Day 1 Shanghai → Anji → Longwangshan → Shanghai
All day
Meet at the designated location of China-TravelNote between 06:50 and 07:00 and sign in. Depart at 07:00 sharp. On the bus, we'll explain the itinerary and precautions, introduce ourselves, and happily chat all the way to our destination.
At around 12:00, we arrived at the top of the mountain. Everyone fully participated in the warm-up exercises and started hiking after getting ready.
Around 13:00 we reached the ridge of the Tianlong Ancient Trail. After a long climb, everyone could breathe a sigh of relief and take a break.
Around 2:30 PM, we arrived at the foot of Longwang Mountain. It was lunchtime! Everyone unpacked their delicious food and began enjoying it. Afterward, we rested briefly before embarking on our journey to the summit of Longwang Mountain, the highest peak of the Seven Peaks.
Around 3:00 PM, we reached the summit of Longwang Mountain (elevation: 1,587 meters). At that moment, we were thrilled, looking down at the vast, overlapping mountains stretching into the distance, and finally the horizon. From here, our friends could gaze down at the mountains, play in the snow, laugh out loud, and have fun. If we were lucky, we might even see a sea of clouds rising, a surge of emotion that would fill our hearts, and we would soar to the heavens, our hearts aching with pride.
15:30 Return along the same route after overlooking the Seven Peaks.
4:00 PM: It's easy to climb up the mountain, but difficult to descend. If it's snowing, remember to bring your trekking poles and follow the trail down. It's a thrilling journey, but the tourists help each other and their laughter echoes through the mountains!
At around 17:30, we arrived at the foot of the mountain safely. The bus had been waiting for us for a long time and we set off back to Shanghai.
We arrived in Shanghai around 22:00. Everyone was still reluctant to leave, so we kissed goodbye with tears in our eyes and made plans for the next journey!
Remark:
Due to traffic restrictions in the Tianmu Mountain Scenic Area, buses must transfer to a car at the foot of the mountain. Car fare is at your own expense.
Equipment Tips for Winter Snow Trails:
1. For snow trail hikes, you must bring your own outdoor gear, including crampons, trekking poles, snow covers, cold-weather gloves, mid-to-high-top non-slip hiking shoes, and other equipment.
2. Because this route involves primarily snowy and slippery terrain, crampons are mandatory for safety reasons. These can be purchased online or at stores 2-3 days before registration. If you're late registering, you can select the "Cramps for Sale" option on the page.
3. Please select the option to collect your crampons from your tour leader on the day of your visit with a screenshot of your order. Please verify that there are no quality issues on site. Once used, they are non-refundable.
