Gather everyone and take the shuttle bus down the mountain to the designated meeting point, then transfer to the bus you took when you came and return.

7:00 PM

When we arrived at the departure point in Shanghai, we all said goodbye with tears in our eyes. It was still early for us to return home and reunite with our families.

Due to the restriction of buses at the starting point of the ancient trail, you need to take a free scenic shuttle bus from the Dajingshan Distribution Center to reach the hiking point.

The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. The waiting time depends on the specific situation on the day. If the waiting time exceeds 1 hour during the Spring Festival, the tour leader will change the itinerary: the minibus will stop directly at Jingshan Temple, and the hike will be changed to a 3-4 km downhill hike on the Jingshan Ancient Trail.

Driving time: 3 hours

Hiking: Today's total distance is about 2-3km, with a total climb of about 500m

Note: The temple entrance fee is 30 yuan per person.

Jingshan, located in Changle Township, Yuhang County, Zhejiang Province, is over 50 kilometers northwest of Hangzhou. Jingshan Temple sits on Jingshan Peak, surrounded by seven towering peaks, including Pengbo and Lingxiao, resembling a treasure held in the palm of your hand.
The Jingshan Ancient Trail is the path Master Jianzhen traveled from Jingshan Temple in Yuhang to the White Horse Temple in Lin'an on his journey to Japan to preach Buddhist teachings. The path is paved with bluestone and gurgling mountain springs. The trail is flanked by steep cliffs and towering ancient trees, some said to be over 500 years old. Lush, verdant bamboo forests grow silently and straight.
