Autumn Colors of Qinling Mountains·Secret Liping 2-Day Tour

Pickup will be at Hanzhong Station between 9:00 AM and 9:20 AM. Please confirm your train number and time in advance. We will be waiting for you at Hanzhong Station. Please keep your phone open so the driver can contact you promptly. The driver will usually contact you one day in advance to inform you of the next day's departure time and other important information. This is a two-day trip. After being picked up at the station, we will head to Liping National Forest Park, the "Jiuzhaigou Valley of Shaanxi", to start our autumn viewing journey today.

Today's tour route: Jianxia (Lutiaoxia, Tianjing Stone) - Yunv Peak (Yudai River, Yuzhutan) - Fenglin Waterfall - Qixingtan (Qixing Meadow, Qixing Pavilion) - Zhonghua Longshan - Undersea Stone City - Tianshu Cliff - Hongchen Gorge

[Jianxia] Here, the cliffs on both sides are rugged, and the water in the middle is turbulent, like a sword piercing the cracks in the rocks. You can stop here for a while to appreciate the unique scenery.

Lutiao Gorge: A Beautiful Legend

Legend has it that a mother deer rescued her fawn from the river, only to be drowned herself in the rapids. The cliffs on the opposite bank resemble a deer's head and antlers, representing the fawn's transformation from the deer who watched over its mother. Passing this area offers wide, open spaces, while narrow sections can be crossed in one step, earning it the nickname "One Step Gorge." The currents here are swift, so be sure to exercise caution!

[Yunv Peak] [Yudai River] Fairy legends gather here

Yunv Peak, from afar, resembles a graceful young woman, changing her attire with the changing seasons. Inside Yunv Peak, dense primeval forests obscure the sky, with trees growing among the rocks and reflections of the rocks within them. Walking along the Yudai River, one can experience the scene described in ancient poetry: "The bright moon shines among the pines, and clear springs flow over the rocks." The Yuzhutan River is home to another accessory worn by fairies: jade bracelets. Jade in this world adorns the wrists of beautiful women, and here, the jade bracelets may be admired from afar, but not touched.

When you come to this scenic spot, you will be attracted by the maple forest all over the sky, and you will be amazed by the cascading waterfall. It is also called Xiaohukou Waterfall.

Qixingtan: The bathtub where the seven fairies descended to earth to bathe

Climb up the ladder to heaven and you will come to a quiet place where there are seven stone pools of different sizes scattered around. There is also a natural beauty bathtub beside the pool. Legend has it that it was the bathtub where the seven fairies came down to earth to bathe. It was here that Dong Yong met the seven fairies and got married.

【Zhonghua Longshan】Great Discovery of the 21st Century

This unique geological phenomenon, discovered after the Wenchuan earthquake ripped apart a mountain, is of great scenic and scientific value. It's said that 44.8-46.8 billion years ago, this area was a shallow sea. Storms deposited coastal silt into a variety of hills, creating a unique landscape. Up close, you can clearly see the dragon's spine, scales, and claws. Standing here feels like riding a giant dragon through the clouds.

[Undersea Stone City] Unique karst landforms

The stones of the underwater stone city are in the shape of pillars and stalagmites, with various shapes, just like a castle under the sea. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Liping that night to experience the beauty and tranquility of this place.

[Tianshu Cliff] Extremely rare cliff carvings

Each character of the Chinese character "天书涯" (Tianshu Cliff) is 5 x 5 meters in size, with a spacing of approximately 4 meters. On the way to Hongchen Gorge, there's a viewing spot for red leaves. The sightseeing bus will stop here, allowing you to disembark and admire the crimson leaves covering the mountain. You can also take in some stunning photos of the foliage.

[Hongchen Gorge] A paradise-like love valley with clear water

Arrive at the entrance of Hongchen Gorge plank road, go down the Xiliu River, immerse yourself in it, and forget about the world around you.

Then take the scenic bus to the hotel for check-in.

In the evening, you can find Hanzhong delicacies in Liping Town and feel the tranquility of Liping Town at night.
