Come to the World Cultural Heritage [Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum] and step onto the Stone Elephant Road on the cover of history books. Go to Xiaoling Mausoleum to discover the 600-year history of the Ming Dynasty. Every season here is a feast of history and nature.

From the ancient Taoye Ferry, where Wang Xianzhi met his concubine during the Jin Dynasty, we journey to the Qinhuai River. We'll stop by Confucius Temple, the Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall, and Wende Bridge, savoring authentic Nanjing cuisine and leaving behind the flavors of Nanjing. Finally, we'll visit the Wang Dao and Xie An Memorial Hall at the entrance of Wuyi Lane. As the sun sets, we'll admire the former residences of the Wang and Xie An families, a reminder of the vast differences between the present and the past.

Shop and eat in Lao Mendong, explore the Pioneer Bookstore, Junhui Bookstore, and the Nanjing branch of Deyun Society, and then explore Lao Mendong on your own (you can take a boat tour and cruise the Outer Qinhuai River at night).

Pilgrimage to Niu Shou Mountain
Niu Shou Mountain boasts a rich cultural heritage, being the site of Yue Fei's campaign against the Jin army and the final resting place of Zheng He. It also boasts a long history of Buddhist and Zen culture, being the birthplace and origin of the Niutou School of Chinese Zen Buddhism. In summer, admire the bamboo forest, where the hollowness of the bamboo represents the Buddhist concept of emptiness.
The Buddha's Crown Palace, standing 89.3 meters tall, houses the skull of Gautama Buddha, a world-renowned site. Pray with sincerity and devotion. The interior is divided into nine floors: three above ground and six underground. The underground floor comprises the Relic Hall and the Relic Storage Hall.
