Zhangli Ancient Road: Three Waterfalls | Anji Secret Stone House, Canyon Waterfall, and Water Curtain Cave

Meet and sign in at Exit F of Huanglong Sports Center Subway Station

We got on the bus and set off. The tour leader introduced the itinerary and precautions on the bus, and we laughed and talked all the way to Anji!

10:00

Arriving at Zhangli Village, after a warm-up, the group leader officially began their hike. The main route of the Zhejiang Ring Trail consists of the East, West, South, North, and Central routes, as well as two branch routes in Zhoushan and Dongtou District, Wenzhou. The main route is approximately 2,300 kilometers long. The Zhangli Ancient Trail is located in the Huzhou section of the West Route, facing Longwang Mountain. The hike takes in alpine villages, a Torreya nucifera base, large stone houses, cascading waterfalls, small stone houses, water dripping through stone, sister waterfalls, and bamboo forest stone paths.

Note: The mud is slippery and difficult to walk on rainy days, so please prepare trekking poles

Arrive at the Big Stone House at the foot of Golden Mountain for a rest and lunch. (Please bring your own dry food for lunch.) In the summer months of July and August, when temperatures are high, we'll take a small 8km and 400m loop.

End of the hike, return to Hangzhou

When we returned to our starting point in Hangzhou, everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.

Driving time: One way about 2 to 2.5 hours

Hiking: about 12 kilometers, with a total elevation gain of about 700 meters, and takes about 6 hours. In the summer months of July and August, the temperature is higher, so the hike will be adjusted to a small loop of 8 kilometers and 400 meters.
