Day 2 Naha → Marine Park → Nakijin → Naha
·morning
After breakfast, we set off and headed north, first arriving at the Busena Marine Park.
Here, you'll find Okinawa's only underwater observation tower, where you can directly admire the vibrant tropical fish nurtured by the beautiful emerald green sea. We'll also take a glass-bottomed boat tour, exploring the depths of the ocean to witness the vibrant coral reefs and the vibrant fish playing carefree. Enjoy a leisurely stroll in the sea, feeling the soothing ocean breeze and immersing yourself in your own underwater world.
Next, we'll visit Kouri Island. Located in the northern part of Okinawa Main Island, it circumnavigates approximately 8 kilometers. As you cross the Kouri Bridge, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking scenery. Sugarcane fields dot the island, along with historical Okinawan architecture, making it a popular location for many famous films and commercials. Other attractions include the Origin Cave and Heart-Shaped Rock. Furthermore, next to the Kouri Island Lighthouse, a 30-meter-high cliff stretches for approximately 2 kilometers, creating a vast and majestic landscape. The beach near the Kouri Bridge attracts many tourists for both swimming and snorkeling.
·afternoon
We will visit Churaumi Aquarium, one of the most popular attractions in Ocean Expo Park, and explore the marine world of the Kuroshio Current through a giant transparent panel!
At the aquarium, a spectacular world filled with mysterious Okinawa creatures unfolds before you. Sunlight streams down the "Coral Sea" tank, showcasing over 800 diverse corals. The majestic "Kuroshio Sea" tank houses the world's largest whale sharks and the world's first successfully captive-bred manta rays. "Deep Sea" offers a complete Okinawa ocean experience, recreating the mysteries of the deep sea. Giant whale sharks, up to 8.7 meters in length, manta rays, and a vibrant array of fish create a kaleidoscopic world. The whale sharks, manta rays, and numerous other fish of the Kuroshio Sea offer a breathtaking and tangible experience.
After visiting the aquarium, return to Naha and visit an authentic Ryukyu izakaya, where you can enjoy shamisen music and authentic Okinawan cuisine. (You will need to return to your hotel after dinner.)

Day 3 Naha → Tomari Port Market → Shuri Castle → Gangala Rainforest → Sunset on Senaga Island
·morning
After breakfast, we will first go to the Ryukyu Royal Palace - [Shuri Castle].
As a symbol of Okinawan culture, Shuri Castle carries the glory and legend of the island. In 2019, Shuri Castle suffered a fire, and most of the buildings were reduced to ashes in the fire. We will witness how the Japanese government carefully restores this ancient palace and reshapes Okinawa's ancient and glorious past.
Then we went to [Tomari Port Fish Market] for free lunch.
What's a good place to visit an island without savoring the seafood? While the Tomari Port Fish Market isn't huge, it offers a wide variety of seafood. It's also conveniently located right by the pier, and fresh seafood is prepared every morning and served directly to your table. It's also incredibly affordable, so why not try the all-you-can-eat option for just ¥1,000?
·afternoon
In the afternoon, we'll travel to the southern Gangala Valley. This valley was formed by the collapse of a stalactite cave hundreds of thousands of years ago. In 2016, the world's oldest fishhook (approximately 23,000 years old) was unearthed, suggesting that it once housed some remains of ancient primitive human life. This valley offers a glimpse into a mystical world woven together by nature and is also a valuable archaeological treasure.
We strolled through the enchanting rainforest and then arrived at the Cave Cafe, a famous coffee shop at the entrance to the scenic area. Here, you can taste Okinawa coffee beans roasted on weathered coral and brewed with cave water.
After the rainforest tour, we returned to Senaga Island in downtown Naha to enjoy the beautiful seascape and the magnificent sight of planes taking off and landing. We watched the sunset from here. The beautiful pure white buildings, combined with the afterglow of the setting sun, made us feel like we were on Santorini Island at dusk.
