Tourists choosing to meet in Anyang will be picked up at Anyang East Station at 10:00 AM today (the tour leader will confirm the exact pick-up location in advance, so please be sure not to be late). Arrive at Anyang Yinxu around 10:30, a treasure trove that is on the must-see list in one's lifetime. Let's experience the prosperity of the ancient capital thousands of years ago. Today we will visit the Yinxu Museum (New Hall).

As the place where oracle bone inscriptions and the Simuwu Ding were discovered, Yinxu itself is a top-level world heritage site in China. For people who love history and traditional culture, each piece of oracle bone is a decoding of a piece of history, and each bronze artifact is a true legend, recording the endless past of the ancient Shang city.

·afternoon

Around 1:30 PM, we'll depart for the Red Flag Canal Scenic Area. The Red Flag Canal, known as the "Man-Made River in the Sky," winds through the Taihang Mountains, known for its breathtaking scenery. Like a blue ribbon, it winds its way through the Taihang Mountains, known as "the most majestic and scenic spot in the north." The Youth Cave, a key project of the Red Flag Canal's main canal and the epicenter of the Eighth Wonder of the World, traverses the breathtakingly steep Xiao Gui Face. The cave was named "Youth Cave" after the 300 young men who dug the cave, drawn from migrant workers across the county. The renowned artificial river stretches majestically and perilously high above the mountainside cliffs. We'll walk along the canal dam to experience the arduous construction process up close. We can also take an optional boat tour inside, followed by a visit to Yixiantian (One Line Sky) and the Sky Bridge.

Return to Linzhou city for accommodation at 17:30.

·afternoon

We went down the mountain in due time and then took a bus to the "World Geopark", a national 5A-level scenic spot - [Yuntaishan] for accommodation, and checked in near the scenic area.

In the afternoon, we transferred to a scenic shuttle bus and entered the core tourist area. We first arrived at Hongshi Gorge, a breathtaking jewel of Yuntaishan's landscapes. Entering the scenic area, we never turned back. The canyon stretches 2,000 meters and typically takes 1.5-2 hours to explore.
Entering from the entrance, we first encountered the majestic White Dragon Waterfall, a three-tiered waterfall with a drop of over 60 meters. Further ahead, we encountered a narrow "slit of sky" at the southern end of the canyon entrance, flanked by towering mountains, leaving only a narrow sliver of skylight. Deeper, we encountered the Nine Dragons Stream, formed by Shoulongtan and Heilongtan. Other scenic features include secluded waterfalls, stone caves, and kissing rocks, each with its own unique charm. The canyon's purple-red rocks are relics of the Sinian period, 1.4 billion years ago. Rich in rocks from various ages, it's a veritable geological museum, a breathtaking landscape painting.

Return to your hotel and rest in due time. Tourists still interested in the evening can enjoy the Yuntaishan Night View Project at their own expense. Located in Yunxi Valley, Yuntaishan's "Yunxi Night Tour" features a large-scale nighttime light show that blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, utilizing high-tech technologies such as sound, light, electricity, and holographic projection.

Yuntaishan Zhuyu Peak, at 1,308 meters above sea level, is the main peak of Yuntaishan. Densely covered with vegetation, it resembles a natural oxygen bar. From the summit, panoramic views of the rolling mountains unfold, offering a sense of grandeur and the feeling of "standing on the summit, overlooking all the other mountains."

Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, lies in the heart of China, nestled between the nine provinces. It's known as the "Heart of China's Railways" and the "Crossroads of China's Transportation." Zhengzhou is the hometown of Huangdi, the ancestor of Chinese civilization, the capital of the Shang Dynasty, and the capital of the Yellow River. Its urban greening rate is among the highest in China. The towering plane trees lining the streets have become a common sight, earning it the nickname "Green City of the Central Plains." Zhengzhou isn't a bourgeois city, but its generosity, inclusiveness, and comfort are undeniable. A bowl of braised noodles, a few good friends, a handful of grilled skewers, a few beers, and Henan opera—life goes on.

