On the gathering day, you will have free time all day. Those who arrive early can stroll around Nanning Zhongshan Street and try local delicacies such as Laoyoufen!

Day 2 Nanning → Leye → Fengzidang Tiankeng

We set off for Leye and arrived at Leye County around noon.
During lunch time, we have a free lunch at Leye 🍴
2:00 PM
We went to the cave entrance with light luggage and met with the downhill coach. We first arranged a simple training to familiarize ourselves with the equipment and tried to descend from a 3-5m high platform. After the training, we went to the nearby Fengzidang Cave for practical training.

This cave connects three windows. After thousands of years of erosion and crustal uplift, the underground river channel disappeared and collapsed, forming three skylights. Here, we will use a rope to rappel from Pit 1 to the bottom of the cave. Once we reach the bottom, we will begin our hike through the cave, passing Tyndall Window No. 2 and exiting the cave at Pit 3. Check out the same fish-mouth cave shape as seen in National Geographic.

After exiting the cave, we returned to Leye Hotel to taste the local delicacies and try the local beef.
Day 3: Crossing the Earth's Center at Xiongjiadong Cave in Leye

Breakfast and head to Leye Xiongjia Cave✨
The Xiongjia Cave route was a highlight of the 2015 Journey to the Center of the Earth National Hiking Competition. The various flowstone dams within the cave are breathtakingly beautiful. Like a vast geological museum, the cave showcases the treasures formed over millions of years, including giant stalagmites, helmet-shaped stone helmets, lotus disks, and cave beads. Experience the cave with a professional caving instructor for a safe and rewarding experience.
This trip will make you forget all the colorful caves you have seen before, which are painted with artificial lights. You will feel the wonders of nature and discover secrets in the dark.
At lunch time, we rested in Xiongjia Cave and had a simple meal we brought with us.
We continued hiking in the cave in the afternoon. The cave was full of quartz sand crystals. When we shone the headlamp on it, it was dotted with stars, like a sky full of stars. Here, you have to marvel at the wonders of nature.
5:00 PM
After exiting the cave, we return to the hotel/inn, wash up briefly and have dinner. We can meet up to taste the farmer's special earthen oven charcoal hot pot and Leye cuisine.
Day 4: Leye Tanjia Tiankeng descent → Haokun Lake

After breakfast, we set off to Leye Tanjia Tiankeng✨
There is a primeval forest under this tiankeng. In addition to common trees and shrubs, rare ancient mosses from the dinosaur era, ferns, and other low-level plants are common there.
Here, we'll experience an extreme descent down a 120-meter drop, a thrilling adrenaline rush that will challenge you and push you to the limit. Experience the thrill of free flight while ensuring safety.
After descending to the bottom of the pit, we waited together for the other friends to come down and join us, and then slowly walked back to the entrance of the tiankeng along the plank road from the bottom of the tiankeng.

After exiting the cave, we had a simple lunch at a local farmhouse and then headed to Lingyun Haokun Lake Scenic Area✨
2:30 PM
Driving through the karst valley and passing through a cave, we came to an isolated lake surrounded by peaks on all sides.
We took a hike along the Haokun Lake High Road, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the lake as we hiked.
Following the villagers' old stone road, we arrived at the wild viewing platform on the cliff, which is the same check-in spot as celebrity Zhang Xinyu.
Then we slowly walked down the mountain along the high road hiking route. Along the way, there were various shaped stones, Internet celebrity trees and other camera positions. The eyes were full of emerald lake and peak forest reflections.
After going down the mountain and returning to the scenic greenway, we hiked along the greenway by the lake to the end.
At night we stayed in a hotel in the Haokun Scenic Area and enjoyed the tranquility of this outdoor paradise.
Day 5 Haokun Lake Hiking → Nanning

We experienced paddleboarding at Haokun Lake, and experienced Haokun Lake from a different perspective. We shuttled across the lake, looking at the rippling emerald green water and the tall mountains on both sides, like emeralds enveloping the peaks in the middle (starting from November, we adjusted to cycling along the Haokun Lake)
We returned to Nanning and disbanded at noon
