Day 1: All over the country → or → Chengdu ★ Gathering day
All day
The first day is a full-day meeting day. Tourists will proceed to the meeting hotel based on their arrival time in Chengdu. At the hotel, provide the front desk with your "China-Travel Note + Name" to check in. We recommend arriving early to stroll around, rest, and experience the slow pace of Chengdu while savoring the various local snacks.
That evening, the team leader will notify and gather the team members to start a pre-trip briefing, explain the itinerary precautions, and check personal equipment.
Recommended places to visit: Jinli Ancient Street, Wuhou Temple, Kuanzhai Alley, and Chunxi Road, one of the top ten commercial streets in China.
Food recommendation: There are many Chengdu snacks in Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley: Long Chao Shou, Dandan Noodles, Feichangfen, and Maocai.
Day 2 Chengdu → Niubei Mountain

After breakfast at the Chengdu hotel in the morning, we set off. After lunch in Lenqi Town at the foot of Niubei Mountain, we headed to Niubei Mountain Scenic Area.
Special Notes:
The scenic bus service on some sections of Niubei Mountain (Qiankunling-top of the mountain) has been suspended. After getting off at Qiankunling, you can choose to walk to the top of the mountain or take a go-kart at your own expense.
If you choose to hike: 2 km one way (on a wooden plank path), with a 300-meter ascent. It is recommended that you bring your own crampons or wear non-slip shoes. Luggage carts are available to assist with checked luggage. China-TravelNote provides trekking poles, which can be borrowed free of charge.
If you choose to take a go-kart: 2 people per car, 180 yuan/2 people, at your own expense, the driver must hold a driver's license.
If you do not have a driver's license, you can ask local staff to help drive you to the mountaintop camp in a go-kart. The one-way fee is 180 yuan per car.

After checking in, you can fully enjoy photographing the magnificent sea of clouds over Mount Gongga and the sunset glow. Your tour leader will arrange for everyone to prepare for Milky Way photography at the appropriate time based on the current conditions of the Milky Way and the moon phase that evening. They will also provide on-site guidance on how to photograph the Milky Way.
Day 3: Tianniubei Mountain → Kangding → Zheduo Mountain → Zerenbengzeng Viewing Platform → Xinduqiao

Get up early to photograph the sunrise and sea of clouds at Niubei Mountain. As it is located at the junction of plateau and plain, Niubei Mountain has a high probability of sea of clouds throughout the year, especially at sunrise. It is also an excellent location to photograph the sunrise on the east slope of Gongga Mountain.

We will descend the mountain in due time and take a bus to Kangding. After crossing the Zheduo Pass at an altitude of 4,298 meters, we will arrive in the real Kham Tibetan area. We will arrive in Xinduqiao Town for lunch.

In the afternoon we headed to the Zerenbengzeng Viewing Platform, which is only half an hour’s drive from Xinduqiao. We will wait here for the sunset and the blue hour. After the shooting, we will go down the mountain in time and return to Xinduqiao for accommodation.
Day 4 Xinduqiao → Shangmuju → Lenggacuo

After breakfast, we will depart from Xinduqiao and drive to Shangmuju Village, a Tibetan village at the foot of Mount Gongga.

After a brief rest at Shangmuju Inn, we set off on foot to Lengka Co., which is located on the hillside at an altitude of 4,500 meters on the west side of Yulong West Village. It is a great place to view the main peak and main ridge of Gongga Mountain.
We will wait for the sunset here and enjoy the golden glow of Mount Gongga. At night, we can also take pictures of the starry sky.
Day 5: Lenggacuo → Zimei Pass → Shangmuju

The team leader will provide everyone with a simple breakfast of canned porridge and bread. After taking photos of the morning light and shadow of Gongga Mountain, we will go down the mountain in time and return to Shangmuju Inn to rest.

In the afternoon, we will take a bus to Zimei Pass to wait for the sunset. Zimei Pass is also a great place to watch the sunset over Gongga Mountain, and you may even have a chance to encounter the sea of clouds and Buddha's light.

After taking photos of the sunrise over Jinshan Mountain, we returned to Shangmuju Inn for accommodation.
Day 6: Tianshang Wooden House → Hiking starting point → Lisuohai

After breakfast, we will depart for [Lisuohai] at the appropriate time. The vehicle will take us to the starting point of the hike. We will hike up the mountain for about 10 kilometers, which takes 5-6 hours. You can also take a motorcycle at your own expense.

In the afternoon, we camped by the Lisuohai Lake, facing the snow-capped mountains, waiting for the sunset, and at night we could take beautiful photos of the starry sky.
Day 7: Lisuohai → Shangmuju → Gongga Dressing Table → Xinduqiao

We got up early and took some free time to shoot. The sunrise over Lisuohai was a bit off, but we still had the opportunity to take some good photos. We left at the right time after the shoot and returned to Shangmuju.

Afterward, we'll return by car and head to Gongga Dressing Table for a chance to photograph the Gongga Mountains. Gongga Dressing Table is closer to Gongga than Yuzi West, offering a veritable 360-degree viewing platform. At sunset, admire the Gongga Peaks, Zhongshan Peak, Leduomanyin, Edjia Peak, Jiazi Peak, and other snow-capped peaks spread out horizontally, creating a visual feast for the senses.
After the filming, we returned to Xinduqiao to check in.
Day 8 Xinduqiao → Chengdu ★ Disbandment Day

After breakfast, depart for Chengdu by bus.
Friends who are not leaving today can make an appointment to have hot pot or cold pot fish, reminisce about the fun and gossips of the trip, and make an appointment to travel together next time.
