Autumn is in the air. Golden Three Continents | Enjoy the scenery, historical sites, and history at the junction of the three continents

Day 1 Shanghai → Sanzhou Village → Luojie Village → Shanghai

All day

Meet at the designated location of China-TravelNote between 7:00-7:15 am.

Depart on time at 7:15 and head to the destination. We played interactive games along the way and got to know each other.

The 11.4 batch of ginkgo trees have not yet turned yellow, and the autumn hiking routes are operating as normal. Please be advised

Arriving at the starting point [Sanzhou Mountain Village] around 11:00, after packing up, we began to enter the [Sanzhou Ancient Road], passing by the ruins of the New Fourth Army Rear Hospital. The ginkgo trees here are very beautiful and you can take photos and check in.

(The road up the mountain is steep and narrow, so you can hold on to bamboo to move forward)

We arrived at Taihua Village around 1:00 PM, where there was a small shop and restrooms. We found a flat, open area to rest and have lunch, chatting and sharing our lunch. It was such a pleasant experience.

After lunch, we started to climb Jiufeng Mountain along the steps. When we reached the top of the mountain, we could see a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, which is said to have been planted by Sun Quan's mother.

Afterwards, you will pass a ridgeline covered with fallen leaves. The slope here is gentle and the hiking feels very comfortable.

Around 16:30, we went down the mountain and arrived at the end point [Luojie Village]. The villages along the way were quaint and the ginkgo trees were golden.

Around 17:00, we set off for the return journey, ending a pleasant day.

We arrived at our departure point in Shanghai around 20:00. We were reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in our eyes.

Driving time: about 3 hours

Hiking: Today's hike was 13.6 km, with a total ascent of about 763 m and a total descent of about 779 m. There were many dirt roads in the bamboo forest, and a small number of stone steps.

1.Why didn’t I receive a text message notification after registering?

2. What if it rains during the event?

2-3 days before the event, we will decide whether the event will proceed as scheduled based on the weather forecast and route conditions. Please pay attention to our notifications. Most activities can proceed as usual even if there is light rain. There is still fun to be had on rainy days. If heavy rain is forecast, the event will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to everyone.

3. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and a few large models are 53-seat. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

The Sanzhou Ancient Trail, named after Sanzhou Village in Meishan, passes by the New Fourth Army's rear hospital and spans three provinces. The entire trail, lined with towering trees, swaying bamboo, and gurgling streams, offers breathtaking scenery and is perfect for a day hike. Gathering friends and family for a hike together is the perfect way to relax this season.
