Tour Xishan Island using the "4+2" method
4-wheel commercial vehicle + 2-wheel bicycle = 4+2 travel
08:00-08:30 Gather at the entrance of your hotel in Suzhou city and drive to Xishan Island;
The driver will inform you of the pick-up time by text message before 20:00 the day before the trip. Please be ready 10 minutes in advance.
Our driver will pick you up at your door, so you don't need to go to the meeting place by yourself like regular tours. The area covers the main urban area of Suzhou. Please be sure to fill in your hotel address when placing an order!
Around 09:00-09:20, we arrived at the first cycling station of Xishan Island: Tingshan Ferry Pier, picked up our favorite bicycles, and started our journey around Xishan Island;
09:30-11:00 Cycle along the 20km highlight of Xishan Island, with the breeze caressing your face and the lake rippling. On one side is the ancient village of Qingshan, on the other side is the boundless Taihu Lake, with flocks of lake birds and the fragrance of flowers and plants along the way~~Explore the ancient village of Dongcun (a small village hidden in the south of the Yangtze River) or look for Yinshan Island, which is independent in Taihu Lake. We can ride to Yinshan Island, buy a cup of coffee, take a break, and feel the lake breeze.
11:00 Continue riding or take the accompanying car according to your own situation;
12:00 PM: Enjoy a simple meal at the farmhouse, including authentic "Three Whites of Taihu Lake," "Scrambled Eggs with Whitebait," "Taihu Lake Shrimp," and "Fresh Fern Soup." (Lunch at own expense)
After a good rest, we continued our island tour in the afternoon. The spring scenery and the fragrance of fruit trees were so pleasant along the way!
At 14:00, we will have fun on the Ring Lake Road and take some road photos. In the afternoon, we will ride to the destination: Suzhou Da Ruyi Holy Land, and then we will finish the ride.
You can sit on the embankment and take a photo of your back in those days;

Cycling route: Tingshan Ferry Pier - Dongcun Ancient Village - to and from Yinshan Island - along Taihu Lake - Yuwang Temple - Suzhou Daruyi Holy Land (after arriving at the end point, you can place your bicycle on the roof of the car)
Special arrangements
This route is for non-professional cyclists. Elderly people and children can participate if they are accompanied by their families. It is a leisurely cycling experience and you can also enjoy the scenery of Taihu Lake by riding a car (the car will accompany you throughout the ride).
At 15:30, take a small car to Mingyuewan Ancient Village, which has appeared frequently in various film and television dramas (entrance fees are at your own expense);
Popular TV series such as "All Is Well" and "Fall in Love with You" were filmed here. We took a short break here, quietly admiring the vast Taihu Lake from the popular pier and listening to the birds singing beside the lake.
In the evening, take the bus back to your hotel in downtown Suzhou (arriving in the city around 17:00-18:00). See you at the next stop. (Note: If it is cloudy, return earlier.)
