Day 1 Shanghai → Tianhuangping
All day
We'll meet at the bottom of the Mingshen Center Building at 1:00 PM and depart at 1:30 PM. Along the way, our photography instructor will explain the itinerary, provide interactive presentations, and share photography tips, all with much laughter and conversation. We'll arrive at Tianhuangping around 6:30 PM and enjoy dinner at a farmhouse.
After setting up our assigned tents, we headed to the astronomical observatory for stargazing, gazing at the world beyond. Then, back at camp, everyone gathered for our team leader's star photography class, where everyone learned about pre- and post-production photography techniques. Remember to take notes! This is an exclusive class! Then, we waited for the Milky Way (its rise time varies daily, and the team leader will let us know the specific time). While we waited, we began light painting. This is a great time to unleash your creativity—draw, write your loved one's name, etc. We could also chat about photography and our experiences. Time passed, and the stars gradually appeared. We had plenty of time to focus on our photography, and with a little luck, we might even be able to photograph fireflies. It was also the start of the Perseid meteor shower, so if we waited patiently, we might even see and photograph shooting stars streaking across the sky.
The filming lasts until late at night, so if you are tired you can just fall asleep in the tent!
Day 2: Huangping → Hidden Dragon Waterfall → Shanghai
All day
Because we slept late last night to photograph the starry sky, tourists are free to get up in the morning to photograph the sunrise or sleep until they wake up naturally.
We'll meet at 8:00 AM and depart for Canglong Baipu Waterfall, which takes about half an hour to reach. Baipu Creek is home to the largest waterfall complex in Jiangnan. The pristine, ecological canyon is so picturesque that even in the summer sun, dense trees block out most of the sunlight, making it ideal for slow-motion photography. Baipu Creek boasts numerous waterfalls and streams, each perfect for savoring.
The filming lasted until noon, when we had lunch at a local farmer's house and tasted some local game. After lunch, we returned to Shanghai.
We arrived in Shanghai around 5pm. We were all still reluctant to leave, so we kissed goodbye with tears in our eyes! Don't forget to hand in your homework!
