After arriving, take a sightseeing bus to the B&B. Stay in the Flower and Bird Village by the sea, and you can see the sea as soon as you go out.

--When I first saw flowers and birds, the sea was a boundless leisure--

After a short rest, the tour leader will take you to the Flower and Bird Village to experience the local customs and unique artistic style of Flower and Bird Island.

1. Check in at the [Romantic Love Route] (Road of Love, Study of Love, Colorful Stones, the Most Beautiful Outdoor Marriage Registry in Zhejiang Province, Evening Breeze Square, Buddha's Hand Stone, Internet Celebrity Highway, etc.), walk along the way and take beautiful photos along the way.

2. Come to [Nanwan Beach], where you can run as much as you want, stroll on the beach, swim (depending on the opening situation), pick up shells, catch crabs, and spend a happy afternoon.

3. In the evening, you can dine on your own and split the bill for a seafood feast. Then, you can play cards, play stunts, and enjoy beer at the B&B for an unforgettable night. Plus, you can look up and see the vast starry sky visible to the naked eye.

4. The [Flower and Bird Night Market] is held from time to time. On holidays and summer evenings, there will be grand garden parties + night markets from time to time, which will be very interesting to visit.

--I must go to the beach tonight and try my luck in finding the magical blue tears--

Flower and Bird Island will make you believe that the scene of the fluorescent sea water at night in Ang Lee's movie "Life of Pi" was not deceiving.

The sea does have a blue color that belongs to the night, which is the look of stars falling into the sea.

Note: Island activities are significantly affected by the local ocean climate. In the event of heavy fog, strong winds, or typhoons, flight availability must be confirmed one day in advance. Flight times on the day of departure are subject to actual conditions. In the event of inclement weather, temporary suspension of flights or cancellations due to force majeure are possible. We apologize for any adjustments to your itinerary.

Day 2: Full day at Flower and Bird Island (Sunrise at sea - Fishing at sea - Lighthouse Ancient Village - Sunset at sea - Searching for blue tears)

All day

--Welcoming the Dawn of the East China Sea--

Get up early and watch the sunrise over the sea together, watching the bright, hopeful and vigorous golden sun rise from the East China Sea.

--Islander Life--

Go fishing with the fishermen (at your own expense), or fish at the pier (you can bring your own gear or rent some on the island). The seafood you catch can be used as a lunch snack. It takes no more than half an hour from the sea to your stomach, so it's super fresh!

Experience creative handmade crafts with heat shrinkable sheets (at your own expense). Through hand-painting, heat shrinking, shaping, and finished products, you can personally "seal" the memory of Flower and Bird Island into a work of art to be treasured forever.

--The end of the pier tower line is the lighthouse sunset--

In the afternoon, take a sightseeing bus to [Lighthouse Ancient Village + Flower and Bird Lighthouse], and go all the way along the [Pit Tower Line], feeling the sea breeze, overlooking the sea, with flocks of flowers and birds, and endless sea views.

Follow your guide to explore the Lighthouse Village and chat with the island's elderly residents about the lighthouse and the sea. The village boasts a vast sea pasture, which is stunning at sunset.

--Sunset Concert--

With the sunset as your backdrop and the sea breeze as your seat, sing the chorus of love to the world. This is [The Band's Seaside], a romance unique to Flower and Bird Island. (You can interactively submit the "Love Song" on site.)

The century-old Flower and Bird Lighthouse is lit again with the sunset glow, and we are waiting for the sunset here.

ps: A cooler way to watch the sunset: set sail, take a sailboat, and chase the sunset and sunset glow all the way on the sea (at your own expense, must be booked at least 1 day in advance)

--Enchanting Night--

People always give good wishes to the faint light in the darkness, hoping to see the fluorescent sea. You who are waiting for shooting stars will be luckier throughout the year.

Day 3 Flowers and Birds → → Hangzhou

All day

--You are as free as the sea breeze--

In the morning, the tour leader continued to lead everyone to explore Flower and Bird Island:

1. Form a hiking team and traverse the Xiziyang Trail (a 4km coastal hike suitable for hiking enthusiasts). You'll wander between the green mountains and the blue sea, taking in the breathtaking views. You'll also encounter lambs leisurely foraging for food. Return to the Centennial Lighthouse by bus (20 yuan at your own expense).

2. Explore [Foundation Stone] (2025 is under construction and maintenance, so this trip cannot be arranged at the moment), where you can create a magical coastline and wild sandy beaches in no time.

