddenly torn the earth apart from the sky, revealing bare rocks, streams crisscrossing the valley, and vast, flat forests covered in mist and clouds, forming a stunning scar on the land of southern Guangdong. After eons of wind and rain, the endless foothills on both sides of the Guangdong Grand Canyon are now a vast expanse.

The Tenglong Pond Scenic Area, characterized by its grandeur, unique beauty, and imposing presence, is the most impressive section of the canyon. Its main attractions are waterfalls and pictographic peaks, encompassing 19 scenic spots, including the Tenglong Grand Waterfall, the Huanglong Waterfall, the Liuyin Waterfall, the Tongtian Ladder, and the Rhinoceros Holding the Waterfall. Formerly known as the Chengtou Grand Waterfall, the Tenglong Grand Waterfall boasts a drop of over 200 meters, giving rise to the name of Dabu (Waterfall) Town. Tenglong Pond, 18 meters deep and 60 meters wide, boasts a turquoise waterscape with cascading sprays. The TV series "The Sword of Blood and Valour" was filmed here. Even more astonishingly, aquatic biologists discovered the "living fossil" of the water, the peach blossom jellyfish, in the pool. This 650-million-year-old creature has extremely high environmental requirements, requiring no pollution.

The Shuijuanzhai Scenic Area, known for its secluded, deep, and exquisite beauty, is the core of the canyon. Dozens of streams and pools, including Peach Blossom Pool, Fairy Pool, Heart Song Pool, and Evergreen Pool, meander along the mountainside, rivaling the beauty of Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan. The valley also boasts nationally protected species such as the Alsophila spinulosa. Stunning peaks crisscross the canyon, while scenic spots such as General Stone, Laughing Child Delivering Wealth, Immortal Buddha, and the Immortal Umbrella Handle are dotted throughout the valley floor, creating a diverse natural gallery.
