[Learn to make a hand-pulled teapot] Experience the intangible cultural heritage and make a teapot of your own.

16:30 The trip ends and you can continue to visit the teahouse.

Note: If the hand-pulled pot needs to be fired, you need to pay 30 yuan/person on site, excluding shipping (including glazing). The work will be delivered to you about one month later.

Chaozhou: Chaozhou was the ancient capital of the Chaoshan region. Home to the Guangji Bridge, one of China's four ancient bridges, Chaoshan retains its intact city walls and features such historical structures as the Guangji Tower, Memorial Archway Street, and the Han Weng Temple, all embodying Chaoshan characteristics. Beyond the city walls lies the Han River, creating a picturesque scene alongside the Guangji Tower and the bridge. Chaoshan boasts a rich cultural heritage, particularly during the Spring Festival. Traditional folk activities such as worshipping the gods, lighting lanterns, celebrating the Great Labor Festival, dragon and lion dances, and drying large pigs are spontaneously celebrated in villages, towns, and cities across the Chaoshan region. Households are decorated with lanterns and firecrackers, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere. Intangible cultural heritage remains, including straw painting, Chaoshan embroidery, Chaoshan opera, Chaoshan woodcarving, Kung Fu tea, and hand-pulled teapots. The region also boasts numerous local delicacies, including rice noodles, beef hot pot, Chaoshan beef balls, braised goose, and various rice cake products.

Kaiyuan Zhenguo Zen Temple: Kaiyuan Temple in Chaozhou is one of the ten most famous Kaiyuan temples in China. Located in Chaozhou's ancient city, next to Paifang Street, it is a relatively well-preserved Tang Dynasty architectural complex. The temple is magnificent, with exquisite wood and stone carvings. The Buddha statue shimmers with golden light, and it is a popular place of worship. It is the most important ancient temple in eastern Guangdong and is known as "a blessed land for millions of families and a forest for the three thousand worlds."

Guangji Bridge: Combining beam bridge, floating bridge and arch bridge, it is a unique example of ancient bridge in my country. With its unique style of "eighteen shuttle boats and twenty-four continents", it is known as one of the four major ancient bridges in China together with Zhaozhou Bridge, Luoyang Bridge and Lugou Bridge. Renowned bridge expert Mao Yisheng praised it as "a relatively early opening and closing bridge in the world."