Wanxian Mountain, part of the Southern Taihang Scenic Area, boasts a unique blend of grandeur, majesty, uniqueness, seclusion, and ruggedness. Key attractions include Guoliang, the Chinese Film and Television Village, and Nanping, a tranquil mountain village. It is a renowned tourist destination, summer retreat, leisure destination, and a base for film, television, and sketching. Guoliang Village, located deep in the Taihang Mountains, 60 kilometers northwest of Huixian County in Henan Province, sits on a cliff 1,700 meters above sea level and is considered one of the Ninth Wonders of the World.

Yuntaishan, located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, at the southern foot of the Taihang Mountains and at the junction of the Henan and Shanxi provincial borders, covers a total area of 190 square kilometers. Yuntaishan's steep terrain and the perpetual shroud of clouds and mist between its peaks and valleys give it its name. Its main peak, Zhuyu Peak, rises 1,308 meters above sea level, and the Yuntaitian Waterfall, with a 314-meter drop, is one of the highest waterfalls discovered in China. The Yuntaishan Scenic Area is rich in geological relics, with rock formations dating back 3.4 billion years. Over the past 3 billion years, strata have been formed throughout the Archean, Proterozoic, Paleozoic, and Cenozoic eras. Repeated tectonic movements, particularly since 23 million years ago, have resulted in intense uplift from neotectonic movements and deep incision by water erosion, creating Yuntaishan's twin cliff-faced canyons and a variety of dynamic waterfalls, springs, streams, and pools, which together form the "Yuntai landform."

Luoyang, one of the four sacred cities of the world, is a capital city with a rich history. Over 100 emperors have ruled from here. It is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation. It was a key hub on the Grand Canal during the Sui and Tang dynasties. Luoyang is renowned for its peonies, earning it the nickname "Millennium Imperial Capital, City of Peonies."

The Longmen Grottoes, excavated during the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, underwent continuous large-scale construction over a period of over 400 years, spanning the Eastern Wei, Western Wei, Northern Qi, Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, and Song dynasties. Stretching one kilometer from north to south, they now boast 2,345 caves and niches, over 100,000 statues, and over 2,800 inscriptions. Among them, the "Twenty Fragments of Longmen" exemplify the essence of Wei stele calligraphy, while Chu Suiliang's "Yique Buddhist Shrine Stele" exemplifies the art of regular script in the early Tang Dynasty. The Longmen Grottoes, spanning a long period of time and multiple dynasties, offer a wealth of artifacts and textual materials that reflect the developments and changes in ancient China's politics, economy, religion, and culture from diverse perspectives, making a significant contribution to the innovation and development of Chinese grotto art. In 2000, they were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lijing Gate, the western gate of Luoyang's old city, echoes the Bell and Drum Tower on East Street and stands as a distinctive landmark. Its structure, comprised of an arrow tower, a city gate tower, a urn, and a moat, exemplifies the archetypical city gate of Chinese history. Its high and thick walls, vast moon-shaped city walls, and overlapping gates, shrouded by thousands of floating clouds, create a majestic aura. A poet once praised its immense charm with the words, "Luoyang's peonies are the best in the world, and the Lijing Gate Tower is unrivaled." Lijing Gate, one of Luoyang's eight scenic spots, was once a place where officials of the imperial court and the public came to pray for blessings and good fortune.

Shaolin Temple, a world-renowned Buddhist temple and the ancestral home of the Chan sect of Chinese Buddhism, holds a significant position in the history of Chinese Buddhism. Its fame stems from the dedicated practice and continuous development of Shaolin Kung Fu by successive generations of Shaolin monks, earning it the reputation of "Shaolin Kung Fu originates from, and Shaolin Kung Fu is the best in the world." Shaolin Temple is now a National AAAAA-level tourist attraction and a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Site.
