Day 1 Shanghai → Taizhou

All day

07:30-07:45, meet at the designated location of China-TravelNote and sign in. 07:45 sharp, depart on time, with itinerary briefings and team member interactions, all filled with laughter and joy along the way.

We'll have lunch at the service area and then have a delicious dinner in the evening! (Traffic is common during the holidays, so we'll use real-time navigation to avoid congested roads. Relax, tourists, and look forward to your island vacation!)

Around 14:30, we arrived at the hotel in Taizhou city and checked in. After a short break, we headed to Baiyun Mountain in Taizhou city.

[Green cloud platform, stairs and pepper river breeze]

For those who don't enjoy strenuous mountain climbing, rejoice! Taizhou Jiaojiang's three-step escalator will whisk you soaring into the heavens! From the foot of Baiyun Mountain, take the escalator directly to the plank road mid-mountain. A short hike up offers panoramic views of Taizhou! At sunset, the city becomes like a La La Land, brimming with romance. Don't hesitate to check out this stunning sunset and capture your very own "La La Land" moment!

After coming down the mountain, we can stroll along the Jiaojiang River in the evening, or take a slow walk in the city and try the local special snacks.

Everyone, go to bed early and look forward to escaping the city and heading to the romantic blue island trip tomorrow~

Driving time: Shanghai to Taizhou, about 5 hours.

Hiking: Park leisure hiking

Day 2 Taizhou → Lower Dachen Island → → Island hopping

All day

We got up early in the morning and arrived at the pier around 7:00-7:30 (depending on the boat schedule of the day) and took a boat to Xia Dachen Island for a trip.

After a 1.5-hour boat ride, we arrived at Xia Dachen Island. We checked in at the hotel first, and then we could go to the island to have fun.

The top priority at noon must be a seafood dinner. I was so sleepy after getting up early, so I took a rest in the room and took a nap after dinner.

[Fairy Rope on the Sea Cliff, Romantic Lighthouse - Jiawu Rock]

Meet at around 2:00 PM and board the scenic bus to visit landmarks like Jiawu Rock, Sigui Pavilion, and Feihu Cliff. Alternatively, rent an electric scooter to enjoy the sea breeze and stop at any time to take in the scenery and take photos.

The island tour concludes around 5:30 PM. We recommend heading to Jilongtou to catch the sunset, where the sea turns orange and you can take some stunning silhouette photos. Afterward, you'll have some free time for dinner, where you can relax and enjoy delicious food at the island-style street, soaking in the charm of the ocean.

In the evening, you can gather around the fire to chat and take stargazing photos. You can also explore the seafloor for microscopic creatures called "sea glows," also known as blue tears. These "blue tears" are scattered along the coastline, sometimes washing up on cliffs, resembling a gorgeous blue silk. The faint blue glow against the inky black sea is a rare sight.

Day 3 Dachen Island → Taizhou → Shanghai

All day

I woke up early in the morning to the call of the waves. My friends who wanted to watch the sunrise got up at 4:30 and prepared to go to the viewing point to enjoy the rising sun.

Take a nap or stroll along the beach while waiting for our breakfast.

Around 8:00, get up and have breakfast; around 9:00, after breakfast, gather and depart for the boat to Shangdachen Island. (The specific time depends on the boat that day)

[Sea Cliff Eagle Road, Stepping on the Waves of Wushatou - General Rock]

Walking along the sea cliff plank road, every step is breathtaking. The blue ocean collides and rolls with the black gravel, and the scenery crashes into the field of vision like waves. It is really beautiful.

Shangdachen Island is relatively desolate and sparsely populated. We completed a short hike there. Sika deer are native to the island, and you might even spot one on your hike.

At 14:30, we went to the dock to prepare to leave Dachen Island.

Arrive back in Taizhou around 16:30. (Because the ferry schedule to Dachen Island is irregular, the latest arrival time in Taizhou is 16:30.) After arriving in Taizhou, board the bus back to Shanghai.

Around 21:30, we returned to Shanghai. Everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.

Driving time: Taizhou to Shanghai, about 5 hours

Hiking: Hike to Shangdachen. About 8km

1. What if it rains during the event?

2-3 days before the event, we will decide whether the event will proceed as scheduled based on the weather forecast and route conditions. Please pay attention to our notifications. Most activities can proceed as usual even if there is light rain. There is still fun to be had on rainy days. If heavy rain is forecast, the event will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to everyone.

2. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and a few large models are 53-seat. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

Dachen Island, formerly known as Dongzhen Mountain, is located in the southeastern waters of Taizhou Bay in eastern Zhejiang Province. Comprising Upper Dachen Island (6.6 square kilometers) and Lower Dachen Island (5.2 square kilometers), it is the largest island in the Taizhou Archipelago. A legendary island, Dachen Island boasts a unique natural and cultural landscape, offering a perfect setting for vacations, sightseeing, and historical exploration. Known as the "Pearl of the East China Sea," Dachen Island boasts a forest coverage rate of 50-60%, making it a provincial-level marine forest park. Dachen Island also boasts a legendary history. In the mid-16th century, Dachen Island was a battleground in the naval resistance against Japanese pirates. The remains of a smoke tower at Fengmenling on Lower Dachen Island, built by the remaining Ming troops, remain. In 1955, Dachen Island was the last mainland territory to be liberated. Following its liberation, the concept of "peaceful liberation of Taiwan" was proposed. The island's rolling hills and unique natural and cultural landscapes make it a popular destination for vacations, sightseeing, and historical exploration. On the island, you can also go windsurfing, swim in the ocean, pick shells on deserted islands, fish by the sea, try seafood, stay at a fishing village, and enjoy the fun of the sea. You can also visit the ancient battlefield where Dachen Island was recaptured and feel the vicissitudes of history.