Free time to visit the [Small Island Art Exhibition] (Flower and Bird Island Art Exhibition Center, Tunnel Multimedia Art Museum, Low Carbon Environmental Protection Art Tube, Flower and Bird Island Photo Studio, etc.), and go to the place where Xie Tong and Guan Guan dated in "Ode to Joy 2" to see the sea.

--Farewell to the ideal island--

After bidding farewell to Flower and Bird Island and returning by boat, everyone was still reluctant to leave and immersed in beautiful memories!

Disband at the pier: After arriving at the pier, drive back by yourself!

Disbandment in Hangzhou: Take the bus back to downtown Hangzhou for disbandment!

Note: Island activities are significantly affected by the local marine climate. In the event of heavy fog, strong winds, or typhoons, flight availability must be confirmed one day in advance. Flight times on the day of departure are subject to actual conditions. In the event of inclement weather, temporary suspension of flights due to force majeure may occur, and you may be stranded on the island. Any resulting expenses will be at your own expense. We apologize for any disruption to your itinerary.

Q: When is the best season to visit Flower and Bird Island?

From March to May, it is the flower season on the island. Flowers bloom all over the mountains of Flower and Bird Island. Except for the fact that you cannot go swimming in the sea, it is a desirable season of the year.

June to October is the peak season for Flower and Bird Island, and registration is usually required a month in advance. Blue tears, heat waves, beaches, and bikinis—this is the hot season.

From November to December, it is the seafood season on Huaniao Island. At this time, the fishing ban has passed, the seafood is plump and delicious, and fortunately it is not too cold, which is suitable for real foodies.

New Year's Day to Spring Festival, the island has a unique New Year season. There are almost no tourists on the island, so you can start a unique journey of your own.

Q: What are blue tears? When can I see them on Flower and Bird Island?

This is a type of fluorescent plankton that lives in the bay, commonly known as sea fireflies. They have a bioluminescent gland in their bodies that emits a blue light when stimulated by waves or other factors. They are beautifully called "blue tears." The blue tears on Huaniao Island typically bloom from June to September each year.

Q: Why should I go to Flower and Bird Island with China-TravelNote?

China-TravelNote has been operating Hua Niao Island since 2015. Due to its high-quality service and stable customer flow, China-TravelNote signed a 2018 Huadong Travel Agency general agency agreement with Hua Niao Island in December 2017. In December 2018, China-TravelNote and Hua Niao Island signed a further general agency agreement for 2019. Looking forward, China-TravelNote and Hua Niao Island will continue to work together to provide an even better Hua Niao Island experience.

Located north of the Shengsi Islands, at 30 degrees north latitude in the East China Sea, Huaniao Island is a beautiful, pristine island. Surrounded by turquoise waters, abundant fisheries, and a tranquil fishing village, it feels like a paradise, making it a popular destination for off-the-beaten-path island travel in China. Huaniao Island's shape, resembling a seagull about to take flight, is adorned with lush flowers and plants, giving it its name. From May to October, the waters surrounding Huaniao Island take on a light turquoise hue, and with luck, you can witness a "fluorescent sea" at night. The island boasts two or three clean, sandy beaches, perfect for swimming and playing in the sand in the summer. The island's numerous unique rock formations and old stone houses add to its mystique and pristine tranquility.

Built in 1870, the cylindrical tower stands over 17 meters tall, marked with two horizontal stripes, black on top and white on the bottom. At nightfall, a xenon spotlight atop the tower sweeps its beams in all directions at a speed of one revolution per minute, with a range of up to 22 nautical miles. Half of Flower and Bird Island is illuminated by the lighthouse's powerful beam, making it appear as if it were daylight. In foggy, overcast weather with poor visibility, the tower is equipped with a high-powered fog horn, whose sound can be heard over 10 nautical miles away, alerting passing ships. Due to its long history and magnificent architecture, the lighthouse is known as the largest lighthouse in the Far East. Other scenic spots on Flower and Bird Island include the Tiger Cave, Cloud Cave, and Monkey Cave. Cloud Cave is said to reach the bottom of the ocean. East Cliff is a great spot for watching the waves, as it faces the sea, with strong winds and high waves, creating a spectacular spectacle. Flower and Bird Island is naturally ablaze with flowers. Famous flowers such as azaleas, lilies, and daffodils can be seen everywhere. Especially in spring, the mountain flowers are in full bloom and the fragrance is overwhelming. Mussels and grouper are also produced in the cracks in the rocks along the island, making it an ideal place for mountaineering, camping, and fishing.
